They have changing rooms and the costumes ranged pretty much from $60-$90 and you get to keep them for a week! We rented on the Saturday prior to Halloween Friday and didn't have to return it until Monday, 11/3. You put down your credit card as deposit and pay a cleaning fee when you rent. It's a pretty simple arrangement at Harris, where they've been plying their trade in one way or another for something in the area of 63 years (I think that actually may be the real figure), and they're pretty savvy when it comes to helping you sort what you're after. At some point there was a fire, and we'll assume for the sake of argument that it was bad, as this business doesn't exist in those environs any longer. But nowadays they bring the rental side just fine (mental note: there are tons of hats), and the sales side is pretty fun too (if you're in the market for a feather boa they have you wrangled). After catching up with my friend, I walked through the entryway into a completely different world. Well, country, I guess. There were racks of beautiful belly dancer outfits, statues of Egyptian gods, jewelry, papyrus prints, just awesome. I stayed to chat with the owner, Dee Dee, who is ridiculously sweet and helpful. I left with 20 postcards to send friends from "Little Egypt." :)
