Worst customer service ever. When I questioned pricing, they threatened to remove me from the install list I had been on for almost a year. The representative said, and I quote "I'll just give your pool to someone else, that's no problem, we have a long list". Also received a horrible email from representative when I had a few questions to ask that I did not understand. Go to Eastside only. They treat you better there. read more

I had bought a pool filter and pump from splash city not more than about a year and a half ago brought in for service because the filter housing got a leak in the welded seam of the filter which caused my pool to drain and pump to seize. I have a credit from a previous purchase from almost 2 years ago I have not received that they Used my repair towards that credit which the repairs of the filter in the pump exceeded the cost of the filter and pump brand new what I got was used repaired stuff that cost me more than what it would be new!! I WILL NEVER NEVER buy from Splash City, Sioux Falls, SD, AGAIN. My 2 yr old liner they installed started falling in to the pool. They put me off for about a month....I fixed it myself without any help or advice from them. BUYERS BEWARE...they want to sell you their goods but NO SERVICE. read more

We purchased a top of the line hot tub 4 years ago. The employees are great at making a sale... and selling you there products. but if you need any kind of service or advice they literally turn their back on you... The sales man said there is nothing I can do and ran across the room dismissing us... I would deter anyone buying from splash city to STAY AWAY!!!!! Very bad service!!!! They had to travel to do my work and It took two separate trips and three months before my hot tub was repaired. I tried to call the service department numerous times that Kelly was always too busy to return my calls. Good people when you want to buy but stops there. Service is the worst I've ever experienced. Called for repair on a leak that I specifically identified. Was told I would get a call back from Kelly within 48 hrs. Over 5 days later & nothing. This not an isolated issue with her. We had the same type of disregard a few years ago. My wife finally went over her head to the manager to get results. Another post on Yelp indicates the same type of ignoring of customers. It's quite clear Kelly has some type privilege & pull to continue working there. I know I would be long gone on any job that I continued to serve customers in this manner. read more

We purchased a used pool table and had Splash City install it on 11/04/20. After the install was complete, I noticed one of rails were split, I remember when the installer called me over to look at it, he had a level sitting on the split and that covered it up. I called Splash City that day and they asked the installer about it, and acknowledged the installer was responsible for the damage. To make it right, they were going to pick up the rail and have repaired by a guy they use. Kelli said she would get back to me on a time they could pick it up because we are 90 miles away she would see if they had anything being installed in our area. I called 11/30/20 because I had not heard from her and we would be going out of town and would not be back until spring. We agreed to set something up as soon as we returned. I called several times only to be told she was STILL trying to get something to line up. Now it is January 2022 and she still can't find a way to make this right. I don't think you should give people the run around when they were clearly in the wrong. The last time I called was today. No answer. read more

Work hard on making a sale but bring no value after the sale is complete. In my experience the service after the sale is not a focus within their organization. The staff is not given autonomy to make it right for the customer. Every issue resorted to finger pointing and not resolving the issue. read more

called about issues with my spa and talked to kelli, she had someone come out right away to get it fixed. i have read the negative reviews and found that they are willing to help. yes it may have taken a few days for them to get to me but i understand that a company like them are very busy. read more

Great place, we got great advice , service and price for our pool. We received great instruction on how to work our system and then promptly forgot how to work it. A phone call later and some patience from Lon and we are back on track. Lon and mike and the staff are great. We wanted a built in water slide for our kids and instead of selling us a slide that we didn't need Lon guided us to a blow up one (that they didn't sell) for our situation rather than waste our money . They would rather guide us to what we needed rather than make a quick buck. Good people, good equipment , good service , good business . 5stars read more

If all you need is chemicals, you'll be OK. Don't ask for anything else. We bought our tub from Splash City a couple years ago. Love the tub and the price. However, the service consistently stinks. The installers scratched the side panel and did not install the lid properly. Took months of hounding to get it fixed. Today I called to see if they had replacement parts on hand or would need to order, as I don't want to waste an hour driving for nothing. Even after providing a serial number I was told I'd have to bring the part in for them to be sure. Really? Do you know your inventory? To top it off, my husband called in an hour later, and they looked it up--no problem. I won't deal with Splash City again. read more

By far the worst at service after the sale!! I bought the most expensive tub they had and informed them how I was going to install. I followed their recommendation. Fast forward a year. The tub started leaking radio quit working and all lights were all over the place. All I ever got was a run around and lied to! Not to mention the remote that was supposed to come with it took almost 3 months to get a working one while they ordered a used one and tried playing it off lol it didn't work anyhow!! Then I bought a filtration system and pump from them that started to separated at factory seam and leaked out while out of town. Obviously manufacturers deal. Nope they charged me more to fix the old system than the new one cost!!! What a joke!! Hold on not done yet I also bought a tiki bar setup for the deck and let me tell you that think fell apart sitting in the sun. They came out took pictures and said I'd be getting my refund. Called multiple times and guess what nothing nada zilch!!! Just a bunch of thieves if you ask me!! They came out to look at the tub but never got anywhere with that either. 26,000$ sticker on the tub. I paid 15,900 and for what a big paper weight. I am now going to be seeking legal counsel and will be keeping the reviews coming!! I recommend combined for all your needs. They came out and at least tried to help me out and I didn't even buy the tub from them!!! read more

Absolute worst service we have ever had from any business. They are more than willing to sell you the product, but awful service after. Took them 7 months to fix our hot tub. Now it is not working again. Called them a month ago for service and have not heard anything, if it is like last time they will not call unless we continue to call them. We have found a different hot tub company to work on there product. read more

We had an in ground pool put in last year. The service guys in the field are fantastic! If you need anything else that has to do with questions or service, you are in trouble! I have called multiple times asking for service and will get through 1 out of 5 times. The 1 out of 5 is not a pleasant experience at all. Once they get paid, you are on your own. I would not recommend Splash City for anything. Very disappointed with the after purchase support. read more

Recently one of our pumps on our hot tub needed to be replaced. I called Splash City to see if they could come replace the pump. I spoke to a women on the phone she asked me for my information, as I was giving her my information she proceed to yell at one of her coworkers about who's lunch was in the refrigerator completely ignoring me (This and more rude behavior went on throughout the entire conversation). I then had to repeat my information 3 times because she was to busy arguing with her co workers about lunch. She then proceed to tell me that a new pump would be $550.00 and this does not included a service fee AND a labor fee. In her words my hot tub was "so old" she wasn't even sure they could get parts for it. (Its 6 years old and it took me 10 minutes to find and order the part) She stated they would have to call me back on Monday to schedule a time to come out but it wouldn't be for a few weeks. I later found out that the woman I spoke to was the owner. I was so dissapointed in the the rude disrespectful, disgusting service I received and even more dissapointed in the fact that it was the owner who was behaving like this. Horrible costumer service and off the wall prices. I took it upon myself to find the part I needed and to replace it. I purchased a pump for $234.00 and watched a you tube video on how to change it. It was literally 4 screws. So easy!! My "so old" hot tub works GREAT! I will never do business with Splash City again. By the way I never did receive a call back from them either. Its been 3 weeks. If you are looking for a place of business where the owners example of costumer service is being rude, disrespectful and over charging their customers then Splash City is your place. If the owner can't get it right then you know the staff can't either. Combined Pool & Spa in Sioux Falls now has my business, along with my friends and family who have had similar issues with Splash City. Combined Pool and Spa have a friendly staff, very helpful and great prices, they treat their costumers with courtesy and respect. read more
