In the past, Lilac Lanes had been pretty good your groups. We regularly utilize the Kids Bowl Free program for our low income, underprivileged students and families, which is a really cool community opportunity. Unfortunately, all three days that we brought our groups this year (2024) staff were irritated with us from the start, short and snappy with the kids and our staff, and all around unwelcoming. The kids were following all the rules too, being respectful of other parties and bowlers, and not misbehaving. I (as an adult) even got the brush-off when asking for help from the front desk. And before anyone says "maybe they were frustrated with an unannounced, large group". I called the week before (which is what Lilac Lanes requested of us) and let them know the size of each group on each day and our time of arrival. Nobody is perfect, and yes, all people have off days. But a smile and some patience can go a long way in making the kids' read more

Been bowling here in league for several years. Eddie (Mgr.) and Todd (Ast Mgr.) are always pleasant and extremely helpful. The alley is always clean and well kept, have never noticed any odor except from the kitchen and that's good. The food is well prepared and delicious especially the nachos. Service on the lanes can be a bit slow except on league nights. The alley pattern is a long medium with med to heavy oil, so the average bowling alley setup. You won't be disappointed giving Lilac Lanes a try. I haven't tried the casino so can't honestly comment there. read more

I live in the North of Spokane .. and this is THE bowling place I go to. I have been to the one at South Hill (Hugo's I believe) but that was nowhere near to our dear Lilca Lanes :D And love their fried food (never thought I would say this for a bowling alley) especially with the buttermilk ranch :) Also, if you haven't been a part of the cosmic bowling night .. you are missing something. Went for the first time to play Blackjack, because we had gone to Northern Quest but they only had one Blackjack table and it was full and we didn't want to wait that long. The "casino" was outside in a big tent thing? Not sure if that's just because of COVID or something but it striked me as kind of odd. But nevertheless we went in. There was like 5 tables, all very close together. Didn't check IDs, that's a new one. They didn't have a regular blackjack table at the time but one of the dealers started it up for us. The dealer was super nice and friendly. We started with $50 each and both lost every single hand except one. I've NEVER played that bad, and I've played a LOT of Blackjack. We were out within 5 or so minutes. Don't know if I had bad luck or it was rigged, I'm very familiar with 21 and so is my boyfriend so I was surprised to see the dealer get 3 blackjacks and us lose literally almost every single hand. The bowling looked really cool though. I'd probably return for that but I gotta say I probably won't go to the "casino" again. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING! Lilac lanes offers a "Pizza Bowl Special" on their website. We tried to go on a Sunday night and they were completely full, before the special even started. We tried again to go today, but, because of league nights they refuse to honor this deal. When asked if they could honor the deal at a different time of day they simply refused. They made no attempts whatsoever to be accommodating. Offering a special on a league night is misleading, please take the special down or change the times so your customers are not frustrated! read more

The workers were super rude when they didn't bring our fries out for 40 minutes. After asking for a refund because we were leaving soon. For some reason, the worker checked the time multiple times to try to tell us we hadn't ordered the fries that long ago. Do not reccomend the service but the fries tasted good read more

Lilac Lanes has a very pleasant looking light atmosphere. I took my grandson bowling. The man at the desk was very nice and helpful. We bowled two games and then my grandson wanted to play pinball. We had to go to the ATM in the casino for cash, since I didn't have change. Then, we got quarters from the desk. My grandson and I had a good time. read more

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and there was a senior league going but there were still open lanes. the staff was friendly and helpful. The scoring machines were easy to operate and the lanes seemed to be in good condition. The only down side was the pro shop which didn't seem to be staffed so it was hard to get answers about cost of personalized balls and shoes. read more

Poker room is garbage! With the exception of a couple really cool card dealers, the floor person in charge is a big piece of crap! I won a poker tournament, well I agreed to chop it as long as I got more money than the others, because I was the chip leader by a long shot. The dealer says take the money out of the other 3 players winnings. The floor boss doesn't want to do that work, so guess what.... 1 of the 3 people paid me. Sour taste in my mouth and that's the last time I'll play poker there. read more

While I've never been bowling here, I love coming to the Lounge, for some decently price drinks and food. Its my go to for cheese fries, becuase of the awesome gooey nacho cheese! Heard the nachos were excellent, but got the shrimp basket instead. The seasoned fries were excellent, and shrimp was the big ones, and very well also. Usually, most places have strange flavored starter sauce, but this was pretty plain and perfect tasting. 5 stars all the way. read more

Latley whenever my friends and I come to bowl we call ahead of time to make sure it's open bowl. Their websites event calendar is never updated it seems so we can't rely on that. Now it seems we can't rely on their staff that answers the phone either! We called and were told it's open bowl at the time we said we wanted to bowl....we then come in to bowl and they inform us that we barely have time to bowl because a fundraiser was starting. Why wasn't that stated on the phone when we asked if it was open bowl? We wouldn't have come if we had known we wouldn't be able to bowl for very long! I normally would shrug this situation off but it's happened the last 3 times we've tried to come bowl! Not only that but when we share our frustrations they always have a sorry that's too bad attitude! Like it doesn't matter their staff isn't conveying the correct information to customers!!!
