I hired this company and they sent me Daniel and Albert. They quickly and effeciantly moved one freezer to my parents and my freezer back to my house in under an hour. They were pleasant and I will definitely use them again. I was surprised that they were able to move in less than a day's notice, too. The office stay were fabulous and I received a quote that was extremely close to what I ended up paying. I had called 1.5 months prior to moving and when I called back they still had my information and we scheduled my move date. Dylan and Richard were very courteous and on-time. They treated all of our items with great care and were conscientous of time. They were very communicative of when they would be arriving and cared to make sure they covered any/all items needed. Call anyone but them!! I'd give them a zero if I could!! Working with them was a FIASCO from start to finish. They changed the insurance option to downgrade it (on the sly). They sent the wrong sized truck and had to dispatch as second one - that went to the drop-off location instead of the pickup location. Workers were lazy and slow; it was as if they never moved anyone before! They had no idea how to load the truck or how to get anything done. The buyers of our house were furious we weren't moved out until after 7 pm (from a 9 am start on a 2 bedroom house that was completely packed and we needed to be out by 3)!! They then charged overtime for slow work and dispatching more people to help. Unloading was a complete disaster! Bad attitudes, banged up our house, THOUSANDS of dollars in damaged items, we found handles to our dresser thrown into the grass in our front yard! The owner never did apologize! Instead, he took a piecemeal approach to deal with one item at a time until he wore us down to a point where we couldn't deal with him any longer. We had to fight to get anything replaced, A MONTH to get a new tv - because he wouldn't write us a check. Instead he found the cheapest source and made us wait for them to deliver it! It took over a month to get our items repaired and we had to have their "contracted handyman" at our house for an entire day! We still have damaged items too numerous to count but it was easier to eat it on remaining problems than deal with them. My great grandmother's china is ruined - but because I was out of their 30 day window to remedy the situation (because they destroyed the china cabinet and it took weeks to get repaired so we couldn't unpack it in time) so we just are living with it. They should be out of business with this kind of service!! And after all of this, NOT one offer of a a refund - either!! Run!! Or do it yourself - you couldn't possibly ruin your own belongings worse than they will!! read more

Stay away!! Thousands of dollars in damage to our items, as well as our new house we were moving into. We have used them twice and they are very sly. They only send 2 movers and one van, and when it becomes very apparent that, after 4-6 hours of them moving at a snail's pace, that they won't finish, they'll call in more help and another truck. Now you are on the hook for a higher cost, surprise! They did this on both of our moves with them, although on this one they sent the 2nd truck to the wrong location, so that was a new twist. They destroyed two couches, an heirloom chest, bookcase, TV, gouged our new floor, damaged walls and trim, the list goes on. They were so disinterested that they left our living room couches upside down on the floor still wrapped in shrink wrap and took off. The owner took great effort to drag out fixes as long as possible, having to rely on his "vendor" (a guy with a tool box) as an excuse. On top of everything, the owner never once offered an apology. That would have gone a long way with us but he couldn't be bothered. We are still finding damaged items 2 months later but are too exhausted from the nightmare of dealing with him that we are just going to eat it. After this we are advising all of our friends in real estate, and friends and family that are thinking of moving to use ANYONE BUT them. Be afraid. read more

There was an issue with my move and this company specifically Two Men and A Truck and the Spokane Valley branch. Issues stem from lack of communication and not being informed of important fine print and exceptions. My field of expertise is not moving and this is my first experience using a moving company. The first issue was not being provided a delivery date/time of arrival when scheduling. The second issue was not being provided a phone number to reach the delivery operators after my items were pick up to inform them of information or changes. The third issue was paying for the insurance with no deductible on the busy moving day and the asterisk print section stating that "particle board construction is NOT covered per Washington Regulations." This insurance was offered to me the day of the moving and was a part of many forms to be signed with me missing this statement/asterisk (lesson learned). This is my first "professional" moving company experience and I was not aware and did not know what particle board is in comparison to wood or other furniture materials. I would have appreciated (and honestly expected) a dedicated moving company to point out items of concern or at least educate/make aware to customers concerns in furniture/items/or materials. Damages thus could have been avoided if a company educates or informs customers of items of concerns prior to the move. It is not the company's legal responsibility, but it is expected that a company with expertise in a field and who have used these terms to educate/or inform customers in good faith. Two Men and Truck in Spokane Valley failed in this respect. In short, Two Men and A Truck Spokane Valley fell very short of my expectations for the price and services provided. I am extremely disappointed in this company and their communication and services. It is a lesson to be cautious when selecting a moving company and to research others especially when there are so many choices. read more

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Two Men and a Truck to exchange a large sofa from my basement for a new sofa to the basement. They phoned as they were on their way...and arrived ahead of schedule which was most appreciated! They were courteous and extremely careful, and very efficient in navigating both very large sofa's up and down a narrow stairway. We moved to Spokane Valley from Central California. We got in at night. The next morning, unloading our UHaul into a 3-bed/3-bath townhome seemed like an impossible task, so we started calling around for help. Two Men and a truck not only answered: they offered a slot for that afternoon! Their rates were competitive with other companies we talked to, who had no same-day availability (especially due to summer high-season), and they were so helpful. The movers, Cody & Eli, contacted us prior to on-schedule arrival. They were extremely professional, and very careful in unpaid technique to ensure ZERO damage to not only our items, but the property itself. They made quick work of moving us in, understanding how exhausted we were from the move itself. The entire process was easy, convenient, and helpful. Cody & Eli also made great conversation with us about our move, and about the area (which we were unfamiliar with, being new transplants). They also offered a quote to come back and dispose of all of the boxes they saw we were accumulating in our garage. The office reviewed what we were charged for the unload, and corrected it to lower the price, which means this is truly an honest company. We highly recommend! read more

We were quoted $150 an hour, a Veterans discount instead of the normal $165. We were thrilled that they honor Veterans!!! The movers showed up at 8:30am and worked until 10:45am. The movers were great!!! The bill on the other hand, they start charging when they "leave" their location. From their shop to the old house is 12 mins, and from the new place to their shop is 3 mins. They charged us 3 full hours at $165 (45mis of drive time that was actually 15 mins). When we noticed the over charge we called to get it corrected and unfortunately they told us "that conversation never happened, no one ever heard the quote of $150". We had been quoted this price multiple times by multiple people. We only went with them because of the Veterans discount. So, I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!! They lie and steal money in my opinion!!! Horrible business practices, taking advantage of a disabled Veteran. read more

I had a large move booked, they sent two trucks and 6 men, it went way over the estimate until I had to send them home without all of the beds put together. They were extremely careless with the hardware for the beds. All of the hardware for ten beds were mixed together in a zip lock bag. When they left they said that my kids bunk bed was done, it turns out they lost some of the screws, so they left half of them out on the ladder, which promptly broke in half when a child tried to climb up, they left the safety rail off the top bunk, and put it in the closet. They weren't able to get a sofa out of the basement, they scratched and dented our new washing machine. And broke several other items. I noticed two damaged items right away, and they made it right by refunding some money, which is why they got two stars instead of 1. But they seemed more focused on speed then being careful. The crew worked extremely hard, but they were reckless and dangerous. read more
