Never again! People behind the gun counter were rude, condecending, and stupid! Took exyra long to deliver product. CO says 3, they like 4.

I spent $400 in this store on a black powder pistol kit. Upon getting it home I proceeded to dismantle and clean it. In the kit I purchased , again for $400 was a nipple remover. The very 1st time I used it, the thing stripped out. The tips of each side of the nipple remover simply broke off thereby of course making it useless. So I called the store thinking they would not have issues in replacing a 10$ part for someone who had spent $400. The asst manager , who by the way is an arrogant smart mouth person with no regard to how the individual customer is treated. Upon letting him know what had happened and ask him to replace it. He began to quote " corporate rules" which if anyone else out there has been in this situation knows what that means. It's a bulls*@t way of telling you no. So me thinking the guy is being petty and if he realized that it would go public and that his bosses would find out, I told him I would post a review and write and email to corporate. The guy and I wish I could remember his name, but he did claim to be the asst manager. Anyway the guy literally started laughing and replies " I can give you their number that way to won't have to email them." Being a total smartass. Of course everyone will make their own decisions as to shop at this store. But as usual buyer beware. So Sportsman warehouse, P T Barnum himself would be proud of your business practices. As for myself I will never enter another Sportsman's warehouse again. read more

This store personnel are outstanding! They have a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, and they mean it!! In particular, I'd like to point out and thank Brice for his exceptional support this morning. I had purchased a Caldwell pivot bipod (attaches to a sling swivel stud on my rifle). That purchase was 3 weeks ago. The bipod failed in the field with the attch lugs separating from the body of the bipod - and consequently lost in the grass and other field detritus. I brought it to him and asked for a replacement if possible. He was committed to making things right for me. With no replacements on the shelves, Brice redirected to and highly recommend a Mag-pul version of the same thing. He truly wanted me to have a quality bipod for my rifle (as opposed to trying to repair the failed one). Brice commitment and that of the entire store team solidified my customer loyalty to Sportsman's warehouse over other local sporting goods vendors in town. The Firearms department is not minority friendly at all! I visited the store looking for an optic and browsed the display case. An older associate walked past me to help a couple standing behind my wife and me, who were not following any type of Covid-19 protocols. I stood there at an empty counter with 2-3 associates conversing amongst each other. I bumped into a co-worker(a caucasian woman) and asked her to get their attention and get additional information about the optic. She gladly obliged to help. Her presence had all three of the associate's attention, and were more than welcome to help. I felt embarrassed for the company for hiring associates that treat minority customers poorly. Long story short, I ordered the same optic from Frontier Arms instead. Sportsmans Warehouse Firearms Dept. is not minority friendly at all. read more

The people you have working at your gun counter are worthless. No wonder your store doesn't make sales. They don't acknowledge anybody at the counter. Their customer service is trash. Waste of time trying to talk to them about anything. read more

Very well stocked outdoors store for what you'd expect in a small town. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are about the same as anywhere on most items. I go here first before I start cyber shopping. read more

I came in and wanted to see if I can get some finger savers installed on my bowfishing bow and I was helped by Kyle in the archery section when asked if he could install them for me instead of telling me he didn't know how to do it he decided to make up A lie and blatantly lied to my face that they couldn't be installed on my bow because he would have to take off all the serving and it was basically impossible. I questioned the whole thing so I YouTubed how to install these and there it was. But hay thanks Kyle!Don't worry about it I got them on myself in 5 min. I think they need to get some pros back there or at least someone with common sense. Oo well. read more

Why do consumers buy stuff online, as opposed to supporting local business? ---Stood at optics counter for several minutes, several associates walking by, struggling hard not to make eye contact. In the past I've gone to customer service to ask for assistance but at what point does a store learn lessons from poor salesmanship? Want to make a sale? Then sell me the product. Avoid the customer - the customer walks out, sans sale. EDIT: shortly after posting that review, I visited a second time, in hopes the lack of sales associate attention was fixed, simultaneously prepared to address the matter with the manager. No further actions was/is needed. I assume this review was noted to sales personnel, as that following visit and every visit since, I've received quick and knowledgeable service. So, score changed from 3 to 4 stars. read more

If I could put less than one star I would. I have never been treated so terrible by the help. Rude inconsiderate and right down awful. We have done business with this store for 12 years. And always told everyone we knew to go there. Will not no longer. Husband bought rifle for anwversary gift put it in my name and the jerk behind the counter would not let me have because my husband bought it not myself. The staff knows their stuff. They will spool your fishing reel for free if you buy the line there. It can be a bit pricey, but it is because they carry the better name brand gear. They close way early, but open early. Wish they were open later though. read more

I went to the Cheyenne store this morning May 6th, 2019. I was planning on buying 2 firearms. The clerk ( An older gentleman with grey goatee)was talking to a friend who did not buy anything the entire time I was standing at the firearm counter. I ended up finally walking away and out of the store. I was planning on spending a bit over 2k...I ended up at $26.00. They also seem to have something against left hand shooters. There were only 2 types of holsters for left hand. I doubt I will ever go back. Very poor customer service! read more
