Charged $29 for "the works" includes the tire shine tires are still dirty no type of shine. The hood is still dirty they only vacuumed the interior didn't wash my mats told me that was extra charge. Not sure what the deal is with all the negative posts to this place. I've been here a couple times for basic stuff and gotten reliable, good service. It's an automatic car at Monesh. If you come in with higher expectations than that, you're likely to be disappointing. That said the machines were great, and the staff are helpful. read more

I pulled in to Splash tonight with a want and a need to get my car washed. I drove in to the lot and pulled up to the start of the beginning of the car wash. No one was there to greet me. I waited a couple of minutes and still no one came to start the car wash process. So I beeped my car horn ( hoping someone would come to help ) still nothing .. so I laid on the horn like a crazy woman ... finally a man comes from the building. I asked him.. Are you open ? He mumbled something .. I said .. I am sorry .. are you open .. he said yes we are open until 8 .. it was 7:40 pm .. then he continued .. they were suppose to tell me if someone pulls in ... then he said what kind of wash would you like ? I had a coupon to use .. when he told me I could not use the coupon ( it was only for regular hours ) I LEFT !! I would not recommend this car wash. They do not want customers. read more

I can't believe the Woodbridge location has the Splash name! I have been taking cars to Splash in Greenwich, Wilton and Norwalk for years and was hoping I had found somewhere I could continue to use now that I've bought my own home near this location. I was so very disappointed. Despite charging the same price as others for 'the works', there wasnt even a quick vacuum included or a wipe down inside and the wheel brite wasnt done (I just wanted to leave as I was late) The outside was mostly clean except I notices that my side windows had water spots form not being dries properly when I got to my next local. I will keep going to another store where I pay $12 instead of $15 with the extra money to gas as I get way better service. read more

Went back again talked to assist manager and Manager about guys not doing inside of back glass every time I go in there not once in a while but every time told them i feel like i have to go home and clean my car after paying them. STILL didnt do back glass had to ask them to do it to get it done.They dont do what they charge you for.Will never go back there again. read more

My overall experience could have been influenced by the complete catharsis I experienced after not getting my car washed in shamefully over a year. Despite my emotional state, I still feel I can be objective in this review. Staff is friendly, laid back and professional. Prices are pretty standard from what I remember back in the day. In the main waiting area they have a screen that displays all the cars outside that are getting dried so you can know when your car is ready, and could prob be useful if theft is ever considered. Also have the glass window that allows you to watch your car as it drives through the cleaner(who doesn't love to watch?), and the glass window is equipped with 2 soap gun shooters that were unfortunately empty. They were having a promotion and giving out free Dunkin' Donuts, and that coupled with a small Kuerig to make your own coffee (why is there always coffee at car wash places??) pretty much made my day. However, they did leave some blatant wet spots on my car, and also didn't touch the aftermath of a pigeon poop bomb above my windshield. For tips they have a communal tip jar outside. Overall pretty standard and average car wash place. I'll prob come back since it's so close to my place, and hopefully will be sooner than this time next year. Just wanted to add a quick update, because I received a very timely and thoughtful follow up response from Mark (in comments). Really wanted to stress that the costumer service was great. Just the clear wet spots, and the fact that I had to remove the bird poop myself after the wash were the two factors that dropped my rating from 5 to 3. read more

I bought one of the wash as much as you want memberships for the sole reason of keeping the underside of my truck clean. The membership includes undercarriage washes. First time I went through, I got home and was under the truck later, and was surprised by how much dirt there was, given that it was freshly washed. Next time I went through, I immediately checked under, and it was dry as a bone. I pointed this out to the guys, and they said take it thru again. Which I did. This time they used the spray guns to spray the rockers, but again, the driveshaft, muffler, middle of the truck was dry. Fast forward two more times of this and I spoke to the manager and claimed that the undercarriage wash was not working. He denied this. I then went and watched through the window the next time it went through, and there was no sign of any undercarriage wash. So these guys either have a broken undercarriage wash, or it never existed, but are unwilling to admit it. Check your vehicle next time you go through and buy an undercarriage wash. I'll buy you a beer if there is any sign of any washing whatsoever. read more

Worst car wash I have ever been to. I had to take the rag from one of the workers to wipe out some marks and bird poop that was left on my car. They told me that they couldn't get out the spots so I got out my car and showed him that the spots could easily be removed he then told me " don't tell me how to do my job" in an angry manner and started to get aggressive with me. What was the point of paying $20 to not have my car cleaned and having to get out my war and wipe my own car? Waste of time and money please avoid this place. read more

My husband and I had a great experience at this car wash. Both our cars were in desperate need of a wash and detailing. We decided to splurge and get the Works for both cars - clean them inside and out. The detailing was amazing - they didn't mess around. My car was in desperate need of a cleaning and this business was nearby so I drove in. It has been quite a while since I was there and am now reminded why. The exterior was nice and clean but the interior left quite a bit to be desired. The dashboard and door panels weren't touched and the windows were poorly cleaned. The vacuuming was adequate. They missed some spots but, overall, much better than when I arrived. I wiped down the interior myself. To be fair, the guys who dry the cars were great and took care of the windows. In fact, all of the guys were very friendly and, shameless attempt to up-sell aside (which I am sure is required), they were professional and welcoming. The cashier, on the other hand was so nasty I need a new word for nasty. I thought perhaps it was just toward me, until I saw how she treated other customers. And for what they charge for the service ($21.26 with tax for an interior/exterior cleaning with an undercarriage wash and some wax which I didn't want but was part of the package) a hello would be nice. Instead, she glared at me and the only words she spoke were the price and angrily asking me "you don't have the quarter?" It will likely be a very long time before I return. read more

To all my Connecticut friends, beware of taking your car to Splash Car Wash. I went to the one on Amity Road but now I will avoid them all. I went there yesterday as I do often, but it was a particularly horrible experience. Shortly after entering the tunnel on the conveyor belt, I heard a noise and noticed my passenger side mirror had been knocked off of the car. There was a loud sound and the manager stopped the conveyor belt. He wanted me to keep driving, but I refused and backed out. The bottom line is Splash refuses any responsibility and will not repair the mirror. When I checked the BBB (Better Business Bureau) report, they had and continue to have an "F" rating. That's right, "F". They earned the "F" because they ignore complaints. I called the police but there is nothing they can do. They did tell me they have had other complaints about them. The New Haven Police were quick to respond and showed concern but their hands are tied. Splash not only refuses any responsibility for their equipment, they are rude beyond what anyone one would imagine in a public business. The manager refused to give me his last name. He said he didn't have one. He also said no one could make his company do anything. He did not even apologize for my broken mirror. When I reached the manager at the Headquarters, he told me it must have been my fault as if I control their conveyor belt or equipment. He said he would call me back but did not. If you value your car and your peace of mind, stay away from them. There are so many other car wash establishments from which we can choose. Find one. read more

We brought our two cars in for express detailing after having driven across the country from California with two large, heavily shedding dogs in one of the cars. Needless to say, they were in rough shape. The guys at Splash took amazing car of our vehicles, with both ending up looking as good as new! They were even able to buff out some superficial scuffs from the bumper of one of our cars and got every fiber of dog hair out of our very dirty SUV. The detailing manager even made a point to come over and introduce himself and let us know he would make right whatever we found lacking in our detailing service. These guys provided amazing and professional service. I'm still marveling at how good ours vehicles look! We will definitely be back! read more

It was my first time going there and was really disappointed. Got there and the guy working there asked me what I needed. I said I checked online and wanted to get 'the works '.he straight away wanted to up sell me to a almost $50 wash.i said that I think the works is enough as mainly need exterior wash AND vacuuming. But I guess if you don't give in to the up selling people tune out and don't listen what YOU want. He took my card, charged me and sent me to the wash. Got the exterior wash and towel dry and they told me they are done. I asked about vacuuming (which again I had mentioned in the beginning) and they said it's not part of it. I ask if they do it separately and they said for $10 I can add vacuuming. So I went back in line,waited again, paid again to get the vacuuming done that I wanted all along. I waited and when it was my turn they vacuumed my car(so I thought) and were done in like under 10min. When I got home and looked at the car I found that my car was still dirty! I still had sand everywhere on the seats, it looked like those where not done at all. They shook out the mats but under the mats as well as the foot room in general was still not very clean. Dog hair, leaves, all still there.maybe a little less but certainly NOT clean.for $10 for vacuuming I expect my car to be clean. Not even talking about the trunk which has not even be opened... I could have done this vacuuming job myself for $1 with a low suction vacuum cleaner at any gas station.... Definitely not worth $10. So on top of spending in total almost $30 and spending much time there I came home to clean the car myself again. Don't think I will be going back there. read more

So if you've been off roading then it's ok. This is the second disappointment in a row for me. Last time I actually emailed the headquarters about how bad the wash was. No response. This time, I took the wife's caddy in. She had gone to RI and there were bugs on the wind shield. The car was dirty, but nothing extreme. After the $10.00 wash, the bugs were still there, they missed a lot of dirt. I had to wipe the car down when I got home, and do the windows myself. I can get past the wax all over my windows and dirty wheels..... However, I'm really not ok with a significant etch in my window. When I called to report the issue, I was asked if I'm sure it happened there, yes, I'm sure. From there I was handed over to the manager who I relayed the information again, and was responded to with silence. After asking if he was still on the phone, he said "he never had this happen there ever, and I could come back." Coming back was not an option today so I offered to send him a photo or come back tomorrow. He said "that's no good for me." I called not looking for money or even a credit, just an acknowledgement that it happened. All of this happened after waiting over an hour for an "express car wash" that was promised to be completed in 20-30 minutes, which I was okay with because they were busy, they gave me my car back without keys, which they found under the wiper blade, and on my way home I noticed the window. I was really hoping it was some wax or something and almost pulled over to confirm, but really thought there was no way they could etch glass with anything at the car wash. I guess the lesson I learned today is if you want your car washed right, and not lose money in the process, just do it yourself! read more

Multi site monthly car wash package is scam! I pay every month and every month is an argument to get my car washed. Even after showing my bank statement on a mobile app I am turned away by management. Most recently I had a manager who "fixed" the problem in 45 minutes only for me to run into the same problem at the next location.
