Weed, Ca is not a big city, most that visit are passing by. Dania the cashier was interested in why I was taking pictures, I had to explain that I love reviewing businesses. She went on to explain that a lot of homeless were trashing up the restroom. The restroom says you have to buy something, I purchased a lollipop for 50cents I am sure a homeless person can afford that. That's not a good enough excuse... your business just force people to buy stuff. read more

We've been stopping here for a little over 2 years on our way to and from our cabin. Every time we stop we get the code from them while pumping gas and use the restroom before buying snacks. Never had an issue. Today they refused to let my husband use the restroom while we were pumping gas until he produced a receipt. They could literally look outside of the window and see our truck hooked up to the gas pump. So this business wants you to sit there and wait for your gas to finish pumping before you are allowed to use the restroom-no other gas station in CA is like that. We will never stop here again. There's plenty of other gas stations and we will be using a more reasonable one from now on because who wants to stand next to your vehicle to collect a receipt in order to use the restroom? Also wanted to add that the lady behind the counter was incredibly rude. Do yourself a favor and just go to one of the other gas stations in Weed. read more

Short lady with white hair and glasses was so rude. Such a bad service! We were so kind and even asking her about her day. She got annoyed and scoffed when we said we had EBT. When her manager came out she started acting right. I work hard for my EBT. This is unacceptable, my family comes here each time we go to Oregon. read more

No longer spirt. Now Patriot gas. Not so patriot that they do not accept passports for ID to purchase alcoholic beverages. When asked if I had a regular Id i stated this is more vetted than a state ID. She refused service and was very rude! I'm here working from out of town! Rather than resort to primitive natural relief methods and pee in a bottle, I decided to take a detour off the highway into Weed, CA, to see what I could see. More accurately, pee where I could pee. Not too far off the I-5 you'll encounter this little convenience mart / gas station combo. The bathrooms were clean, there was plenty of parking, and the view of Mt. Shasta was pretty spectacular. (see photo) Their coffee makers were confusing; usually the maker with the orange handle is decaf, right? Not here, it was a french roast. Considering I had been driving for around 13 hours by this point, and hadn't slept the night before, I was needing the jolt, and my brain wasn't functioning well enough to figure out this problem by myself. This review is for the bathroom at the Spirit Food Mart in Weed California and is part of my "Are We There Yet? Potty Breaks on the 5" Yelp list. The restroom had a changing table,a framed duck print and lavender painted walls. The floors were waxed to such a shine as to be reflective! The main store had a pumpkin carving contest in the store in honor of Halloween. All in all a very lovely small town, gas station experience! As the image of the sign indicates, their gas prices are well....pricey, but pretty much in line with small mountainish town gas prices. read more

I often stop here on the way through. Pleasant staff, perfectly clean bathrooms which is often why I need to stop. A pretty sign next to the place to take a photo with kitch motel signs dotting the main drag. It is always pleasant. read more

This is the best gas station bathroom I have encountered. I echo what Julie said about the decor and atmosphere two years later. The employees are friendly and the store stocks the usual drinks, snacks and beer etc. There is ample parking. Gas is priced high but this is an out of big city spot. All in all an easy and clean place to stop along the highway. read more

Conveniently located off of I-5 in Weed, CA. This is a great place to stop and stretch as well as fill 'er up. With friendly station employees and a clean station, it's a good place to stop and refuel. read more

I came here twice on a road trip once on the way there and once on the way back it's right next to two other gas stations but their sign says that they are cheaper so we went there, we didn't realize until the second trip that they are lying to get more customers. Once you go to the pump the numbers are different and it cost more than the Chevron and Shell! Now I'm curious what I payed the first time I came by! read more
