Enjoying tacos and beer = heaven
    Sarah D.

Such a chill place to enjoy craft brews and food when there are taco trucks right outside. Silly that I haven't been here before art hop in March 2022. Will definitely be back. Awesome to see they had a local brew on tap from Procreations Brewing on Fulton. Don't miss out on this part of Tower!

I had the cinnamon cider and it was yummy. This place is great on a Sunday night because this place does not close early like other places. Also the food truck parked outside is very good. The service here is always great. The ambiance is decorated nicely with different art work. There is also outdoor seating but there is plenty of indoor seating.

This updated review is overdue. Spokeasy has done great adjusting to COVID-19 and all the related restrictions. When everything first shut down, they were only offering beer to go and I was just grateful they were still selling craft beer. Then, when bars could serve alcohol if they also served food, they started selling sandwiches. Since this is Spokeasy and these guys don't do anything half-assed, these are craft sandwiches with quality meats, cheese and bread, unique spreads, fresh greens and just really unique takes on sandwich combinations. They have a standard Pizza Pals with pepperoni, mozzarella and homemade red sauce, but then there's the Mr. Crunchy, their version of a croque monsieur. Get ready a cheesy sammie with homemade bechamel sauce. My husband's favorite is the Gnarnia Business with lots of deli meats and cheese and fresh arugula which they can make toasty. My two favorites are the Poultrygeist , a toasty sandwich with Turkey, ghost pepper relish, and cheese and other good stuff, and Fughetaboutit or something like that which is a vegan sammie with garbanzo beans "salad", vegan cheese, arugula, and gardeniera. All of these sandwiches are sooo good. And I don't have to feel bad or guilty for eating out. There still isn't seating inside which is a bummer. BUT, they've made a little patio in the back that can accommodate 28 or so people socially distanced. Masks are required, of course, any time you are not seated with your beer&food.

Very good drinks here! Came out for a comedy show and stopped here for some pre drinks. Great atmosphere and super chill music playing.

Best spot for beer in Tower, hands down!!! Take in your own food, post up for lunch and enjoy the AC. They have a great tap list or a nice selection of bottles and cans in the fridge. There also seating in their outside patio. The beertenders are top notch!

A great night catching up with friends

I have been coming here for years now! Since it has only been open, I think for about 5 or 6 years, I guess I have been coming from the beginning. My brother in law lived right down the street, walking distance, so we always came here, and with my pup Bailey. They provided, snacks, water, have amazing beers on tap all the time, and it is just a blast to come here and chill, watch the game, play some games, get a drink for you put on the board, and have a good time with friends. I have come here for my birthday, for celebrations, for a beer take over. No matter what the occasion, it has always been a blast!

They only serve beer, wine, and mead, but hard liquor folks do not worry... mead is essentially the hard liquor of the beer world, but tastes way better and at 20%, you'll drink way less! Their taps offer local beers and an array of imports from all over the world. I also learned that they are one of two bars in the entire Fresno/Clovis area that actually serves Guinness on tap! During my visit, the bartender suggested a something unique; a mixture of two different beers. I cannot remember their names for the life of me, but one was a peanut butter scout mixed with a purple-ish beer from house of Pendragon. All that to say, it tasted like a peanut butter and jelly and was delicious! Gracie, my bartender, was super friendly and very informed all the beers and wines they serve here. Who doesn't love a friendly and info field bartender?! If you haven't been here in a long time or are looking for a new place where you can belly up to the bar, the Bog House pub is it, cheers!

The pickle pizza sounds unusual at first, but it somehow works perfectly seasoned well, tangy, and addicting. The fig and prosciutto pizza is my other go to because it has that sweet and savory balance that makes every bite good. Their crust is thin with a nice crisp texture that doesn't feel too heavy. They also have a solid beer and wine selection, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends or do a casual date night. The vibe inside is relaxed with mostly indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor seating available too and it's great when the weather is nice. The steak bites were really good. It comes with a creamy chimichurri sauce and a Sriracha sauce that is pretty spicy. This is something I would get again. However, there was no heat. I went with the sweet potato fries for the side because a lot of the reviews spoke favorably of them. It's still dark, with dark wood tables -- a very old-school bar in the best possible way. It had been so many years that I didn't recognize any servers, but the woman who served us was very friendly, prompt and attentive. We sat at a small table for two in the bar, and we each ordered a drink (beer for him, cider for me) and we split a full order of nachos. They also brought us water without asking which was a very nice touch. Our drinks were good (mine was in a can, so it was exactly as expected). Husband ordered a dark draft beer that he enjoyed. The nachos were good. It was a generous serving and we liked how the meat was thoroughly cooked and we also liked how the chips didn't get soggy. One thing we both noticed is that there was a real shortage of cheese on the nachos, and we both feel like that's a crucial nacho ingredient: we would have liked a significant amount more cheese. Prices were quite fair for what we got. Anyway... it was a real nostalgic trip into 'Stones and we enjoyed it: we'll be back.
