Communication was often rude, aggressive, and intimidating. When my dog approached 6 months, the breeder began contacting me repeatedly, 3 times a day, via email, phone calls and DRIVE BYS regarding the spay requirement they spring on you only after you already paid them and met the puppy. The volume and persistence of the contact escalated significantly numerous phone calls per day, emails, and unannounced appearances parking in front of my house. On several occasions, I was followed while taking my dog to the dog park. Due to the intensity of the situation, I rushed to have my dog spayed earlier than planned. I also contacted the police because I did not feel safe. After the procedure was completed, the car parked in front of my house with a disturbing and intimidating appearance and demeanor driver missing teeth stopped. I fully understand and respect contractual agreements. However, harassment, intimidation, and surveillance are not appropriate or legal ways to enforce a contract. The experience was stressful and frightening, especially as a parent with small children. My experience not only crossed those lines, the puppy has several health issues at only 2 years of age, showing painful patella issues and most recent of unfortunately he may have some serious brain damage and mandibular problems too which we'll uncover the specifics pretty soon after several thousands spent in vet visits and surgeries. We scheduled an appointment to see some available puppies she had online that weekend. At the appointment, she brought out three different schnoodles we were interested in. The one we ended up choosing was Snowflake. She was a 13 week schnoodle. At first when Ashlee brought Snowflake out, she was very shy and timid. But that's to be expected from meeting new people for the very first time. Slowly Snowflake opened up and she was so sweet. We ended up buying her that weekend, but we were not prepared at home for Snowflake. Ashlee offered to keep Snowflake for a week so we could buy all the necessary things for her! So kind of Ashlee to offer. We came back the following weekend and picked up Snowflake. Ashlee was very knowledgeable and informative of all our questions. She also mentioned that their team is available to us for the lifetime of the dog! They also provided a very detailed handbook for us to review, and it was so helpful. When we brought Snowflake home, she was shy and scared but that's because it was an unfamiliar place. Snowflake was already litter box trained and did so well at that at home too. She eventually started to open up. Snowflake is now 16 weeks and is the sweetest little girl. She learns so quick! Ashlee also mentioned her dogs are very aware of the word "no." Snowflake picked up a lot of things very fast and is very into words of affirmation. We also just had her 16 weeks vet check up and Snowflake is a healthy puppy. We couldn't have asked for more. Ashlee and her team are always available. Whenever I had a question, she would respond within minutes. I felt very secure knowing we had a puppy from someone who has been in the breeding business for a long time. It was updated a few times as I was shopping. This is great as you get to see the pups, parents, development as well as availability. The facility it self is very clean and all of the puppies are well maintained. I was initially asked by my vet "if the breeder seemed to know what they were doing" and I was able to answer confidently YES! The puppies were well groomed and bathed, and all taken care of . Nicole was very kind and responsive throughout the whole process. No question is unanswered, and she is honest about the puppies available. I can't thank her enough for the care package she sent us home with and the care she has for her litters. Even down to a "welcome home" package that really hooked us up. She really cares about the puppies and the homes they go to. This means a lot to me!! As far as the puppy I got, she is a dream. She was not been the best communicator before we purchased our fur baby. Her website says that the best way to contact her is via text, but before securing our puppy, she would take a long time to answer our questions or simply not answer our text messages in the amount of time she said she would. Once our puppy was selected and paid for, Cherie answered all our questions and sent us pictures whenever we requested them. 2. We paid $1K and our puppy was projected to be 4-5lbs max, but he is already 6lbs at 4 months. My husband & I do not care about his size too much, so this did not bother us as much and we are not looking for a partial refund, but I could see why this would upset customers who were expecting a very small dog. We asked Cherie how much he weighed when we picked him up and she said "about 1lb." we weighed him when we got home and he was actually 2.4lbs at 8 weeks, so we knew he was not going to be 5lbs max. Obviously, there's always a risk when purchasing a living creature because there is no way to know %100 everything about their health, personality, etc. With that said, I do believe good business practices are important and I am sorry to read that others are not happy with their situations. Cherie probably needs to outline her policies in black/white regarding health guarantees and refund policies. I would still recommend her to friends/family because 90% of our experience has been amazing.
