I used to love this store when i was a kid and they definitely have to best sporting goods selection in town. BUT, the past few times i've been in here one of the two owners either always has an attitude or are just complete assholes especially the husband. They've been arrogant and rude with me personally and I've witnessed them treat other customers poorly as well. I now refuse to shop with them, and I highly recommend shopping at their competitors across the street (Ayoob's) they are always friendly and go above and beyond for their customers and have the essential tackle for anything around the lake or hunting supplies . read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got fishing licenses and information on where to fish the first day. We went back the second day and got shirts, hats and water shoes. They have a great selection of Lake Almanor and Butt Lake items. read more

I left our sleeping bags and pillows at our house, and didn't realize until we were at Rocky Point offloading our camping stuff. Luckily this store was nearby. The couple was very kind and friendly, and I was able to buy exactly what I needed. I will definitely return if there is ever anything I forgot or need in the future. read more

Well this store is near and dear to my heart. I have been coming to this store for 43 years for all of my outdoor needs. I bought my very first pocket knife here while on my summer vacation as a young boy. The store staff is super friendly and I love all the recent upgrades to the store. Great selection of fishing and hunting gear as well as clothing for the ladies. Keep up the great work. One more thing there store stock is unbelievable. read more

We bought a fishing rod for our grandson. The rod was defective and a piece broke off after a day. I brought it back to exchange. The owners were belligerent and irrational. They claimed the rod did not come from their store. I showed them the receipt and they still refused to do anything about their defective merchandise. I advise you not to deal with this store. Been patronizing this business for over 40 years. When buying a ski rope, I asked the folks at the counter if the rope would float. They assured me it would, but it didn't. Two days later I returned to buy a different rope, however I'd misplaced my receipt. Despite me wanting to exchange it for something (likely more expensive), they told me they couldn't help me without a receipt. Really?? Small town. Small business and NO customer service. Fortunately, I located my receipt and they proceeded to scold ME saying that my expectations to exchange the item without a receipt were unreasonable and I was rude. I was upset, but definitely not rude. Even though I said they had to have remembered me because we'd even had a conversation about the rope, they claimed they didn't.
