Do not use if you have an above ground pool. They do not care about you at all. We bought a heater from them. When they closed the pool they didn't empty the water and blamed us that the heater needed to be replaced and so we ordered a new one. They said it was due to our chemicals, which were always balanced. They installed the new heater and cut the liner which caused a leak. They told us they didn't do it. They didn't have time to fix it as their son got hurt. The pool wasn't leaking before the large cut in the liner where they installed the liner. They decided to come out to repair the liner. It didn't work. It was a bunch of blue goop brushed on. Again, they told us it was our problem and the people that installed the pool. I had a pool leak rest of the summer. I didn't pay the second half of the heater as my pool was leaking. They refused to fix it. I had two companies out here to look at the damage. This leak was not due to the original installation. It was from the install of the new heater where the tear was and the repair didn't work. It was an obvious slice where they installed the heater. Also when these companies came and looked at the old heater and they could tell the water wasn't emptied out of the heater when they closed the pool. Communication is horrible, they don't respond. The one gentleman who helps with chemicals is phenomenal, but other than that, the emails they sent me were mean. I paid for the other half of the heater as I had no choice. It was costly for me to continue fighting for a liner. Find another source if you can. They do not care about their customers and they take no responsibility for their work. They only have time for their in ground customers. read more

Do not use this company!!!!!!! They have zero loyalty to their customers. They schedule a repair date with you then never show up. When you call them they act like they never made a repair date with you. They will leave you hanging long enough to where any other repair place is booked for the season. When they find out you will not be able to use your pool that summer because of what they did, they don't care. Their staff and owner are both extremely rude. read more

I contacted the company to look at my hot tub that was having issues. The repairman noted that I needed an entirely replaced control unit. Also, there was a broken connection leaking water near the pump. The price for the control unit quoted was more than 2x the prices available all over the internet. I ordered and installed the part myself. But my efforts to finish the project were thwarted by trying to find a replacement split nut. The thing that is SO exasperating is that THEIR GUY broke it in the first place. It never leaked until he came. The pump would not function properly, but leaking was never an issue until they came. Oh yeah. And I installed the part because they would not install a part purchased elsewhere. I just wasn't willing to pay them $900 for a $440 part. I'm done with the project now. New Year's Day......-5 degrees and my built in outdoor hot tub is cold. The heater died overnight and temp is dropping fast. I called Splashtime on January 2 and spoke to Emily. She admitted that she wasn't familiar with the heater part numbers but she was 100% willing to help. She sent me pics of all heater parts inventory on my cell phone. She also notified the owner, Dan, who was on vacation. Dan called me from his vacation and I sent him pics of my heater. After some discussion and little research, I was able to retrofit my heater with parts from Splashtime. The tub was up and running just as the water was getting a little slushy. The team at Splashtime saved the day. My family was leaving town on 1/3 and I would have had to winterize my tub and shut it down otherwise. Highly recommended. I've had an in-ground pool in the Elkhorn area for 8 seasons. Finally, after another total disaster last year (pool unusable from mid July on), I gave up trying to outsource to the pool-service-pretenders. I brought a jar of pool water into Splashtime. Josette tested the water at the register instantly. A complete list of the chemicals I needed AND the proper method for adding them to my pool was printed out. That's right- both the ingredients and the recipe. Very detailed with quantities, time between chemical introductions, testing to be done after. All anyone would need to get things right. I bought the needed chemicals right there, at Splashtime, put them in my car and drove home. I followed the directions on the printout. (Turns out I did need more acid than anticipated-- but the test I was told to do let me know and I went back and got it). Within a week, my nasty algae farm was returned to a crystal clear pool. I have been screwed over by every previous contractor I brought in. I walk into Splashtime, and finally I get what I need exactly, every courtesy and interest in helping me get my pool operational, and no up-sell. PURE PRO SERVICE. I have total confidence in this local, family-run business. I do need service beyond what I want to attempt and I will be coming right here. Finally, an honest, interested pool place.
