It took several weeks and it was expensive but I get it that it's done by hand and takes time. When I went to pick up (they did call to let me know the boots were ready) they were closed due to illness. When I picked up it was clear the sole employee there was still sick so I stayed as far away as possible as they weren't masked and neither was I. The work looked okay - one pair had a tear in the heel leather. In the old days when shoes were repaired they would give a basic polish after the work but it wasn't the case here. The work has extended the life of both pairs and that's the point as they are well made boots expensive to replace, so consider the return on investment if you want work done.
