When I checked in, I was told they had to "start over" because he had an accident in his crate, and at pickup, rather than offering advice, the groomer yelled across the parking lot that my dog was "wild" and suggested I sedate him before his next visit. Puppies deserve positive first experiences, not criticism for acting like puppies. Since then, he's had four grooming appointments elsewhere and has done remarkably well, confirming that the issue wasn't my puppy--it was the lack of patience, professionalism, and customer service.

My son brought our Bernadoodle in to be groomed, and they convinced him that he was matted and required a summer cut. My son reluctantly agreed, and they completely shaved him. To do a summer cut requires no finesse in grooming, and they charged me $189 for a cut that took less than 15 minutes that is no different than a farmer shearing his lambs. Here is a picture of what matted hair looks like, and pictures of my dog before his summer cut. If you look at his summer cut, check out his ears and tail, you can see they did take the time to brush out. Which means they were too lazy to accommodate us. I also pointed out to them that when I brought him there last year, they were accommodating to my request of a trim and could pull up the record on their system. They made the excuse that they couldn't do it because their system was in transaction mode. I question their integrity because they used to list the prices of the services they provided. Now they can subjectively name their prices. I expressed my concerns, and this group of employees quickly dismissed me, saying my pet was a big dog, therefore it cost more, no bigger than my Huskies, which I paid far less for grooming. If you have experienced this type of customer service, stand your ground and demand that they meet your needs/desires for your pet's grooming. What happened to that friendly family atmosphere?

She took her back, and they prescribed steroids, but they didn't help. She returned, expressing her frustration, and by this point, she was desperate to find a solution for her puppy's condition. Instead of collaborating with her and potentially suggesting some ideas, the doctor seemed uninterested in understanding the issue. When my daughter asked him what they could try, all he could say was, "Well, you can." He offered no suggestions whatsoever. My daughter even suggested a biopsy, which he had recommended during the previous appointment, and suddenly, it was "well, we can." Naturally concerned about her dog's well-being, my daughter returned, and they prescribed her Metoclopramide. However, this made her worse. She became lethargic, refused to eat, and slept excessively, acting completely different from her usual self. Instead of trying to diagnose the problem, they seemed more interested in masking the symptoms. As a result, we still don't know what's wrong with her. I believe that when they see my daughter, they perceive her as a young child, which is why they treated her differently. I would strongly advise against visiting this vet. These veterinarians don't care about the animals or their owners; they're just there to make money. They don't want to put in the effort to figure out what's wrong with the animals; they simply want everything to be easy. I feel that since they couldn't figure it out, they didn't want to deal with it anymore. The last visit, my daughter also asked if she would still be able to be spayed even though she's been vomiting. The vet proceeded to tell her yes, she doesn't have to tell them that she's vomiting.

It was extremely important to us that Buddy was comfortable in HIS home feeling secure, safe, cared for, loved and not abandoned... this is exactly what Val gave us and Buddy! We did our research and read almost every review. Obviously, searched and read about many pet sitters but we kept going back to Val. We made arrangements to for Val to come over and meet our boy and us. Buddy is a little cautious around people, but Val was very warm, patient and engaging with Buddy and he warmed up right away. Val asked a lot of questions in regards to what Buddy's and our needs are... what were our expectations. It was a very comfortable meeting and we knew before she left that Valerie is who we wanted for our Buddy. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made in regards to Buddy's care. Val was very flexible and even came over early the day we left so we could all hangout together for a couple of hours prior to our leaving... that way Buddy wouldn't be anxious or feel abandoned. While we were gone Val would text me... sending us pictures and videos daily of Buddy. We could see by his actions and how he cuddled up next to Val... we could see how great our decision was. Val always encouraged us to text her and responded right away. Val kept daily track/records of Buddy's walks, his medication intake, his eating amounts and anything else she felt we might want to know. Buddy is 9 years old and this was the first vacation that we've taken without him that we didn't feel guilty and had total peace of mind. Obviously, Valerie is our girl when it comes to our precious Buddy... without hesitation. If you are in a similar situation and need a responsible person who will take great care of your fur baby... Everything went so well she was in minimal discomfort after surgery, her incision healed beautifully.The cherry on top of the experience is the over 1000 dollars I saved by bringing her here instead of the local Vet that quoted me a starting price of 1300 dollars because she is a brachiocephalic breed and could have gone up because they said if challenges arose they could not guarantee the price.
