What an amazing game - the Spokane Indians vs the Vancouver Canadians - May 7th, 2025 . Wow. Exciting - this was a home run derby. I have never seen a ball in my lifetime of watching baseball. A balk, then a second balk in the same inning , the same pitcher one pitch balk, ball, then. Lakes a run In - the go ahead run. It was mind blowing. A nice stadium- easy to get in to. The bathrooms are in the middle of each end. It's easy to get around, the only thing is if you are not familiar the staff to help out really didn't know. It's all good. I tried to find the seating online - it wasn't easily found for me. That's ok though. It's an easy layout and there is good seating in the whole stadium. There seems to be good seating everywhere. What a fun experience! First time here and it was princess night and fireworks! I wish that we lived near a minor league team because the cost and homey feel is great. In between innings there was some competition or game to entertain the fans. The mascot is a trout that comes out and does a move that looks like it is spawning. It's creepy. Other than that, a good time and beware that there are bleacher seats that weren't clearly marked on the tickets, maybe. Friend bought the tickets and we were surprised by the location especially when there were plenty of open seats. It's uncomfortable to sit in the bleachers at my age. read more

I didn't want to give up a chance to see a game at this minor league field. The game was packed full of fans and many of them were children. The ticket price, food, drinks, and gift shop prices were very reasonable. The Los Angeles Dodgers former player Ron Cey was there signing his book. read more

Tremendous staff, food vendors , security This was my first visit to a ball game ,the grounds are beautifully kept ,most of the seat are comfortable single seat chairs but there are some bleachers ,ticket prices are reasonable . food and drink prices are resonable for a sports complex. read more

I have been a fan for nearly 30 years (OMG, am I that old?) and my love for this team, their facility and their staff continues to grow over time. I'm very happy they now play a full season (they used to be a short-season club). Summer would not be complete without them. It's probably one of my favorite things in life. Nothing beats a beer, a german dog from longhorn, and a fun night at Avista stadium on a warm summer night. My ONLY complaint is that there is no sauerkraut for the hot dogs, either at longhorn or stadium concessions. Minor, but how do you have a german dog without kraut? My only concern... and please God don't let this happen... I have stopped watching MLB because they have been pushing woke politics. While i would consider myself a political person - I have no interest in having any politics of any kind while watching a baseball game. Please, Indians... don't go down that path. I saw that there was a "pride" night at the ballpark this year, which is completely unnecessary, as Avista is already a friendly and inclusive place for every race, creed, color, gender or sexual preference. We truly don't need special promotional nights for different socioeconomic groups at the ballpark. This is the woke politics of division, and it needs to stay out of sports. After going to the Spokane Indians game, you would think that America's pastime is alive and well, baseball has room to grow, and minor leaguers are paid good salaries. The Spokane Indians were sold out the day we went to the game and sold out many prior games where the cheapest ticket price is $20. That's more expensive than going to the White Sox game. I suppose that the White Sox try to rip you off in other ways like charging $25 for parking, while the Spokane Indians parking was free. I think we noted driving in that parking was $5 but there was no one collecting. I grew up in a culture of major league baseball and haven't had many minor league experiences. It was interesting to see how many people in the stands knew the players names and were shouting them out for one reason or another. The fans appeared to be really invested in their team. There were also fans wearing gear for other minor league teams, like they were specifically minor league fans rather than major league fans. It was a fun game to attend and we left around the 7th inning, in the inning in baseball when everyone has seen enough batters swing and miss. read more

We were just at bark in the park, and up until tonight, they decided to throw our food away (2 froyo yogurts and a pop) before we could get back from the dog walk. Keep in mind our food was with our stuff, an this shit isn't cheap, they need to pay back what they threw out without permission. I'm not made of money and I don't waste food, but apparently they do. I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my dessert. Next time they need to wait to throw away peoples belongings. I want my money back. read more

I have lots of good things about the spokane Indians games & the venue (Avista stadium) however I canceled my remaining tickets for the season and requested a refund for inappropriate song lyrics being played..... even after I called them months ago and asked they change the sound bit or omit it all together because they play only an excerpt from the song 'Sweet Caroline' & it basically it's promoting molestation. Yes... the play just this: "One, touching one Reaching out, touching me, touching you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good" And "Reaching out, touching me, touching you Sweet Caroline Good times never seemed so good I've been inclined To believe they never would" Without the prior lyrics for context they blast through the stadium You touching me & me touching you! Super well run and efficient! Ticket sales, buying a hat, getting a hot dog or just asking for directions... the staff is AMAZING! Friendly and so happy to help! The "store" has the BEST selection I've ever seen at a minor league game!! I spent way more than I planned b/c the styles were just that good! There is a sideline game between most innings, they have incentive activities like "golden ticket hotdogs" and a dollar off batter.. I just wish I lived closer! This really is a family friendly kind of activity. There is the kid zone for keeping kids entertained and fun baseball for those of us a little older but young at heart. You can tell that this is a well run organization by the cleanliness and friendly section leaders. The county and team ownership continue to put $ back into the ballpark with continuous facility improvements. If you want to take the family, or just yourself, out for a fun and relaxing evening this is a great place to do just that. One star shy of greatness due to continuing concession organizational issues. They still struggle with organizing food delivery, especially on busy nights. The concessions stands are new and I'm guessing it may take some time to adjust. read more

The family friendly confines of Avista Stadium create the perfect atmosphere for children and adults alike. I have attended Indians games since I was a young child and they always bring back wonderful memories and sitting in the stands with my grandfather learning the game of baseball. I bring this up because it is incredible the improvements that the Indians have made to the fan experience over the years. It feels more like a high end, Triple A park, (which the Indians were for many years) than small town short season single A. The concessions are less expensive than the price you would pay at any local movie theatre with a solid variety of snacks and more complete meal items. The staff are always friendly and smiling. The mascots are fun and entertaining. As a small business VP, I can't neglect to mention that the corporate packages for hosting events and other functions are top notch as well. Overall, you simply can't find a much better way to spend a Spokane evening. read more

We come here for Corporate events, beer fests, and games. I can't say I have every had a bad experience. Parking is unbelievably easy and free! Staff has always been friendly. Not a huge fan of baseball, but we have always had fun. As others have said, $1 night is a good deal. Food is mostly ballpark style stuff. They usually have some decent beers available. Overall, it's a pretty inexpensive way to spend an afternoon or evening. Oh, and the beer fest is a must do! read more

Great stadium with lots of parking, clean restrooms, several concession stands and a small gift shop. We had really good seats to watch the game and got to see a lot of the Star Wars characters walking around (since it was Star Wars night) and take pictures with. Food and beer are pretty expensive but you're at a ball game what do you expect. The seats were a bit to close to each other and there is no room to move around anyone in your row at all so don't bring a lot of stuff with you. Other then that this is a really nice ball park that is surrounded by beautiful mountains. read more

I have been a pro baseball, football, basketball cameraman. i have been a 5 sports radio producer in NYC and Houston Texas, San Diego , California. I have gone to one or two boring Spokane, Indians games. The game is as bush as pro sports can be. I am trying to decide which is harder to sit through. A Missoula, Osprey or Spokane, Indians game. The food is unhealthy and overpriced. Why would I wanna feed my child hot dogs on a white bread bun and have him drink soda loaded with sugar or aspartame? Yeah, thats teaching kids healthy habits and eating. Then you have fans who are sucking cigarettes in non smoking areas outside the stadium. Pot smokers in the parking lot. Yeah, That's appealing! Then we have the game itself, Most of these players have a ice cubes chance in Needles California of making it to the Major leagues. The team owner is charging up to $20 to sit in uncomfortable seats and watch many players who are not that much better than a college baseball player. Also, there is a "fee" to buy a ticket. That is hilarious. I realize i am not in NYC Yankee Stadium or the World Champion Houston Astro's Minute Maid Park . I am in a very old and out dated uncomfortable baseball park watching the lowest level pro baseball players compete against opponents who come from towns I never heard of. read more

Daughter and I had so much fun taking in a game here and added bonus the Indians won! Nice that there is plenty of parking and then an easy walk to the stadium. We purchased our tickets the night of and got really good ones. Just off home base on the third base line. Ticket seller was super friendly and made us feel like we were part of the Spokane Indian family even though we had never been before. In fact, everyone who worked at the stadium was friendly. Maybe it's just a Spokane thing. Even the beer concessionaires were great. They learned everyone's drink of choice and made sure to circle back about the time that you would be just finishing the last gulp. The food choices were pretty much your usual baseball fare. I ended up taking the Mexican option. It was pretty tasty and hit the spot. We loved the spirit and vibe of the players, crowd and employees. They had lots of fun games between the innings and fun characters dressed up. read more

This stadium is A-OK. Look above the ugly advertiser banners in the outfield and you'll catch a nice glimpse of the green hills of Spokane. The stadium is positioned so that you're pretty much out of the sun after around 7 pm. Plenty of parking. I really enjoyed watching the Indians play. read more
