Our family of four, all adults, were visiting Vancouver and I wanted to go around Stanley park on bikes. Spokes was super quick to get in and out. I do think they should give a little bit more instruction. Some people in our group didn't know how to change gears and I had to stop and instruct them. We had a fantastic time going around the park. It was one of the highlights of the trip for me.

Very easy to rent a bike. Conveniently located a block away from the sea wall. You can just walk your bike down and jump on. Staff was fast and friendly. They provided a map, helmet, and basket (free of charge). They have a few different types of bikes, so think about which one you will want beforehand. I wanted the most basic, one speed, foot brake bike but they ended up giving me one with a hand brake, which was surprising once I got riding but it worked out. $18 for a little over 2 hours. They have a Yelp check-in offer. I would come here again the next time I want to ride through the park!

employees were so nice and in depth with info/ helping u adjust bike seat/feel comfortable. i got the original bike with no gears and i had no problem ($10.95 an hour i believe??) an hour gives u plenty of time to get a lap around the entire park + lake. my bike breaker well, smooth ride. BIKING AROUND VANCOUVER IS A MUST DO FOR TOURIST, would've bought more hours

Wanted to tour around Stanley park, but a 6+ mile walk wasn't in the cards. Saw Spokes online and walked in to rent a couple bikes. All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Made recommendations, provided us with a map and got us set up outside on bikes and adjustments. We were able to add a basket and a cell phone holder as options, but didn't really need it. Total loop for us over just over 7 miles and took 45 minutes (not including stops). Bikes were decent, some seem to have a lot of usage, but worked well for us. Cruisers were more comfortable, but slower.

Didn't need to book ahead, they have plenty of bikes. Well staffed, quick service. Without a reservation, it took us all of 5 minutes to get checked in and onto our bikes! Closest shop to Stanley park. You just cross the road at the cross walk and then you can hop right onto the seawall trail. Dropping off bikes was even faster! Would do again

Rumor has it Spokes is Vancouver's original bike rental shop established in 1938! These guys know their bikes and it's no wonder they are rated #1 in Vancouver. Conveniently located at the North West corner of West Georgia Street and Denman Street just a short stroll from the starting point of Stanley Park's bike trail. Once you arrive you will be directed to fill in your info on an Ipad or if you are a repeat customer you can head straight to the cashier. All rentals include a helmet, a bike lock, and a basket. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable to give you the best advice on which bike to choose to fit your needs. Once you made a choice a rental ticket will be provided and you simply hand the ticket to the awaiting staff outside who will help you set up you seat height, your helmet, and guide you on how to use the bike lock. After you've completed your bike ride for the day simply return to the location awaiting staff once again assist you in putting your bike away and you process your payment at the cashier counter. I chose a 7 speed cruiser and their rates are as follows at the time of this writing: - $11.43 + GST / minimum 1 hour and rounds to the nearest 15 minutes - $34.29 + GST for half a day (3 - 6 hours) = 3 free hours - $45.72 + GST for full day (7 hours or more) I rode around Stanley Park for 1 hour and 33 minutes and $18.00 all in was my bill. There are nearby shops with minimal cheaper rates, but when you factor in the service, selection and location Spokes stands out from the rest!

The people that work here are very nice, professional, and helpful. We rented two e-bikes and a trailer. They offered us helmets for everyone in our party. They hooked up the trailer and set us up to bike the Seawall which took about an hour and fifteen minutes. The kiddos had a wonderful time and we got to explore Stanley Park in a quick bike ride. Overall, I recommend getting the trailer if you have kiddos.

Spokes Bicycle Rentals exceeded my expectations and made our day at Stanley Park truly unforgettable! Because it was conveniently located just across the street from the park's entrance, finding the shop was a breeze. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff, who helped us get set up. The rental process was smooth and efficient, with a simple sign-in on an iPad, and a reservation at the counter. They offered a wide range of bike options, with competitive pricing. You are charged a minimum of one hour and then prorated every 15 minutes. There's a half-day discount (Up to 6 hours of ride time for the price of 3), and complimentary locks, helmets, baskets. Definitely check out their website and use it to plan your rental time/itinerary! We easily spent 3 hours in Stanley Park, and then another 3 checking out the downtown area. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for 10% off your total!

Conveniently located on the corner and right across the street from Stanley Park's entrance. It was very easy to see and find from the number 19 bus going to Stanley Park. There are many bicycle rental shops nearby but my husband insisted on renting from Spokes because they had such good reviews. Their service was fast, friendly, and hassle free. As soon as we walked in, they had us sign in on an iPad. We were then helped at the counter. They were so efficient that I forgot to take a picture of their pricing and bike options. Anyways, there are many bike options to pick from. All the bike rentals come with free helmets and locks. They charge a minimum of 1 hour and then it's prorated every 15 minutes. We had our bikes out for 1 hour and 59 mins and so we paid $22 for 2 hours. Returning the bike was just as easy as renting the bike. In fact, there was an employee waiting for us as we crossed the street. We took our ticket in and paid. That was it. Tip: if you check in on Yelp you get 10% off your bill.

We found Spokes on Yelp and apparently they are quite popular! You get discount if you check in on Yelp. They are conveniently located right at a spot where you just ride shortly and get to Stanley park right away. Everyone was friendly and they had a variety of bikes for rentals. Definitely would come back to rent with them again if I was in the area again!

I pre-booked online half day rentals and even discussed with them that we can pay hourly up to the day rate if we go over. Half day ended up allowing us to cycle twice around Stanley with a stop for lunch in the park, then around false creek to Granville Island, spent a short time in Granville before taking an Aquabus back to Hornby street which is straight back to their facility. The bike path is directly outside of their shop, so absolutely no concern navigating our way through the city from there. We rented 2 e bikes and 2 street bikes (for those not 16) & all that biking was fairly easy to manage with one big hill coming up Hornby the street bikes walked. We also used them for our luggage storage while we rode and that was sooo nice!!

Awesome bicycle tour of Stanley Park!…read more I had an amazing 3+ hour bicycle tour with Zack around Stanley Park. As a history major and as a Vancouver native, his knowledge of the park's history, plants, trees, animals and the indigenous people was vast and interesting. Everyone in our group was engaged and appreciative of all the sights and sounds during our tour. There were even people not on our bike tour who listened in on what Zack had to say. The bikes were outfitted with a pouch to carry wallets, keys, phones, and small cameras and or binoculars. There's also a cage for water bottles. We often stopped to see notable landmarks, sculptures, and monuments. For the nature enthusiasts, Zack showed us blue heron nests, Beaver Lake and forest. Everyone enjoyed learning about the various trees (we even spotted a woodpeckers!) I highly recommend this company for a bike tour of Stanley Park!
