We were heading back home from a show in downtown Jacksonville and decided to give this place a try for dinner since we have to drive right by it to get home. It is an order at the counter casual place that then delivers your food to your table. It was about half full when we arrived but it seemed to take a pretty long time to get our food. Unfortunately, both the Mac and cheese and the fries were kinda cold. The sandwiches tasted good, though. I had the Duval Dirty Bird chicken sandwich and my husband had the patty melt. They also have a pool table and some other arcade games, as well as a lot of different beers.

We did not know this pub was even there and has been, for 3 years! It is nice with lots of seating at bar and near it, 3/4 high tops. This area was mainly couples who appear to be regulars. Away from it is a pool table, another table game, golf video game. The larger area had 8 tables (2 rows of 4) facing a wall where the "Dueling Piano" were and advertised (reason we came), well...they were key boards not pianos (which we have seen in Orlando bar) was not this. They were ok but many seated were enjoying it; waving hands, singing along, etc. Over all.... it appears a local spot, for all the local people in the apartments nearby. They have bar food and even a brunch menu on one of the weekend days.

Shout out to "Cat" who is the BEST bartender there! First timers, went before a concert at the Florida Theater. She made a Vodka/Lemonade that was fantastic! My husband had a 7/7 and she gave him the choice of several whiskeys. The place was packed but the service was outstanding! We liked it so much, we can back after the concert & had a burger & patty melt. DELICIOUS! Made the 2 hour drive home a good one. If we ever get back to Jax, we have to stop here! You should too!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again... "Let's talk about Spliff's baby / let's talk about Mac & cheese / let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be / let's talk about Spliff's!!!" We came in as a fam jam on Saturday night and we were the only ones here, which makes NO sense because *everything* we ordered was chefs kiss magnificent. Please come try a flight and play some foosball and eat the best dang grilled cheese & chippies in your life. Keep this place open. It's a vibe for your date night or your family night out!

Decided to grab lunch while out and about. My second time at this location - first review. The staff was wonderful (and I saw them handle a jerk of a customer with class and calmness - impressed!). Every single person I interacted with was lovely, conversational, and polite. I had the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken felt a little on the rubbery side, but the flavor was decent. The Mac and cheese side I got made up for any of the chicken trouble. I also tried the fries my friend had and I really liked those. She liked her grilled cheese The day we went they had what looked like a local artist there painting and selling his art. I thought that was neat! I will def go back!

Fries are great! ! 5 Stars. Came for the comedy. Would rather had watched the game. Comedians, let's just say, The audience was funnier than the comedians. The girl in the stripped orange and pink shirt was hilarious, before she got kicked out. Brian was good though. Glad it was free.

Down and dirty: quick service with good food and drinks at decent prices. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Glad we decided to give this place a try and would definitely recommend to others. Service: it's an order, pay and sit where you want kinda place and when we went it had maybe 4 people there with two servers/bartenders and we ordered quickly and got the seat of choosing. Drinks came out quickly and food followed suit relatively quickly. Servers LorieBell and April(?) were very nice and efficient and split the load well. LorieBell was the main one who assisted us and she was great! Food: ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the down on the bayou chicken sandwich. The fries where like thinner steak fries and really good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and nice and juicy. The buffalo sauce on the sandwich had great flavor and quite the kick. Plenty of food and left full. Atmosphere: place was clean with lots of seating options. Bathrooms clean and stocked well. Pretty empty but more people came in as we were there bur overall pretty quiet. Played a great mix of 90's music so I was happy eating, drinking, and singing along with the tunes. Price: My margarita was $10 and my husband's beers were less than $5 a piece. Our meals were roughly $15 each. Got plenty of food for a fair price.

This was our 1st time at this location, as the Hubs and I are big fans of The Spliff's location downtown. Our favorite thing to get is their patty melt, and this location did not disappoint! The bbq Mac n cheese was tasty as well. Loved the clean atmosphere, and it was pretty low key for a Sunday afternoon (and playing some Bob Marley when we walked in was a plus). Great selection of beers! Service was great, and Carly was very attentive to our needs as she was more than happy to change one of the tvs to football for us. Definitely counting Spliffs on Old St Augstine Rd a date night spot! Also, there's Trivia Tuesday and Karaoke Thursdays.

I ordered the patty melt my face and my husband got the wake and bake with aside of Mac and cheese that also tasted delicious!

This place is amazing I love the atmosphere the customer service. The food is amazing and reasonable. The drinks also taste so delicious. I can't wait to come back for more! Shout out to our server Sara! Awesome custom service ! This was our first time here and decided to stop For lunch.

If you want a big and juicy burger with steak fries this is the place! We love coming to Spliffs every time we are craving burgers. Last time we both had the wake and bake burger with a side of fries and Mac and cheese. The burgers were delicious and cooked just right! The fries were not too thick or greasy, I would say the Mac and cheese needed a bit more seasoning but over all it was

Great service and food! The Thai Sticks appetizer was delish with the apple slaw garnish and Szechuan dipping sauce! I loved the Born on the Bayou Chicken sandwich and fries. Rico was an awesome bartender/server with tons of mixology knowledge. Highly recommend!

Yum and Yum chicken mac n cheese! Cozy just right bat with all you need to hang and enjoy. I recommend!!

Hubs & son love wings. I do not. They're messy, and I don't usually like to eat chicken skin…read more Bonchon may have changed my mind. Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

I ordered their cinnamon roll, and it was so yummy (and I'm a stickler for a good cinnamon roll)! I also ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Texas toast with hash-browns. The sandwich was great, but will I say the hashbrowns were just OK -- I'll probably go with the country potatoes next time. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience I would definitely come back. *I didn't get a pic of the cinnamon roll, but, trust me, it was good!

The overall vibes were casual in a nice way -- nothing too aggressively themed, just a good and bright breakfast spot. Our server, Bonnie, was friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a hodge podge of breakfast items: eggs over medium, hash browns, cheese grits, a waffle, and a blueberry muffin split and grilled. My mom got an egg sandwich with grits and vegetarian sausage (yay!). Our food came pretty quickly, and I hoovered up everything on my plate. Everything tasted the way you'd expect: just good breakfast food. The hash browns had a crisp top, which is vital for me. The malted waffle stood out the most; I could smell it the second our server walked out of the kitchen with it and I ate the whole thing, even though I frequently split a waffle and take half home for later. The muffin was good, but a special shoutout for the option to have it split, buttered, and lightly grilled. I immediately requested my mom start trying that with her own blueberry muffins next time I'm over. It's a little pricey, but what isn't these days? It sure hit the spot.

We ordered the samba plate, which allows you to pick any 3 meats, so we selected picanha (cooked rare), shrimp, and sausage. Unfortunately, the steak ended up being closer to well done by the time we made it back to the house, but I think that's just the cost of taking steak to-go, and not necessarily the fault of the restaurant or chef since it's natural for it to continue cooking inside of the styrofoam box. Temperature aside, the flavor and quality of the meat was great, and you receive a very generous portion for the price. Along with the samba plate, we ordered steak fries and empanadas. Although the steak fries were pretty plain.. basically just steak plopped on top of fries, they were delicious, especially with the creamy herb sauce that is served with them. The empanadas were ginormous, and I like that the dough almost flaky rather than being super thick. We were very pleased with Brazilicious and will definitely hit them up again next time!

They have a nice menu with a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings, fries and onion rings, and Fountain drinks and milkshakes!! But I am so limited in what I may eat, that I had to ask for a plain hamburger and grilled mushrooms--cooked on a space that that was freshly cleaned off on the grill. I was so wrapped up in explaining this to very patient counterlady McKenzie (I believe) that I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato. When it arrived at the table--brought singly out by Fernando (I believe)--I realized that I hadn't asked for the lettuce or tomato and I mumbled that to myself. But, I did not ask outright!
