This is not a Magpul retail store! It's a factory with no retail sales on site. It is listed like a retail shop FYI

i had just gotten done reading some pretty negative and outright nasty reviews of RMGT. So, had i…read morebelieved any of these obnoxious screeds, I would have to grit my teeth and brace for the worst possible retail experience. After all, I was just there to do a transfer-- not a high dollar transaction-- to be sure. On top of that, the store was full of customers looking at an estate sale batch of Garands, 1903A3s,P17s and a couple of A4s.. Any sale to any of these customers would have realized maybe 99+ times as much as a firearm transfer. As Abraham Lincoln said, "You can't always believe everything you read on the internet." Boy was he right. I was treated to a smooth transaction by courteous employees. No grumpiness. No impatience. No surly behavior. No rushing or pushing. (By either me or the RMGT people.) I couldn't ask for a more perfect transaction or better treatment. Rereading again some of the flameout reviews, I saw a common thread of anxiousness and touchiness coming most likely from a desire to be acknowledged as being very much in the know about firearms or perhaps being less than completely in the know. Also, i think I detected some bruised egos. I detected no humility, reminding me of myself when I was learning that unless I actually knew lots about a subject, I should shut up and listen. RMGT and its employees don't deserve a bad rap. They are good people.

I had heard about Scheels for years but never stepped inside one. A friend of mine from Minnesota…read moreused to drive past the huge Scheels billboards whenever I visited, and for some reason I assumed it was more of a farm supply type place where people bought machinery and work clothes. Because of that completely wrong assumption, I never bothered to go in. Fast forward a few years and after reading the reviews here in Colorado I finally decided I had to see it for myself. Yesterday, March 6th, the weather was miserable. Cold, windy, light snow and rain. Not the kind of day you want to be outside, let alone skiing. So I figured it was the perfect day to finally give Scheels a try. I ended up spending five hours in the store and taking more than 250 photos, and this place absolutely blew my mind. There were sports and equipment sections I didn't even know existed. The store truly has everything you could possibly need and then some. What impressed me most was the staff. They were knowledgeable and helpful but didn't hover every five seconds like some stores do, which allowed me to really explore and absorb everything. The shoe selection was outstanding with every kind of running shoe, ski boot, work boot and outdoor footwear you could imagine, and the shoe staff were clearly well trained helping customers. I also spent about 45 minutes in the luggage section, which was surprisingly impressive. It's clearly a curated department run by someone who truly understands travel. I spoke with a luggage specialist who I believe is from Asia and a serious world traveler herself. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately understood what I meant when I told her I was tired of hard-sided luggage and wanted something built for an active lifestyle. She introduced me to a beautiful 100-liter Patagonia rolling duffel with durable wheels, strong zippers, and soft-sided construction that can actually handle real travel. These types of bags come with lifetime guarantees on the wheels and zippers, and now I'm officially saving my pennies to buy one. The store itself was alive and buzzing with families, couples, hunters, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere. The only section that felt a little thin was the women's golf apparel where most of the XS sizes were gone, while the men's golf section was very well stocked. Parking was plentiful and easy. Scheels isn't just a sporting goods store. It's an experience.

Colorado gifts, Denver broncos, nuggets, and avalanche collectibles. Hunting, fishing, guns, ammo, knives, barbecue supplies, a sportsman's dream come true. I was blown away by the customer service, kindness, and kindness professionalism of these owner-operators. I just wish it were a little closer to my house.
