They work extremely hard to have us patients here feel cared for and heard. The CNAs who made my daily needs feel important such as Jessica, Kaya, Kalu, Gilbert, and Angela are amazing. Sean the main person over activities for the week helps to make every day of the week feel like there's some fun event that Will be going on. He helps bring a young experience to the nursing home to make it to where he said himself. If he had to send a loved one here he don't wanna make sure they're having a great time. Then of course, admissions team were amazing and very helpful with any need I had. Rich, the driver who took me to all my appointments, was very kind and helped make even the earliest mornings feel great.

My mother lives in Spokane Wa. My sister and I are from out of state. My mother does not want to…read moreleave Spokane. My mother got very sick due to Small Cell Lung Cancer. The cancer kicked off an immune response that caused her to suffer from memory Loss Mental Confusion and Seizures that nearly killed her. My Mother was recovering from seizures caused by a small cell lung cancer and was moved from Sacred Heart Hospital to Spokane Falls to recover. When my Mother was checked into Spokane Falls she had with her several personal belongings including a book shelve her portable stereo and her wallet with her debit card and ID among other items. She also had a Fall Risk condition which brings me to the first problem with Spokane Falls, their staff do not understand what "Fall Risk" means as my mother was admited with a Fall Risk Classification, yet staff consistently let her get out of Bed and move around on her own. She fell and got stuck between a toilet and the wall in her bathroom causing a trip by ambulance to Holy Family Hospital. While at Holy Family they had noticed my Mother had several fall related head injuries. She also received chemo treatment while there. After Treatment, Holy Family Transferred her back to Spokane Falls. However upon arriving back at Holy Family my Mother started having seizure again. Spokane Falls sent her back to Holy Family who eventually transferred her back to the ICU at Sacred Heart. My mothers condition declined to the point that she was removed from Life support and put into palliative care. My sister and I went to recover my Mothers personal belongings specifically her wallet with ID and Debit Card as she was dying. Unfortunately, this brings me to the second major problem with Spokane Falls, they lost all of my mothers belongings. They tried to say she took them with her but there are 2 problems with that story. First my mother was never in the condition to do so, Secondly she had way to many belongings to take on an ambulance .... There was no way they are going to let you load a book shelf onto an Ambulance. We checked with Holy Family, Sacred Heart and AMR ambulance service and none of them knew anything about my mothers belongings. AMR outright denied that the took on any of her items. We even visited the hospitals. We checked my mothers latest banks statement. She should not have a single transaction on it this year (She has been hospitalized or in a care facility with limited mental capacity since December 2024. Her latest statement has some large transactions on it. Currently we do not know if these are auto payments or manual withdraws. When this is over my sister an I will be getting the Spokane County District attorneys office, law enforcement, Washington state department of human services, and federal regulators involved. So in short if you truly love your loved one needing care DO NOT SEND THEM or LET THEM GET SENT TO Spokane Falls. Your love one will not receive adequate humane care and their belongs will more than likely get stolen or come up missing.

My mother opened an AFH in Spokane and we ended up taking care of my boyfriend's grandmother and ended up reuniting his father with his mother whom he had not seen or heard from in over forty years. It was one of the things that steered my final decision towards caregiving; making a difference and the unexpected soul-touching moments. I might just have caregiving in my blood as my mother was an LPN and my great-aunt an RN. I have worked as an independent contractor caregiver, in AFHs and through agencies and of all the places that I've worked throughout my time as first an NAC and then as a CNA I have to say my favorite has been/is "Home Care Assistance". It's evident from the start that they care about their employees as well as their clients and the managing staff in Liberty Lake are beyond amazing. They all need to be honored and recognized for their hard work; Tia and Amy and Jen and Brandie should all get an award for going above and beyond mere management duties. I wouldn't want to work for any other agency ever. I am really happy that they, and all the clients I've been assigned to so far, really seem to like me because I plan on staying on for as long as they'll have me. I Would Not Recommend TheKey Home Care…read more My wife has Alzheimer's, I have cancer, and we genuinely need dependable help in our home. Unfortunately, our experience with TheKey caused us more worry instead of giving us peace of mind. We had serious concerns about the caregivers assigned to us. I had reason to believe that one caregiver stole from our home, while another behaved in a way that I considered emotionally unstable. When a company sends someone into the home of a vulnerable person, careful screening, supervision, and accountability are essential. Based on our experience, I do not believe TheKey met that responsibility. When I was hospitalized for three days, a manager from TheKey helped arrange around-the-clock care for my wife. I appreciate that she was not left alone, but the resulting charge was nearly $4,000. That money was taken from my checking account and created serious financial hardship for us. I served in the United States Navy for 32 years, and the VA referred us to this company. I had hoped the VA and TheKey would provide safe, trustworthy, and affordable assistance. Instead, we were left with concerns about caregiver conduct, inadequate screening, and an expense we could not afford. My wife and I remain in serious need of help, but after what happened, we will not use TheKey again. Based on our personal experience, I cannot recommend placing a vulnerable family member in their care.

The medical equipment supplier was prompt and efficient, ensuring my father had everything he needed to be comfortable at home. It was a blessing to see how quickly and smoothly everything came together. This support helped me prepare for what I knew was inevitable. The nursing staff, Crickett and Mary, were invaluable. Their care, compassion, and thorough explanations on how to manage my father's needs exceeded my expectations. I never had to worry about reaching out for help--everything I needed was delivered immediately, and the support was truly outstanding, as well as many others I never met behind the scenes. When my father passed, Hospice of Spokane handled the arrangements with the funeral home, easing the burden during this difficult time. Also note that I have only missed 2 appointments in the last 3 years, both of which I was minutes late for and rescheduled at their office. Currently my 4 upcoming appointments, 3 being for my ruptured L5-S1 disc rupture. 1 being a new pcp consult I've been waiting 3 months for have now all been canceled and referrals pulled because this "man" is incapable of showing compassion and care for his patients and instead would rather retaliate in disgusting spite once a patient advocates for themselves. I had a referral to neurosurgery less than a month ago. Now every single referral for my SPINE has been canceled. Horrible human and PA-C in my experience. No one deserves to be treated with minimal care, and then abandoned once a complaint has been made.

I can still garden and cook (my 2 favorite hobbies), which frankly amazes some of my neighbors because of my advanced age and having to use a walker for every step. Dr. Williams keeps me out of a wheelchair, which makes my life so much more free and enjoyable every single day. After treatment, I always leave walking taller and more upright, breathing easier, more energetic and with a feeling of real wellbeing throughout. I couldn't recommend anyone more and don't even want to think about how awful I would feel without his gifted treatments. He does have a special gift of healing that astounded me from the very first day. He has excellent advice and wellness tips, and makes living with constant pain so much more tolerable.
