Bike shop near Stanley Park that has not only bikes and e-bikes but also includes helmets, locks, and cargo baskets if you want at no additional charge. Hope got a regular cruiser and I got one of their e-bikes to try out. Both bikes seemed practically new and rode well. I'd never ridden an e-bike before, but I enjoyed the J725 bike I was on. I think it had a 48v battery with a 500w motor and a cadence sensor. It's also really heavy but I only noticed that when I tried to pick it up. The e-bike was fun but totally unnecessary for Stanley Park- there was one steep but really short hill and a longer (but not really long) incline. I probably had the pedaling assist on for less than 15 minutes total during our three hour ride (most of which was spent stopped at various scenic stops, not riding), and perhaps 5 minutes of that was where it was really useful. It's a great way to try out the e-bike experience though, at least for one with that kind of sensor. Service at checkin and checkout was quick and helpful. The person showing me the e-bike seemed new though, he did a good job of showing me the e-bike features but didn't know whether it had a cadence or torque sensor. He also forgot to show me how to work the shifters, which turned out to be the trickiest part of the bike, I had to ask after I went up and down the alley next to the shop and couldn't figure it out. Cost seemed pretty reasonable once you factor in the included helmet and other accessories.

Quick service, fair prices, great bikes. 100% recommend. We rode around Stanley park, grandville island and all over town with charge to spare. Best part is you pay when you return so you can spend as little or as much as you'd like.

Amazing service! Great variety of selections to choose from! Great value with $7 bikes for rent! Though, when we went to go take pictures of the shop a man loitering outside the shop came up to us claiming we took pictures of him. It was gross and he got weirdly close to us. Totally freaked our group out for wanting to recommend the shop. Other than that customer service was amazing and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

First time at this SC location…read more I was completely impressed with my entire experience. The store modern, big and bright, with the best merchandising I've seen in a long time. When I first walked in, I was greeted with a smile by a girl working at a welcoming station at the front. I asked where men's shoes were, and she showed me, but also informed me that a sales associate that was in our vicinity could help me. Perfect ! I knew exactly what I needed. I showed him the item on my phone, he looked up the product # on his handheld and off he went to get it for me. He quickly reappeared with box in hand! The shoes were exactly what I wanted and they were on sale for a really great price. I went to the cash area, where there were a few people in front of me. I didn't have to wait for more than a minute or two before it was my turn. The cashier was also smiling and friendly. She showed me how to maximize my points on the Triangle App, then I paid and was on my way. This was a really great shopping experience with customer service that goes above and beyond.

This is a raving review for Reza specifically -…read more I rushed into the store literally 30 minutes before close frantically looking for literally any snow gear that could fit me (it's difficult and I often have to shop in the Children's section). Reza is a champ and immediately got to work. He went through the entire store and pulled so much for me and was so incredibly patient even as I started becoming more picky with the options. While helping me, he was also impressively attentive with another couple who seemed to be last minute shopping as well. Generally speaking, I was really pleased with all of the customer service through out the store. From the moment I walked in, to the check out process on my way out, everyone was super pleasant, even considering the fact that they were officially closed at the time I was checking out. Highly recommend in the Vancouver area for the service alone! Thank you again, Reza and Team!

Of the many board shops in this area I walked into this one first. I was coming from out of town…read moreand looking for a whole new setup including a snowboard, bindings, boots and bag. When I walked in I felt out of place as most beginner snowboarders probably would feel. It just looked like a small, cramped board shop to me but compared to the other places, I'd take that over the stuffy, boutique type of shops the others seemed to be. Jess at West Coast was very helpful asking me questions to better hone in on what type of equipment would best suit me. She was super informative and didn't pressure me to commit to purchasing anything. In fact, she even told me to go to the other shops in the area to compare equipment and pricing. Pretty ballsy but it made me feel at ease right away. I went to all the other shops and no one made me feel comfortable about being there. Very few questions and assistance. Instead it almost felt like they were uptight because I may not have looked like a typical snowboarder. Needless to say I went back to West Coast and bought the lot, about $1500 worth of equipment. Then I put it to use going up to Whistler the next four days and loved every second of it. The board (Bataleon Goliath) performed great and my feet felt perfect throughout every run. Lastly, I would've given them 5 stars but the person helping my girlfriend with her ski boots was unknowledgeable and not a very big help to her. If you do go to this place go see Jess. There was another Aussie guy behind the counter that was giving his input and helping me out as well but I didn't catch his name. Mahalo, K

We did the entire 'snowboard alley' of W 4th and this place had by far the best deals. Not only were the prices better to begin with, they also carried more classic styles and colours in jackets and pants that suited my friend's fashion tastes. The staff were really helpful picking out a snowboard that was a great price, European-made and would last him for years. The graphics were pretty sweet, too. The board was freshly waxed and they set it up with the bindings in-store. In addition to already low prices and some sale items, the staff cut my friend a deal since he was buying a bunch of gear. It was the cherry on top! This shop also has non-snow-related sporting gear on the second floor.
