Rating it a four for the value of the 4-7pm price of $10. It lost a star for a few reasons. Restrooms were out of soap, toilet paper (in both stalls!), and paper towels. Also there is a little kids area perfect for smaller kids or kids with disabilities. The first life guard in that area made kids who were too big leave. The second like guard who came let an entire high school dance team over take the area even though they were clearly over a foot too tall. I think he let them stay because he was a good looking guy and he knew all the girls thought he was super cute and kept flirting with him. Also the snack shack took about a half hour for fries. My stars are basically just for the price. It was a good deal. read more

Man I hope this place reopens. So many good memories here in the 90's. Just moved back to the area and shocked to find it closed 3 years running. Wish I knew how to run a business this would be so cool to own. read more

Splash Down - Water Parks Near Me - Spokane Valley, Washington

Stay. Away. I'm writing this while sitting on the grass having completely given up on the idea of enjoying myself. I came with my wife and toddler son and it cost $40, my son was free. The price was ridiculously high, and the grounds and facility were as trashy as the customers were. The bathrooms were awful, the slides were in desperate need of repair, and the floors of the pools might just rip into your foot if you're not careful. We didn't try any of the food but that's only because I have an aversion to food poisoning. The signage to find the place is nonexistent, you need to pass through a public pool on your walk to the place. Here's my free piece of advice, stay away and save your money, if you do happen to come then just stop at the public pool, don't walk the extra 100 feet to Splash Down where the term cleanliness has went to die. read more

Great place for the family if you enjoy the smaller parks without an insane amount of people and ridiculously long lines. The slides are fun and it's a great environment for little ones. Cost us $40 for 2 adults and a child. They also have a small pool and slide area for really small children. You're allowed to bring food and drinks in (just no alcohol). I'd recommend it. I give it 4 out of 5 because the bathrooms where very dirty and only 1 stall had toilet paper. read more

Came here and it was 75 outside. Hardly anybody here and I found out why. It's because the water is unheated and is freezing. My 4 year old wouldn't go in the water. Left immediately and asked for a refund...no dice so 40 bucks into the wind. I'm sure it's ok if it's 90 degrees or you are related to Chilly Willy. read more

So here is my new updated review. We heard the original family bought the park back so we decided to give it a try again. And we are very glad we did. The Parks atmosphere was totally different but in a good way. You can tell it was just a smoother process over all. The life guards were in appropriate bathing suits and were watching the children instead of talking like they should of. I believe some of the family who owned the park were there and they walked around and said hello to us. The food is priced very decent and a fair selection. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. Over all I'm glad we went back and it was a pleasant visit. So happy the original family still cared enough to come back. read more

Been living here since April now and my husband had been crying all summer about wanting to come here. So we finally did it, though I would've liked the weather to have been hotter. From the freeway it looks a lot bigger and I guess we expected more. But we also came at the end of summer when most everything was closed down or getting ready to, i.e., no Dippin' Dots, ice cream, snack bar was closed, etc. There are about five slides. Five. 1-2-3-4-5. My husband was disappointed but I tried to get him to have fun and at least get the most for our money. He wanted to go home after an hour but I urged him to try all the slides at least. I think my favorite one is the one slide that is off by itself, not sure what it's called, but you have to wait for a float. Depending on whether you get the single or double, you could be waiting a few minutes. We went on that twice and the second time my husband got stuck. So when it came to my turn, he was waiting down in the whirlpool part and tried to grab my tube as I spun around him. He had a lot of trouble with the slides, getting stuck and all. There were a few times where he had so much trouble, I'd pass him on the way down...which is very dangerous! Kids, do not try that! I got stuck a few times and had to push myself down. There was definitely enough water coming down the slide but maybe I should've laid down more or something. Not enough speed/angle getting down. There was one slide I caught some air on. That was pretty awesome! The slide that goes down vertical was a bit scary I'll admit and I checked to make sure my bikini hadn't shifted before I got up out of the slide. I guess I understand that Spokane doesn't need a huge water park because they don't get miserable heatwaves like California does (UGH!) and it always seems you thought things were bigger as a kid. I think this would be good for little kids and it's still a good way to beat the heat during the short summer months. read more

It's fun, but small. Easy to waste a little time, but not a whole day. Good for families. The one thing I did like was the effort by the staff. When my boyfriend lost his credit card they helped us to find it and get it back to the same day. read more

Bought a coupon book from our daughters school. Had 4 coupons for buy 1 admission get 1 free. It is 102 degrees today. Just dropped off our teenage son and a friend. I am now driving back to pick them up because they have refused to honor the coupon. It would be bad enough if the coupon book was free but I PAID for it and they CHOSE to advertise in it. The only date on the coupon is Use by December 2015. Today is June 28 2015. read more

Great family friendly place! Haven't been here in 20 years, brought my own children and it's still just as fun as it used to be. 5 slides, a tubing 'bowl', and an under 48" kids pool and slides. You are even allowed to bring your own cooler (subject to search, no alcohol here), and bbqs on site. Burgers, dogs etc at concession stand. Also, lifeguards at every turn. I felt totally comfortable with the kids going down on their own. read more

This is one of the best water parks I have ever been to! The slides are quick and fun. The lines are super short and the workers are nice and fun! Although the water has leaves and stuff floating in it. The grounds where somewhat clean. Some of the lockers were in the men's bathroom. I went with my dad and he had to go in the men's locker room and I had to stay out and wait in the heat. If you are wanting a quick getaway than this is the place to do so. But there is this one slide that has a pretty big line. ( the tube one) and there are party's that are thrown there for a lot of reasons! If you are bored of staying at home and not doing anything than this place is great for that. The drive is easy and parking is free! read more
