After nearly three weeks with no communication, I called on April 20 at 10:31 AM and was told someone would check on it and call me back. Once again, no follow-up. At 2:50 PM, my son called and was suddenly told the part was in. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told the part "technically" wasn't my son's--even though it was the exact same item. The shipping label clearly had my son's name on it, and tracking shows it was delivered on April 15 at 3:05 PM. That means the part had been sitting there for five days with no notification. On top of that, I also asked about another part--a blower motor that was ordered back in January 2026. I was told my son had already picked it up. While he did pick up one previously, he had ordered an additional blower motor to have on hand. We have never been contacted about that order, have not received it, and have heard nothing about its status. This is unacceptable. The lack of communication, failure to follow through, and contradictory information is not just frustrating--it's poor business practice. Trying to claim the part wasn't ours when the label clearly shows otherwise only makes the situation worse. If customers are expected to wait, the least you can do is communicate honestly and follow through on what you say. This experience shows a serious lack of organization and accountability, and bad business practice

He was very helpful & knowledgeable. Everything was great. Then I went to the Geek Squad area to see about getting my old data transferred to the new computer. The fellow wanted me to leave it for 2-3 days. I said no way! When I bought computer direct from Apple in the past, they would transfer the data.....instantly right after the purchase. So, I left with both computers. If you're buying something.......get Melvin. Then if you need service go elsewhere.

I may be misspelling the name, but an employee by the name of Sydnee was so kind to help and immediately handed over a product employees in the department use, free of charge, to see if it would work! The wipe took the paint right off, but I was just more impressed by how thoughtful and helpful Sydnee was to just hand over the product. While it was such a simple act, it really stood out to me and I just wanted to take a moment and share that Sydnee was great.

From the selection, to the staff to the pricing. No complaints here. But alas, the oven stopped working as I went to pop in lasagna last week. UGH. My handy father-in-law checked it over-- the elements all worked, the stovetop worked, the back of it looked in fine order and your guess is as good as his on what is wrong. We had to bring in the professionals. I emailed Slagers (including when we purchased it, the model number, etc). They said the could fit us in and to give them a ring. We called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to fit us in Monday morning at 8AM. Huzzah. I was given an 8-10AM window and our technician, Nate, came right at 9AM. He was insanely knowledgeable and pleasant. He found the fix within ten minutes. He outlined the bill with me prior to leaving, as to ensure no surprised. Boom. Done. The appliance ownership that comes along with homeownership isn't always the easiest or glorious. They cost a lot and it's frustrating when something so insanely necessary for day to day life isn't working-- Slager Appliances has got you covered!
