Would definitely recommend renting your bikes here if you're looking to ride around Stanley park! Compared to other bike shops in the area their prices are cheaper. They offer regular bikes, hybrid, e-bikes and even e-scooters. The staff was super friendly and ensured the bikes were just right before leaving. They offer complimentary helmets (they make sure it fits right, they have smaller and bigger helmets), baskets, and I believe locks (double check we did not ask for these). Their bikes are a little older and with more wear to them but a bike is a bike and for the price you can't beat it. We got 2 of the regular bikes for 1 hour and 50 minutes and only paid $24 CAD. Pretty much meets your Stanley Park cycling needs in about every way. It's about as close to the park as you can get, and even the tiny bit of distance to the park is accessible by a bike lane (Alberni St.) that's right alongside the store. They were busy when I arrived, but I get the sense that they always are and have managed their capacity accordingly - both in terms of inventory and staffing. We didn't have to wait for service and there were plenty of options to choose from. I came with my family of 4 and got a choice of bikes for each person. I'm 6'3" and had a couple options for taller bikes, my wife had plenty of choice for hers, as did my 10 year old son. My 7 year old daughter can ride well, but at the risk that she would get too tired halfway around the 10km loop around the park, we decided to get the 'trail a bike' which is an attachment with an additional wheel, pedals and handles that connected to my bike. It hinges trailer-style, so it can manage turns better than a tandem bike (though those are available too and quite popular with couples). The staff was good to provide her full attention in setting us up, providing safety and seat height checks and ensuring we were comfortable before heading out. From the website and glancing around at the store, there's a bunch of choice from city bikes, hybrid and some of the others I mentioned. They also have e-bikes AND e-scooters which seemed to be extremely popular. Any doubt whether this deserves 5 stars is erased when you consider that I paid less than $50 before tax for all 4 rentals for a 3 hour period. $8 for the first hour includes your bike (road/ mountain), a helmet, lock, and basket. Your next rental hours are charged at $1 less each hour, so your 2nd hour will be $7, then $6, etc. This is the perfect location to grab a bike for a ride around Stanley Park along the seawall. A quick ride down Alberni St (2 blocks) and you're there! You can reserve ahead of time online, but they also take walk-in's. For a walk up, be sure to get there before 11am or so. We came at 9:30am on a Wednesday and the shop was steady. By the time we got back at 11:30am, the racks of bikes were pretty much empty. They only really had roller blades left. Staff was super helpful with adjusting our seats so that we were comfortable. The ride around Stanley Park was glorious! We made some stops and even locked up our bikes and back tracked back to the totem poles at some point. We took about 2 hours to ride around the perimeter. Bikes held up nicely. I've never rented a bike from a shop before, but my friend said ours were in very good shape (she has seen way worse). Drop off was a breeze -- we left our bikes with someone outside and paid with someone at the desk. Not a bad way to get around Stanley Park for only $15! read more

Massive shout-out especially to Hamed the manager, who ended up driving us from one location to the other AND giving us a discount! Since the timing didn't work out at the Burrard location, we reserved our e-scooters at the Denman location and caught a lift from Hamed since he was going there anyway to check on operations. The rental itself was $25/hour and pro-rated, so it ended up being ~$35 after 1.5 hours. Not bad at all considering other locations charge $45 for the same amount of time. We were quickly set up with our helmets, and given a quick intro on how to use our e-scooters. The staff also asked us our route, so they could point us in the right direction to start. When we got back, Hamed was still there and we made sure to say our goodbyes and thank-yous to everyone for their friendly and efficient service. If you've never been e-scootering before, then look no further than Yes Cycle. Best way to see the beautiful city of Vancouver is by renting a bike. A bus driver mentioned about popularity of rental cycle near the Stanley Park, I had to try. I didn't have reservation. Not sure why I chose this one but walked in and asked about rental. A staff was friendly with nice smile, decided to go with them. Rental process is easy. They have iPad set up to electronically process your rental and enter your credit card information there along with other details. Once credit card is processed, they gave me a helmet and bike lock. Stepped outside and another staff set up a basket and adjusted the seat. I ended up renting about 3 hours and had a really great time cycling at and around the Stanley Park. Return was easy. Pricing starts at $8.50 for the first hour, and then each subsequent hour drops an extra dollar (e.g. the second hour would cost $7.50). So the longer you ride, the cheaper each hour gets until you hit the day maximum of $40. Otherwise, rentals are rounded to every quarter-hour. We rode our bikes around the seawall for a little over two hours, which cost us each $17.63. All of our bikes were in decent condition with working brakes and gear switches. Loved rending bikes from Yes Cycle! Finished up our trip to Vancouver with a GORGEOUS bike ride around the Sea Wall (more on that in another review). Yes Cycle is conveniently located right by the entrance of the sea wall, and they have tons of bikes to choose from. If tandem is your thing, they've got that. They also have your regular single bikes, too - you can choose either sporty or comfort. You can rent a basket to add on to the bike, which I'd recommend to store your bag and water. I haven't ridden a bike in years, and it was such a great way to see the beauty that is Vancouver. Rentals are affordable, too. It was about $20 for a 2.5 hour bike ride. We rented bikes twice during our vacation! There are bike rental places on every corner but Yes Cycle is closest to Stanley Park so this very convenient, as you don't have to cross any major intersections to get to the park (only one minor stop sign and you're in the park). PRICE: The longer you rent, the cheaper it gets per hour ie: $7/hr, $18/3hr. Daily rates avail too and they bill by the 15min increment too (so if it's 75min, you don't pay for the full 2hrs). You leave a blank credit card auth, and they shred it when you come back. What's great is you don't have to tell them how long you want to ride, just take your time, and come back when you're finished. Both times we rented the bikes, it was just under two hours. We had kids ages 7 to 70 years old and they have bikes and helmets for everyone. They have a baby seat you can pack your kid if they're under 45lbs. They have training wheel bikes, attached carriers, tandem bikes for adults, and the tandem attachment where you can put a kid bike on the back of the adult bike. They have baskets too so don't forget to ask for one to hold your stuff. My daughter is 7 and she wanted to ride the 2 wheel by herself. When we took the route towards Coal Harbor and Canada Place she was fine. Paths were big and not too crowded in the morning. On our second trip we did the Seawall route around Stanley Park and the paths are narrow, with lots of bikers (doing it for their workout, not for the scenery) who will overtake you on the narrow pathways and this freaked her out. There were even some parts with two way bike traffic on the narrow path, which is when she freaked out and decided she wanted to walk her bike back. (But you know I made her ride back right?) She wants to go again today but she wants to ride the tandem so she doesn't have to steer or brake. Staff here is excellent. I never rented a bike from anywhere else but I would definitely come here again. Make sure you follow the signs and stay on bike paths and obey the rules or you will get yelled at by other bikers, rollerbladers, and joggers. read more

If you're thinking about renting paddleboards (or bicycles), Yes Adventures is the place to do it! For $38, you can rent a premium paddleboard - life vest, dry bag, and paddle all included - for two hours on the water. This is probably one of the best deals I've found in the city. Kevin, the GM is so wonderful and accommodating. Either he or one of the staff members drive/bike your boards to the beach and will set them up for you to make sure you're good to go. He can also give you some pointers if you're a first-timer or if you're looking for a specific paddle route to take. They also meet you back on the beach to pick up the boards. You can also pay for your rental before or after, but I'd recommend paying beforehand so that you can lay out on the beach after you're all finished. They also offer SUP lessons and guided tours, which is great if you're a first-timer. I'd rent boards + bikes from Yes Adventures over and over again! read more

TLDR: Went on a pretty magical bike ride with a group of my friends. Make sure you get some water before you head out on your ride. ___ While in Vancouver we had two objectives: eat and see nature. While we couldn't go anywhere super far for the nature fix, we were able to get it on an incredible bike ride along the sea wall. The 5 of us hopped on our bikes, with a bottle of water in our baskets and hit the road. We stopped various times along the way, but the most memorable were: Totem Poles - these were incredible and made for some great photo ops. Light house - a nice little look over spot. A brightly colored lighthouse, with landings on either side to just take in the breathtaking views. Lawn by the cruises - we took a little break to sit in the grass and just stare out at the water by where the cruise lines dock. The breeze was nice and it was a nice little break. The beach - towards the end we came long this nice beach with huge logs as benches to sit - plus some gnarly stacks of rocks. I wonder if people just continuously add to this collection of stacked rocks? Ultimately this is one of the most memorable things I've ever done on vacation. It was about $20 for 2.5 hours around the sea wall. I really recommend it for anyone in town - or even locals that haven't done it. Very easy and quick to fill out waiver forms on their tablets. Very reasonable prices. Excellent equipment, carbon paddles are super lightweight. So convenient that they bring the boards down to the beach for you, put the fins on for you, and off you go! Can't beat the view of the sun setting at Sunset beach. Getting bikes to ride around Stanley Park was one of my favorite activities when I visited Vancouver. Yes Cycle was conveniently located right next to the path that you take for the Stanley Park trail and the trail is about one hour - it's absolutely beautiful! It only took about 7 minutes for the entire rental process - we told them what we were looking for, filled out some simple contact information, picked our bikes, and were on our merry way. I think the prices are extremely reasonable as it is $8 per hour. They included helmets as well! You pay when you come back as they will charge your extra time in 15 min increments. Since we came a bit later and were not locals, we were afraid we would not return the bikes by closing time so I made a phone call into the store to check in with them. They had told us that we only had 30 minutes left of the trail after telling them our location and they offered to wait for us if we were a few minutes late. I really appreciated that generous gesture and they were happy when we made it on time and safely back to their store. Overall, really enjoyed their hospitality and their kindness. Looked and compared the prices and inclusion of helmets between couple places and ended up settling with Yes Cycle. It was easy to locate, Google Map took us right to the location. Parking is underground behind the shop. Rates are fair and charge by 15min after the hour. Mountain bike is light, good brakes and tire maintenance. The park is super busy on the weekends and bike trail is busy too. It is worth it to go around on the bike, very cool in the summer with the ocean breeze and a lot of shade. Now here's what they don't want you to know, you don't need an ebike to do Stanley park loop. It's mostly flat and very easy to do in 1hour with no stops. If you are going to other parts of the park or the city an Ebike will be more helpful. read more

My girlfriend and I did a lot of research and this place was the clear winner. They had the most reasonable prices and no hidden ads one which has always been a pet peeve of mine. The person that helped us was great and took a few mi items to explain things to us including some of the local laws as we were not from the area. The bikes were cruisers and they were in decent shape but they were a bit clunky and I feel that they probably needed a little TLC that they may have been missing.
