I do understand some of the other complaints about customer service and feeling ignored when you enter the facility. Most of the employees don't seem like they care about customer service. Now the reason I gave 2 stars was after waiting fir almost a week to hear about the diagnosis of my climbing saw (could be backlogged, no big deal) I began a game of phi e tag with the mechanic. I'm not a fan of the game so I went in to ask what the status was. I was told I needed a new carburetor and that would be about $170. I asked for my saw back amd when it was brought out, it was. A fee pieces, the linkage to the carburetor was off and the throttle body open to contaminants. So my saw in a few pieces, not being cared for, and handed back to me like a child is the reason for my review and why I will head back to Hill Country Outdoor Power for future chainsaw repairs. ​

    Took my John Deere to get it repaired. Told him it wasn't getting any spark. So instinctively he…read morechanged the fuel pump. He then kept running the starter until he burned it up. He wanted to charge me $250 for a $48 dollar part, that he ruined. Working on it myself I noticed some oil spray coming from around the fuel pump. I took it off and found the threads were stripped and most of the old gasket was still there. Do not take your machines to them.
