My son and I were in the mood for Poke in North Everett and Umami was highly rated on Yelp so we headed there. We each got a bowl with 2 proteins. I found it interesting they had an base option of spring mix instead of all rice. One option was half sushi rice and half spring mix so I went with that. Interesting and surprisingly good. had the spicy salmon and spicy tuna and had spicy snow craw as one of my toppings. My son had a similar type. We each ordered one of their teas with hour meals. I had the Mango Milk Tea with 50% sugar and my son had the Matcha Bubble Tea with Mango Jelly added as a topping. Overall, it was delicious. Came in yesterday excited to have a poke burrito. I got the snow special burrito. It wasn't packed super tight so the burrito kinda fell apart, but that's ok because it was in a wrapper. I was happy until I saw a small white hair in my food, so didn't eat the rest. I also had the boba and the pearls were pretty stale. I also think not enough powder was added because it tasted like bad water with taro flavor. I ended up having some stomach problems. I used to frequent this place at least once a week and sometimes more. In the last few visits I had noticed the restaurant had become quite grimy looking and the staff wasn't as friendly as it once was. I'm not sure if there is new management or even a new owner because I had been coming here since they opened and over time it has really gone downhill. My experience there last night was and will be the last time I will ever be back, especially since there is so much competition and better Poké restaurants in the area. They advertise on their website that they close at 8:30 but when I walked in at 8:20 they told me that they were closed and that they always stop serving at 8:15. I noticed that the food was still out and I told them that I had driven from Lake Stevens so could they possibly make an exception and was told a firm NO and they said they even kick people out of their dining room at 8:15. I let him know that it was horrible customer service to turn away a customer before their advertised closing time. Unfortunately the two male employees were very happy and even smiling as they turned me away. Advertising a false closing time is really bad for the customer. All of the above led me to find a much better Poke restaurant on Everett Mall Way last night. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and I was greeted by employee with a smile that was eager to help me. It's a bit longer drive for me but well worth it, both the food and service was SO much better. read more

Came here after hiking Oyster Dome last Tuesday and I was so hungry I don't even remember tasting my food cuz I inhaled it so fast! After my first few bites a sudden realization hit me that I ordered the regular size instead of a large :( sadness took over and yes I did contemplate on ordering another one to make up for my mistake but the hot girl summa in me told me "no, don't do it". This place is freakin amazing. I love that north Everett has a poke bowl joint close to marysville. I prefer the poke bowl over the sushi burrito. The sushi burrito can sometimes get messy, so I like to get the bowl. They have great topping and the price is right. The spicy tuna and shrimp tempura are my go to proteins for my bowl! Support your local businesses! This place is super close to Everett Community College, right next to a teriyaki restaurant. The place is pretty small and they have social distancing protocols but don't really enforce them, so I suggest ordering online (first time orders can get a free house special bubble tea, found in the coupon section of the website). We got 2 regular size poke bowls (2 protein, 3 toppings) and a (free) house bubble tea for around $22. The spicy tuna is pretty spicy, which we loved, but if you can't handle a lot of spice, just get regular tuna and spicy Mayo on top. Their scoops are pretty small but I guess they do charge less than other poke restaurants. With that said, I just got the mixed greens as my base and I was still pretty full off of that because of the toppings. Will definitely be back for a cheap and quick meal! read more

If you're ordering poke for take out/pick up, i recommend going into to the place to see and pick your poke. Some items looked fresher than others; how i ended up picking my choice.
