Unethical business practices Miranda came to look at our house and gave us a quote for a deep clean +blinds. We approved this written quote. The crew came as scheduled and did a great job. At the end of the day we were charged over 60% more than the original quote. At no point was there a conversation or authorization for this additional charge. When Miranda was questioned about this, she had some excuse about her business expenses and Workers Comp. And that she didn't charge us for the hours she personally worked. We don't understand how someone who has been in business for eight years could be so far off on her quote. Unless it was intentional. We would never have agreed to have our house cleaned for the amount that she ultimately charged us. On another note, when asked how much it would be to regularly clean our house, she wouldn't commit to a price, but stated that it depended on how many crew she sent and how many hours they spend. However, she couldn't give a reason as to why it would be different from time to time. Unfortunately, trust had been broken. We weren't going to continue with her cleaning service due to the exorbitant amount she charged without prior approval or authorization. After all of this, Miranda then asked if we wanted to give a tip to the cleaning crew. We did add a tip because they did a fantastic job. We wish we would have checked Yelp and Google reviews first. I was quoted $710.01 for a partial deep clean. I was charged $839.98 for their partial deep clean, that was to include a regular basic clean. The floors were not thoroughly cleaned, the countertops still had grease, the microwave was still dirty, the front of the oven, the mirrors in the bathrooms, the french doors did not get cleaned, the list goes on and on of items not cleaned. You should also be aware that they do NOT use water while cleaning. They spray their rags with cleaning products and then wipe. I am beyond disappointed with the job that this company did. We hired this company to clean our rental house between tenants. We were misquoted twice. The first quote was miscommunicated to the cleaning staff. I was called and clarified what I needed done and they gave me another quote to finish the job. The job was still not done. After I expressed disappointment, the job that we had asked for in the first place was finished at double the original quote. I gave plenty of opportunity to make it right and have a conversation, only to be argued with via text when I offered a phone call multiple times. My advice: make sure you get your quote and expectations down in writing! read more

I asked to have my house deep cleaned bc I am expecting my second child in about a week; the girls came over and did an amazing job on our kitchen and downstairs with Just a few things were missed up stairs (very minor) and the owner sent over someone to complete everything even though it wasn't a big deal to me. Just a sad experience with the owner. Poor communication between their website, workers, office, and owner. I tried to explain that I was disappointed with the service and I didn't get what their check list offers for a deep clean. The owner explained that it was a priority list and not a check list. Even though it says it is a check list on the website. Depending on who shows up to your house will depend on how well the clean goes. One lady was AMAZING and the other... not so much. Owner was very rude and disrespectful. If you decide to go with this company, make sure to fill out their priority list. It's called a "Deep cleaning Check list." On their website. Windows and blinds are extra. I'm not really sure what that entails. I will say that I was offered to have someone come out and finish the job (within 24 hours) but I don't feel comfortable letting people in my home without me there. In short, in my opinion, there was NOTHING PROFESSIONAL ABOUT IT. I was really excited to see if it's really THAT different. Because of my ankle, I finally caved and decided I would allow someone to come to my Property and clean my home for me. Miranda was $75.00 an hour for 3 girls and multiple times she repeated herself by saying, "75 bucks for three girls, and if we do a deep clean, it includes EVERYTHING". She kept saying to me, "have you seen my reviews online!? I'm the best there is!" So now I feel really responsible to leave an accurate review of my experience with this company. I honestly think she has just been lucky up unto this point. I had the understanding that it was 75 an hour for three cleaners because that is what she TOLD ME. Only two came initially. The third did not come until 2.5 hours later. Miranda charged me for all three the entire time which is very dishonest. I paid for three when three weren't three until the last 3 hours. They didn't start until 10am. They took multiple "gossip breaks", totaling 40 -60 minutes of my time. Miranda also charged me for this time as well. I knew because I was present on my property. One of the girls had knowledge that her car leaks oil. I have several area all over my brand new black top driveway that are stained with oil from one of her workers. She had NO sense to park her car back on the Main Street INSTEAD of on my driveway. I chalk this up to pure laziness and disregard for my property. Totally unprofessional. My blue star oven, google it, they are basically an incredible investment for chef cooks, was terribly scratched by one of the cleaners. If you know anything about a blue star, it's basically like taking your Maserati to get detailed and someone scratching it. They are the Maserati of the kitchen culinary world. Thankfully I've had worse things happen and my perfect husband agreed to help buff them out, BUT this stove is a high end investment. And now, I have work, time and money to take it back to its original position. It's never been scratched, and it's only 3 years old. Ugh. I'll post pictures below. The window ledge above my bed was never cleaned. My master bathroom shower was NEVER EVEN TOUCHED aside from the glass doors. The floors, walls, faucets, body sprayers were never cleaned. I took pictures after their visit to show Miranda. Her response was "my house has that, those are hard water marks." Umm, no they weren't. And even if they were, didn't I PAY YOU TO REMOVE THEM?!? Pictures attached. My china cabinet, never CLEANED pictures attached. My fireplace ledge, nope. They "accidentally" turned on the pot filler over my stove and water poured all over the place, through the stove and onto the floor. The lady that cleaned it said she "didn't even know what it was". Umm. Ok. They ruined a brand new lamb skin rug by taking a dirty vacuum to it. Miranda defended this by saying her vacuum was "brand new". Umm. No. Clearly not if it turned the totally clean, BRAND NEW, NEVER USED rug to a grey color, your vacuum was not clean. They never dusted my formal dining table. I seats 8 and is 11 feet long. You would figure they would clean something that takes up an entire room. Especially because I paid for the "deep clean", which in Miranda's wording "included everything". Miranda and I have VERY different definitions of "deep clean". There was nothing "deep clean" about this. I had to spend an entire day the next day cleaning and re cleaning after their "work". Still with a sprained ankle. I didn't feel she had any respect for my experience with her. I didn't feel like this was an honorable experience. My time was betrayed. My home wasn't valuable to her. She sent her "best girls" to my home and they clearly didn't understand what excellence is. She charged me 540 dollars. She literally owes me a full refund and probably much more depending on what it costs me to fix my stove. She overcharged me for time, charged me for her cleaners to stand around and gossip. And then refused to take responsibility for damaging things in my Home. She talks in circles when confronted about her work. It's just a whole mess. She doesn't stand behind anything! She refuses to take responsibility for anything. In the event you have an issue with her company's work, there will be NO follow through and she will fail to take responsibility for anything, so be very aware of that. There's a lot more I could say here but honestly, it's just not worth my time. I wouldn't waste your time either. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, primarily because of her attitude. I found her to be IMPOSSIBLE TO WORK WITH. All she was concerned about was money, not my Home, not my belongings, not my satisfaction. OH ONE MORE THING! She told me She "took photos of my home" without my consent, without my knowledge. I'm pretty sure that illegal. So. That's totally not ok. read more

We lost our house cleaners because they decided to do only new construction, so we decided to try Miranda's after receiving a post card ad in the mail. I called the, and they sounded great, said they would bring three people for 2 hours. On their first visit two of the cleaners showed up 10 minutes late. Miranda called to say she had to take her some to a medical appointment so she would be late as well. first, the cleaners were very nice. Their cleaning was good but not what we were used to. I would characterize it as a light cleaning, no wood work cleaned, tile floors had spots, etc. Miranda showed up an hour late and did stay around and clean to make up the time. I received my invoice and didn't really -any attention to it since it was charged automatically to my credit card. 2 weeks later...same story. The first two cleaners showed up 5-10 minutes late and Miranda didn't show. The first cleaners told me she was running late. At the end of two hours Miranda showed up and because we had guests upstairs we waived her off. again I would characterize the cleaning as a light cleaning. Compared to our last cleaners it was horrible what we got for the same time and number of cleaners. I emailed Miranda to let her know that we would not be using her any longer. Primarily I was uptight over the failure to be on time, and then upon looking at the invoices I was over charged a lot! She did offer to make it right, but I don't think that would have helped. When you are late for your very first visit, I should have known better to go a second time. Her "office helper" did call and discuss the charges and we came to an acceptable agreement, but it was definitely an over charge. The invoices I received were not itemized so it took some time to figure out why the charges were so high. So while the cleaners were very nice, and the termination process was handled professionally, I feel that the company has a lot of work to do in order to come up to par with other cleaning services. read more

I HIGHLY recommend this cleaning business! My husband and I own multiple apartment units in Redding. We recently had some tenants move out and they did the bare minimum cleaning. We used to do the cleaning ourselves, but just don't have the time anymore. So, I contacted two cleaning companies and Miranda's Spotless Home & Office Cleaning won me over! Here is why: 1. Incredibly Fast Response Time regarding a quote and any questions I had prior to "hiring" her company. 2. The other company I spoke with told me they didn't carry a product to clean mold/mildew in the bathroom and that I would have to provide it. Really?!? How does that make sense? They are the cleaning company! And, when I sent them another email asking if they had ANYTHING in their cleaning arsenal to do it, THEY NEVER REPLIED BACK, NEVER! No problem with Miranda's Spotless Home & Office Cleaning doing the mold though! Not to mention she (Miranda, the owner) didn't hesitate to answer any and all questions promptly!!! 3. Really reasonably priced for the amount of work they did. Truly, they went ABOVE & BEYOND.....and she even came by the apartment when her 2 employees were done to INSPECT THE JOB! WOW!! Miranda and her crew were truly outstanding! My wife and I have had our home cleaned many times but WOW! They did such a great job. My wife walked by and saw someone with a tooth brush cleaning the grout and almost cried... She is so happy.. We have not had the house professionally cleaned for a few months so it was in bad need of their touch. She also was able to fit us in on short notice. What a wonderful experience.
