Seriously, if they cant get two brand new bikes working, heaven help you if you brought them in one that was actually damaged to fix. I asked them to follow up with Cannon, the manufacture, but that was like a month ago and still no follow up. My riding season is off to a great start...not, thanks for nothing MEC.

Offering up used or new options and walkingbua through pros and cons of different models. Very helpful and easy going, with stock that seems to turn over very very fast ( and 3 times in days looking for items and there were new options available on each visit!) Silly questions won't bother them, they are accustomed to it. Prices are very reasonable and they take trade-ins of your old gear. At least they will take their used gear back the next day or the next season if you want to trade up or get a different size. Then you will only pay the difference and help support the store with renewed stock, a very cool idea! So there you go - no excuses when someone says, 'Let's go skating!'

The staff were very helpful, gave good advice and recommendations. They have a good amount of choice and gear. I'd say if you didn't know exactly what you wanted while you may not be lost, its not easy peasy. Their prices are competitive with other places and even the large box stores. The one thing I find could use a bit of improvement was ability to get help. They seemed busy that it's tough getting help. They should notice the lost customers immediately. But when you do get help, they devote their attention to you and don't get distracted easily.

I had to ask another employee to find the one working in that particular section to unlock the changing room door. The employee that came was apologetic, as she was on the far side of that section. When it came time to pay, there was one customer at the counter talking through something with the cashier, and it seemed like it would take a while. When I asked another manager (tall guy with glasses) about return policy for goggles on sale he had zero customer service and unapologetically said under no circumstances (I wanted to buy them and take them home to ask my wife what she thought). They carry top of the line brands and will have an option for any size, price point or specialty request. The customer service their is marvellous. Everyone is super personable, understanding and willing to help you the second you walk in. They gave me a really good price on a new mountain bike (close to $500 off), gave me a great discount on clipped peddles and threw in almost $100 dollars worth of other accessories. All bikes come with a long warranty backed by a few of the best bike mechanics in the GTA (in my experience). Repair times depend on the mechanic you get but 95% of the time the repairs are super fast. I've never had a problem remerge or not be fully fixed after taking it there. They have everything a veteran rider, beginner cyclist or anyone in-between could ever want and more. They sell bikes (of course), biking attire (both loose MTB gear and aerodynamic lycra), any kind of bike part, bike maintenance things, turbo trainers and so much more. TLDR; Trust me and go to this store for any of your biking needs and you will not regret it!
