They also sensitized us to the health hazards posed to humans by bat guano and explained the hospital-grade disinfectant CWH uses once they replace any impacted insulation. Jesse and his colleagues came up with a detailed estimate for materials and labor and a timeline to "exclude" the bats humanely, as well as a quote for an alternative bat box to be installed on our property. We were very satisfied with every aspect of CWH's work from the initial call and consultation to subsequent visits and follow-up. He explained what their process would be as well as the steps that I would need to take before and after treatment. We spoke on a Monday morning and he had a technician scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Loved the quick turnaround. I was traveling on Wednesday but left the house prepared for the technician and a key for entry. They had my phone number if there were an issues, but none arose. Normally they ask for the home being empty for 6 hours. Since I was away, I'd be gone for 24 and let them know they could really blast the place. :) My technician was Tyler and he did great. When I returned, I ventilated the space and followed the after-care steps (mostly regular and routine vacuuming). It's now been a week since the treatment and, best I can tell, the fleas are gone. I'd definitely work with Pest-X again.

I went by the excellent reviews on Google from years past when I decided to give them a call. When the technician came out to my house I noticed that he wasn't really dressed like a technician. He told me that he was the office manager so he doesn't normally come out. He was nice but he didn't know what he was doing. I have had my yard serviced for a year with another company so I have an idea of how and where they spray. It seemed like he was just pointing and spraying randomly. He couldn't specifically point out what areas he was planning on spraying as we walked through the yard. When I asked about specific areas he said that it was included. I did ask for him to come inside and spray for spiders and little things that get in and he did and I've seen several dead bugs since but whatever he sprayed outside did NOTHING for the mosquitos and fleas outside. My daughter and I continued to get ate up. I called to cancel after speaking with my husband. BEFORE signing up for services and signing the contract, I asked if the $49.99 initial service deal for the first month required me to sign up for a 12 month subscription....the sales rep said yes and I explained that I didn't want it because we don't need spraying during the cool winter months. The rep explained that I could pause it during those months and resume it once it warmed up. He said that they have several clients that do this. I thought this was GENIUS! I verified what I heard and went to speak with my husband. Of course we signed up. When I realized that we were still getting ate up a few weeks later, I called to cancel. The cancellation dept said that they do not pause services just because and that it's usually reserved for financial hardships and for a month or two max. She said she needed to have her manager go listen to the call and someone would give me a call back the next day. I went on a family vacation for a week in Florida. I received a call back the following week when we returned. They called back to say that they couldn't find the call where the rep told me that. Which I believe is very dishonest! I am stuck paying a $200 cancellation fee that they discounted to $150 because their sales rep was dishonest to get me to sign up for services. I'm sure if I don't pay, it will go to collections. PLEASE BEWARE! They are scamming folks. I'm not sure why they would risk ruining their reputation over $150-200.
