Velorang is easily appointed to fix any bike job you've got. No matter if it's an easy brake adjustment, quick tune-up, detailed tune-up, or even a major fix, the folks at Velorang know exactly what's up, they know the score, and can get your bike back to you in no time. Seriously, I took my bike in there for a tune-up at around 1PM one day a little while back, and the mechanic told me it would take a day or two. They called me back at 4:30PM the same day and told me my bike was ready to be picked up. Now, before I took that bike in, there were all sorts of problems; the gears wouldn't shift properly, the chain was all jacked up, and the brakes were loose, to enumerate a few. This bike came back perfectly brand new, spick-and-span-new as the day Marie-Crystal-de-la-Montagne was born. I thank and applaud the folks at Velorang for their professionalism and skilled workmanship.

I mean, the bike was fitted to me, as he kept saying. He really measures everything and every angle. My knee stopped being an issue within a week (!!!) and I have since returned for a small adjustment to my handlebars to try a more aggressive position. Amazing how much harder I feel comfortable pushing now that the knee doesn't hurt... I owe my cycling season to Pierre, so 10X cheers!!

And they told me to use a phone to call someone, and that someone forwarded me to their colleague, who is apparently a voicemail machine. The only better part about the second group is that they told me bixi doesn't exist anymore. Those were the highest rated places around. Well there was one more place nearby, so figured to give it a shot. Finally came here, and guess what? They .. rent bikes. $15 for 4 hrs. Very reasonable. Great bike, it was a Norco. Rode all around Mount Royal and it was a breeze. Brought it back, no hassle. Don't bother with the other guys, who may or may not have bikes and don't even know where to refer you. These guys will take care of you. They have lots of bikes and the guys seem to know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

I honestly think these people should not only be out of business but should be facing some sort of legal recourse. On the positive side these people did get me into learning how to repair my bike myself, because it was worse off (unrideable) when I got it back from them and I had such a bad taste in my mouth that I went to learn how to do it myself.

I got lucky since one of my neighbours had called him and she told me he came very quickly and was on time.
