The vibes at this bar has better customer service than the one next door. Unless Ro is working they are both are enjoyable.

We did not have a reservation, so we stood outside in the sun for about 30 minutes or so waiting for a table that could accommodate 8 people. I didn't plan the event myself, so I don't know if they even take reservations. If they do, then that's our fault. It is an open air concept, so it's very hot in the restaurant. You sit on hard chairs with a bicycle under the table that limits leg room. There is no shortage of hillbilly music to listen too as you dine on the ill seasoned subpar food. The beer menu sucks. Thankfully I didn't need to use the restroom. Who knows what I would have encountered there. The only positive thing I can think of is that the employees are friendly and accommodating. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor would I return. If the restaurant offered to pay for a meal with drinks for our family, I still would not return.

I'll probably remove this rant eventually, just thought ownership should know …read more I haven't been here in years. The remodeling looks great, but I miss the old bartenders. After a quick look around, I took a seat at the bar. The bartender had her back to me; I could see her texting, then switching to Instagram. A woman in a Christmas sweater greeted me before the bartender did and had to remind her--twice--that I was there before she finally put her phone down and acknowledged me. Bartender: Hello, thanks for waiting. How are you? Me: Thirsty. Bartender: What can I get you? Me: Bourbon and water, please. Bartender: What kind of bourbon? Me: The well is fine, thanks. Bartender: Jack is-- inaudible Bartender: Do you want a double? It's only $3.50 more. Me: No thanks. Bartender: You know, be nice. The bartender walks away to make the drink and immediately complains about me to her friends sitting directly across the bar. One of them rolls his eyes at me. Me: Hey, I was nice enough to wait while you were on your phone. Bartender: No, you weren't. I slide my drink back to her. Me: You can just give my drink to your friends across the bar. Bartender: I will. I walk out. The eye-roller stares at me as I leave. Acknowledge guests, stay professional, and don't complain about customers to friends sitting right in front of them. Promote the girl in the Christmas sweater. And if Eye Ball wants to talk about it sometime, we can meet elsewhere for a drink. My treat.

The interior wasn't very bright…read morebut you could see and there were a good amount of TVs to watch the games they were playing. I was seated quickly on this bar table thing (not the actual bar) and it was high up. The prices were pretty expensive at $12.50 for five wings, not including any sides/sauces. I came here on a Monday and got the Monday AYCE wing special. The AYCE made it more worth it but still a bit pricy at $31 per person. For AYCE, it comes with fries or tater tots, a sauce, 10 wings, and some carrots and celery for your first order. After that, you get 5 wings per refill. The wings were a good size though the skin wasn't really crispy or anything. I tried buffalo, lemon pepper, and flaming honey mustard. Buffalo and lemon pepper are my go to flavors but I didn't really enjoy any of the flavors I tried. There were an overwhelming amount of flavors so it was a bit hard to choose on the spot with AYCE but now I wish I tried some different ones. Our waitress was pretty nice and checked in on us a good amount. Overall, I felt like the food was just okay, and for the value made it less good. My rating is a bit higher because of the service. I might come back to try some other flavors since this is such an iconic San Diego chain.

We were seated by a woman who seemed mostly checked out. Not rude but didn't see to care much. Our server was nice and efficient. My wings came out five minutes before my boyfriends tenders came out. Never good. They need an expedited to help with this. The wings were solid good and the tendered were outstanding. That said $54 for some chicken and fries is a lot. And the 4-% service fee -well, you know how I feel about that. It's a rip and it should not be done charge more. Be honest. Now the cringe.... We were seated where you could see the kitchen window and soda machine. Yay! They always used the ice scoop. Well done. But then they picked up unwrapped straws from the top (where your mouth goes) with their bare hands. Not sanitary at all. The food is good if overpriced. The service is ok and the health safety aspects seem to be hit and miss.
