The receptionist was NO help and did not offer any help which is really uncharacteristic of how people act in this neck of the woods. I went to the Emergency room last Friday d/t experiencing signs of another small stroke and having complete numbness in forearms/hands before the episode...the hospital sent a referral for me to see a neurologist at this place - I will keep the name of doctor anonymous. The Emergency Room referral however was not enough to get an appointment because they are so clairvoyant - they can access your symptoms and out of state chart and decide you are not worth seeing w/o a referral from a Primary Care Doctor...and I will not be able to see PCD until December. Until then I will go pound sand, oh no, I won't do that, that really hurts. Thank you so much...for Nothing.

Office staff have a cost me a tremendous amount of time; they don't do what there say they're going to do, don't do what the doctor tells him to do, so I have to makes tons of phone calls to get things taken care of that should have been taken care of by them. They have cost me time in seeing my doctor because they don't do what they are supposed to. (And when you are dealing with a medical matter, time is not something you want wasted.). The office manager (I think?) did step in once and fix things when the MA messed up, but given the number of times they have made life harder for me, that one time does not save the clinic. I'm shopping for a new doctor.

I had a very long labor with complications and when I finally delivered I had 2 doctors, 4 nurses, plus 3 from the NICU team in the room with me. My son was immediately attended to and taken to the NICU. After this experience I would never have my baby anywhere else. We were both very carefully monitored. The staff on the maternity floor was wonderful, every nurse was truly exceptional and a couple really made a difference in my stay.

She unfortunately fell while playing with her siblings and bit a large gash into her lip/cheek with her teeth. The ER doctor said that the procedure would be easy and successful. However, the two sutures that they put in were completely gone within 3 hours, leaving the wound open and painful for our daughter. My wife called in for medical advice the following morning, but all the nurses she spoke with said that the stitches immediately dissolving was totally common and happens all the time...which begs the question of why would they put us through all of this in the first place if they knew there was a large probability of it not actually working/doing anything? At least why wasn't my wife even warned of this possibility? Our daughter and my wife, were both extremely traumatized from the experience, the drugs/needles they used and the pain that our baby went through, basically all for nothing. Then, they billed us for multiple hours of Dr time, when the Dr was in for about 5-10 minutes. Dealing with the appeals branch of the hospital was just as painful as they did no real diligence into our situation and took them months to respond...

I wish I would have followed the initial referral of my doctor, as NW Ortho has either gone way downhill or just don't have the staff to handle all their patients. I was suppose to go to a doctor, Timothy Powers. I never did meet Dr Powers, the the initial appointment I saw a PA. This was ok but he didn't really explain my x-rays or discuss anything else with me. However when I got the second notification for my appointment it was with another P.A. Still no doctor, not even an introduction. I called the office manager and let her know I'd like to discuss my condition with the doctor my appointment was made with (Timothy Powers). She basicallty told me, without any explanation or policy discussion, I was out of luck. So I went in and talked to the second PA who told me I probably had a pinched nerve and needed a MRI. Fine, I go get the MRI that detailed several spine changes, including several bulges and effacement of the cord at one level. When they called me to come back for the results, the appointment is still with the PA. To be clear: I have no issues with PAs, often preferring a PA to the doctor, ONCE CARE IS ESTABLISHED. Frankly, I am still wondering why over the timeframe of 6 weeks, I never saw one doctor. Does Medicare and the insurance still pay the "doctor rate"? It just seems like extremely poor patient service and care with no explanation from the office or the business, I won't be going back! By the way, total patient face time with both PAs was less than 8 minutes per visit.

I wish I could give 0 stars to this establishment. Dr. G is flat out the worst doctor I've met in…read moremy life. I'm dealing with brain cancer and have a rare nerve condition in my face. My doctor referred me here to see if they could have a different outlook on the pain management. My first appointment we arrived early as requested by the staff. I filled out a few pieces of paper then waited an hour to see the doctor. Not reading any of the paperwork I filled he starts asking me questions I've already written for him. I see the doctor for less than 2 minutes, he hands me a cup to pee in and says "I'll see you in 3 weeks" My second appointment we arrive early, and again wait an hour to see the doctor. Dr. G enters the room and starts talking about headaches. I said, "I'm not here for headaches I'm here for facial pain." He starts talking about taking over my pain management from my PCP. I asked, "what are you going to do to help with the pain?" Dr. G suggests that we put a nerve blocker in my temple where the nerve comes out of our skull. It won't work because the trigeminal nerve was cut at my brain stem! Why is he offering an invasive procedure that wouldn't even work? Did this "qualified" doctor even read my extensive paperwork? I can tell he didn't read up on my case, even though it's my second visit. He wanted to take me off my anti seizure meds!!! Um, he's not a neurologist and shouldn't be trying to play as one. I got angry and explained a nerve blocker won't work because the nerve was cut at my brain stem. He gets up an proceeds to walk out. No care, no empathy, no compassion. Upon leaving I ask the staff if there is a more senior doctor, or one well equipped to take my case on. The staff explains he is the senior doc on staff. This is very sad and scary for those who need help and are in pain. And, have to deal with arrogant, pompous doctors. Do not waste your time or money here.
