I've heard of Spitfire before, but never had a chance to try it until now. I have been to TurCuisine years ago and liked it. I was not impressed with the food or prices. My coworkers and I ordered the following: -Döner Wrap ($9) -- my order -Chicken Shwarma Platter ($11) -Fish and Chips Platter ($13) My wrap was not very filling as it was mostly carbs from the wrap, and not a lot of meat. The meat itself was very dry and almost rubbery. I would definitely pay 5.50 for this, but not $9. The chicken shwarma was also such a small portion for the price. My coworker said the chicken was bland. The fish and chips platter definitely seemed0 worth the price. The fish was premade (but crispy) and sitting under the heat light. The fries weren't too bad. Another coworker had ordered a salad and said the lettuce was orange/bad. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get a picture. read more

I'm so happy I stopped in today! When I worked on Worldgate I would stop in TurCuisine every chance I got and am so excited that they have a food truck I can access now across town. I was with a group of coworkers at Solace brewery the day after the last day of school. It was pouring rain and just wanted a bite to eat. I asked for the gyro platter and was asked what kind of sauce I wanted. I asked what they had and the man in the truck asked if I was a teacher. I said "Yes" and he responded with "You (or you all) don't know how to read". I'm sorry I didn't read the entire menu to avoid being soaked. The spitfire food truck has been coming to my business office complex 3 times a week within the last few months and I finally got to check them out and have since tried two things. The Chicken shawarma wrap (added feta cheese) was well seasoned, very filling and pretty good. The fish and chips special was really good - great side salad, deliciously seasoned french fries and crispy battered fish - pretty big portion size too , so I only got through about half the meal and saving the rest for lunch tomorrow. Spitfire came by on our traditional food truck Thursday this week. All in all I was pretty impressed and would recommend! I got the doner platter which was marinated beef over rice, side salad, and a pita for 10 bucks. Good deal. The salad actually had a ginger sauce not unlike what you'd expect from a sushi spot. It went well with the feta. The meat was really tasty too with the spicy sauce. The bread was just a typical pita. Thumbs up. read more

I tried it first time today. Had their Kofta sandwich special. Was super good! The meat was very fresh and juicy. They also used their own sweet dressing which tasted amazing with everything. Gave it that delicious sweet and salty taste I love... One cool thing they do is play Trance music too! I'm a big fan of trance too. read more

Spitfire came to my office today! I enjoy TurCuisine (they are owned by the same) so I was hopeful that the food from Spitfire would be good too! I was not let down. I had the Doner Platter.....servied on rice with a side salad and a pita with spicy sauce (choice of regular or mild). It was delicious. There were a few options...first you choose your meat (doner, chicken or falafel) then you choose wrap ($8), on a salad ($9, served with pita on side), or on rice ($10, with salad and pita on the side), then you choose your sauce (regular or spicy). I thought it was a good amount of food for lunch for the money and tasty too. Can't beat the convenience of the doorstep of your office either! read more

Spitfire (and their sister truck Steak vs. Burger) came to Rachel Carson Middle School's seventh grade back-to-school night at the request of our PTA. They were fantastic. Everyone that ate raved about the food and the service. With both trucks, we had a nice selection, including vegetarian, from which to choose. The wait times were relatively brief, and the food was served with a smile. We hope to use them again for upcoming events. If you have a chance, check them out. read more

Delicious. Had the chicken platter. Wanted to order the doner kabob and salad but they were out of both, otherwise five stars. Chicken was marinated and deliciously flash grilled. Bread and rice were also tasty and so was the spicy Yogurt sauce. Will definitely go back and try the doner kabob salad. The folks running the truck were apologetic they ran out - but we were also there towards the end of the normal lunch cycle. SpitFire came by today again and i must say the Beef Shawarma was amazing!!! The portions are huuge! And the fries are always piping hot, crispy and fresh. Its parked at 1593/1595 Spring Hill Road Vienna if anyone's in the area. I usually chase them around as they rarely come by our office bldg. We invited Spitfire Grill to our neighborhood fall party. Everyone enjoyed the food and we were so glad we chose Spitfire for our event.

Really, really good! I got the Doner (gyro meat). The meat was so tender and flavorful; sliced perfectly thin. Generous portion. My base layer was salad which was fresh and crisp with sliced onions, cucumber and tomato. The spicy yogurt was outstanding. The ladies were also quite nice. I'm glad I forgot my lunch today - my luck. Can't wait to try the chicken next time! read more

I'm a fan! Super friendly staff. I tried Spitfire at my office park today, it was very good for a food truck. I love the idea of a food truck but some lack real flavor and quality and have the same old choices. I agree with another reviewer, the menu is simple, some of the trucks have TOO many choices and then they take long because they cannot manage the rush. There are a lot of Mediterranean food trucks, but Spitfire was one of the better ones i have tried. In regards to quality and flavor, they are better than average. I had the wraps, a friend and i split a chicken and split a gyro meat, added the spicy sauce and feta and it was delicious. The pita was decent, toasted and not soggy. The spicy may have been what made it, but it wasn't too spicy, it was just right. I would order again! read more

The Spitfire Food Truck helped serve our 70 wedding guests in our "food truck wedding". Julianna provided great communication prior to the event and was super easy to work with from start to finish. Spitfire was willing to accommodate all of our needs, including customizing the menu options and working along side another food truck. They arrived early to set up their truck and prepare for dinner. All of the guests raved abut how good the food was and loved the atmosphere of a food truck wedding in our front yard. Their simple menu provided enough food combination options while allowing for quick service to all the guests. The best part for us is that they provided a 2 hour dinner "window" allowing all our guests to eat at their leisure. Their crew was cheerful, professional and needed no oversight, which on a stressful wedding day is sooo helpful. We can not recommend their services highly enough. You will not be disappointed.
