The food was way overprice. The lines to a normal slide had a 40 minute wait. The food made me sick, it looked like they just stuffed anything they saw into the burger. Plus anyone could walk in like there was no security. The bathrooms were gross as heck. Also we were sitting under the waterslides because there was no space to sit. Honestly just go to Cowabunga Bay, I thought Cowabunga Bay was bad until I went to Splash. Also the wave pools were always being cleaned and the waves lasted for five minutes. Rude people here. I went with my boyfriend on the boomerang slide and the rule is heaviest goes in front. For context i'm 150, my bf is 200; he clearly looks heavier than me. One of the people that worked there, some miserable lady, tells us "heaviest in front but I can't tell the difference with you two." Like why would you say that? What gets into your head to tell that to a girl you've never met especially in front of a guy??? So RUDE!! The tubes are a scam. You pay $6 extra but you don't get tubes. They have maybe 1/2 as many as they sell and you have to wait in longer lines for tubes than the actual ride. Don't even think about getting one for the lazy river. People hoard them and there is maybe 1 for every 10 people who purchased one and everyone is grabbing anything they see even if they don't have a tube band. If you think you will just go on the slides that don't use tubes, think again. Everyone else that paid for tubes and was refused one, plus all the people who don't pay for one are in these lines and those lines are over an hour. It used to be that when you purchased a tube you got a tube and it was yours for the day. You should be selling only enough tube bands for the number of tubes you have available. It's a fun water park, but my sister had her credit and debit card stolen, you aren't allowed to bring in outside food so it makes you buy their expensive food inside, the lines for any of the rides with tubes are typically 30 minutes minimum. The grossest part is the hair in the water that would get stuck to your hands and toes. Just doesn't seem clean at all. The staff at the entrance are so rude and not helpful. It was our first time and we used our get out pass, we had no idea we had to buy a tube pass separately. My daughters waited 30 mins to just be told they couldn't go on the slide. The fact that you can't take snacks for your toddler even, is insane. Decent place to have some summer fun, but customer service is seriously lacking. We're "lifetime" seasons pass holders so we've been many times, but the staff at bag check & entry aren't friendly. I've asked them a few questions related to our visit and they looked at me as if I was bothering them for asking. Mind you, the line wasn't even long so they weren't in any rush. Anyways, the restrooms are seriously lacking in cleanliness and size. Many of the bathroom stall doors don't even lock from remaining broken & the restroom lines are always so long due to there being only 3 stalls. It's gross in there too. Some lifeguards are polite, most seem annoyed at lining people up for slides. Some police children's heights on slides, but others don't so it's hit or miss if your borderline height kiddo can go on the bigger slides or not. They don't police those in thong bikini bottoms though on the slides. It's an older place so lots of repairs needed in certain areas. Shade is hard to find and a lot of the customers get pushy if you put your items on an EMPTY chair next to them, but under the same umbrella. Staff won't care to listen to your side of the story and just escort you out instead if you complain. The lazy river water depths are also shorter than advertised. It's also more like dead vs. lazy since it barely keeps you moving. It's a shame they don't sell healthier options though. As many commenters have mentioned, a lot of customers prefer to eat healthy or are medically required to eat/drink items not sold here. This is a decent watermark but they have chosen to be like the airlines and charge for the ticket, then charge for the tubes but they have it set up in a way that a family can't simply rent two tubes and share. Each person needs a wristband to get a tube and then you pick them up at the end of the ride. They don't allow any food in the park. Sweet, holy, son of Vader, even greedy LaGoon allows you to bring in coolers! The food for purchase here is not all that scrumptious and if there are dietary restrictions, good luck getting something to eat. Don't get me started on their website where there is a link for park passes at $6.00 but actually that isn't true because if you look down lower, that is actually the price for tube rental. I'm telling you, all of this has Princess Leia, God rest her soul, rolling over in her grave. Now for parking, maybe churches should start charging to park on their blacktop! What a great fundraiser. I saw nothing on the website expecting there would be a banner similar to what they put for their advertised discounts. No adult in our party saw the sign that was supposedly out front. It may be because they only had one person checking bags with a huge line down the sidewalk. The first notice we saw was on the screen at the wave pool. If we had known of the closure, we would have picked a different day or gone early. No one mentioned it at the ticket booth and nothing was on our receipts. The only one that benefits is Splash Summit Waterpark. They take your money, kick you out early with no discount or refund for the shortened day, play upon people who don't know to check their website daily, and then pocket the money from corporations who rent the facility out. read more

My friend and I had a really good time here getting crispy Mustafarian sunburns and turning into prunes in the early part of June. Don't be like us and forget sunscreen. Before our adventure here, it had been probably five years since I had been to a waterpark anywhere, and I don't think I've ever been to one outside of California. Splash Summit is in Provo, Utah, and about a 45 minute drive (not including traffic) from the Salt Lake City suburb I was staying in during my latest visit. My first surprise was the absolutely beautiful view of the Wasatch Mountains as the backdrop for this place. Once again, people who scoff and call Utah ugly don't know what they're talking about. As a second surprise, there is plenty to do for people with ongoing back issues. I found the river pool, wave pool, and lagoon pool behind the rope swing very relaxing and spent the majority of my time rotating between them. The final surprise was how good AND how cheap the food was. Yum! The price to get in was around $24 per person, plus a couple bucks extra to access tubes, so I guess I expected the food to also be exorbitantly priced. It was not. I had a burger, mac n cheese bites, and a soda for $10. You can't do that in California. Those mac n cheese bites were seriously delicious. I would absolutely have that again. My friend also had some chicken nuggies that were tasty. We did also have some dippin' dot-like dessert later on with crunchy cookies on top that was good and similarly inexpensive. We were both very pleased with our experience here, the prices of things, and the variety of ways to enjoy ourselves. Staff were nice and laid back, and we had no issues whatsoever that weren't of our own doing. At one point, we overheard staff getting reprimanded by someone inside the food court and felt bad because they were all so nice and doing such a good job. :-/ Daily parking is around $6 and you'll need to drive up to the little hut things in the parking lot in order to purchase parking. I would definitely come here again, slathered in sunscreen like a mature 30-something adult, and with a big ol' sun hat. They do have lockers available for rent, at a couple bucks or so, and outdoor showers for rinsing off. If you need cabanas they also have those available for rent. read more

Would not come again. We came on a Monday and it was jam packed. The lines were very long and overall confusing to navigate. Cheap water park. The slides were a bit or miss, some were fun but most were slow or just way to short. Not much to do. Feels a little unsafe. And worst of all the concrete just burned our feet and there wasn't much safe places to walk. This is severely disappointing. I haven't been to the park since it was seven peaks but I didn't realise just how much it has changed for the worst. First, you are welcomed into the park after waiting in an hour and a half line. Next, it's already lunch time once you get into the park so why not grab food? Wait in line for food another 45 minutes but be careful with your overpriced drink because they can't possibly splurge to get a proper lid for them. After that, you look for a spot to sit down and their limited seating space is all claimed. You're not allowed to sit in any of the shaded grass areas anymore. Looks like you're going to burn your butt on the concrete in the blazing hot sun for the day. So, you've already spent a lot of money buying your ticket, parking, getting your food, now your whole party gets to pay $6 each to ride a tube. I'm so glad I can pay that extra money to go on one tube ride just so I can spend the rest of my day in the kid area with my toddler when I could have just rented one tube and took turns with my party. This place has been a family favorite. Especially for events like Birthdays, family Reunions etc. but learning the way they treated someone with a disability makes me so sad. It is not hard to accommodate these things. Either allow the "special diet" into the park, or offer the food items needed for the special diet in your park. If you worry it would be abused require a medical proof of some kind. Name on the insulin, dr note, medical bracelet etc. I understand a policy is a policy. But some policies are meant to be changed. Amazing place to spend a summer day! I've been here many times even when it was called Seven Peaks years ago. The slides and attractions appeal to both kids and adults alike. I find the steep slides especially fun to me. The orange (Free Fall) and blue (Sky Breaker) ones are my favorites because they are thrilling to go down face first with the mats the park provides. Fun story: Last Saturday, I rode the Sky Breaker, and as I got to the bottom, I think I hit a wave and I went airborne for a second, flew off the mat, and still managed to land in the slide, but I hit my eye and lip on the mat, and my right knee on the slide. When you go on those slides, please be very careful! This was the first time I've actually gotten "hurt" on the slide after many times riding it. Kind of a freak accident in my opinion. This was my first and last time coming to this water park. We arrived at around 11:30 and saw some clouds start to form. 15 minutes in it started to rain, which i understand is out of their control, but they handled it terribly. We were rushed to a building to wait for the rain to stop, and after over 45 minutes of waiting it was still pouring. We decided to try and leave and get a refund, but they refused and slammed the door right in our face. I love Splash Summit! It's a lot of fun. It has a lot of fun and different slides. They have a lazy river with a cool atmosphere. They have an awesome wave pool. They have a great area for kids and babies. I will mention about this 1 experience I had that upset me. I was in line for a slide with my niece. She was barely tall enough and so excited. We had a double tube. It was a Saturday so the lines were so long. We waited a little over 20 minutes until we got to the front of the line. If you have a tube you have to have a wrist band on, we both had a wrist band but my niece had pulled hers off earlier. There were a few kids in front of us without wrist bands on. The life guard didn't say anything to them about not having wrist bands on. He let them go down. Right before we got to the front, the lifeguard switched with enough life guard. The life guard now was a girl and she asked me if my niece had a wrist band and I had told her she did but pulled it off. She wouldn't even let us go down when we waited about 25 minutes and the life guard before her let a bunch of kids go down without them. We were super upset. That's the only bad experience I had but I like it enough I will still give it 5 stars. read more

First time at this Waterpark! Coming here on a weekday right when they open is the ideal time to go - not too hot, not too cold. They have a lazy river that goes around the tube slide. Tubes, whether single or double, are available to rent for ten to eleven dollars but you have it for the rest of the day. Kids got in free with a day pass as they participated in the April reading challenge of reading 500+ minutes for the whole month. You can get pretty awesome deals when you subscribe to their email list. Through the emails they send you, you can know when they have movie nights, etc. The park is also available to rent for private events. Plenty of shaded areas when you get there early enough. Parking is free if you have a handicapped placard! Definitely saves time when you buy your tickets online! read more

I saw another comment about Splash Summit that talked about how much they milk their patrons and I unfortunately do agree with that completely. Upon arrival, I was not expecting to have to pay for parking, especially $10. That just feels so steep; most parking meters or garages are a few bucks for two hours. Not only that, but usually it's nice, covered parking or close to the business you are going to. With Splash Summit, it is $10 to park on a lot with rocks and you have about a 5 minute walk to the entrance. From there, you need to pay for admission which is about $25 per person. Oh but that's not even all--you then have to rent a tube for $6. I get there is inflation and all that but there comes a point when it feels like theft. Of course, while you are there, you may also want a drink or something to snack on but the prices weren't that bad, all things considered. If it costs me $10 to park my car, that I unfortunately cannot hang in the air or park anywhere else even remotely close, I am shocked that a slice of pizza is only $3. I really did like the environment of Splash Summit and everything it has to offer once you are inside. The slides had a lot of variety and I liked the lazy river and the wave pool. They also played lots of awesome music! I also like that they have different food options depending on what you are in the mood for and you can order everything ahead of time online! This place is a joke. Luckily I had free passes or I would be really upset. Most of the slides require a tube that you have to pay $5 to rent PER person. Guess what? They keep selling tubes even though there are none unclaimed in the park. The day we were there 10 people were standing around in the area where tubes are supposed to be available begging for someone to be done for the day. We arrived around 2 PM and had to wait around for 2 hours before our family of 5 could procure enough tubes to ride together. There are a couple of slides you can do without tubes but the lines were an hour plus long to get on those. For what this place costs you can buy a summer membership to a community pool that you will actually get to use. I certainly won't be be back. If you are looking for a good way to throw away your money without any perceived benefits this is a good place to do it. I did enjoy the slides that required a mat instead of a tube because people hand those off at the bottom to those who are waiting. Most of the mat rides are pretty steep for younger kids though. We had a good day! Lines weren't too bad, and pizza was better than expected. They really need to fix the sinage on the slides as the signs/lines don't match the slides, but everyone seems to figure things out. Also, it was annoying that everyone was taking the blue foam sleds back to their private camp areas rather than passing them on to others in line. Also, they need more tubes. They sold out half way through the day and people were waiting in line for others to bring their back before they could get one. Multiple announcements over the intercom prompting people to return their tubes for $1 refund. So word to the wise, get there early, and get tubes right away. BEWARE! They are deleting negative reviews. Splash Summit does not accommodate anyone with special dietary or medical needs. They provide no food for those with celiac but do not allow you to bring food inside larger than a small ziploc baggy. They claim to follow ADA guidelines but the ADA has said that the small ziploc bag is not their policy. Horrible customer service, horrible manager, just horrible all around. Money talks SO DO NOT SUPPORT. Splash summit I will post my review every single day until you stop deleting. It would be so easy to fire your manager and change your policy but instead you take the time to delete reviews and hold your ground. We had one day of our family reunion at Splash Summit and it was a wonderful day! We rented the Clubhouse there and it was the ideal base for our family to come and go from throughout the day. We have several older family members who enjoyed talking to people as they came and went. The clubhouse has A/C so it was a comfortable place to hang and there was plenty of seating. Staff not well trained. I asked twice if I should be in the back and my son the front, and I was told that I had to be in the front. The result of listening to a know it all employee: we tipped over and both of us hit our heads and each had a bleeding foot. I was knocked unconscious for a few seconds and I have an enormous bump above my left eye. Discrimination against weight. If you look overweight, they make you stand on a scale in front of everyone, and if you aren't under the weight limit they start spreading the word. Oh, and it's just women that they weigh. It doesn't matter if your suit is adding to your weight. And so if you do, don't plan on doing much while your here. We won't be back. It's not with the drive for discrimination and rude employees.
