I was frantically looking on Yelp for a mobile spray tan, last minute the night before my engagement party. I was able to book an appointment very easily online for same day at home service. It was great: I selected the time and place for the tan, paid for it, all online, and received the pre-tan instructions. I received timely updates via text as to when the tanning specialist was on her way, her first name & picture were also provided to me. I needed it done last minute so I was able to book an appointment at 2:30pm for a 4pm session. Very professional, female came to my home with everything that was needed. Didn't need to supply anything, just enough space for a tent that was a bit taller and wider than me. Tan developed beautifully. Thank you Spray Valet. ~ Posted by Y. Karimi

My spray tan is literally orange and splotchy, and the underboob is completely missed. I have a big photoshoot tomorrow ! I told the sprayer I want to look naturally bronzed and the color is tragic. This isn't even after 24 hours and I followed the before and after care, as I've gotten spray tans in the past before. I want to cry! This was not only a waste of $ but I literally look awful for the shoot! But the sprayer did show up on time! I've seen review about tardiness and she showed up early! It's just the color of the tan that's sad

I've used several in home spray tan services in LA before at varying price points so I'm well versed in quality and pricing. The price for this company's 8 hour tan is standard mid range price, however, the quality was so poor (in my case) that I can't recommend spending that much. The technician was incredibly sweet and relatable, however she was 35 minutes late due the long distance she was traveling. Poor thing was so rushed driving from one end of town to the other, that I believe this company has a scheduling problem that is effecting their employees and the quality of their work. From other reviews, it looks like this is possibly not uncommon for them. It was truly the fastest spray tan that I've ever had, aside from standing in a Versa booth. When she completed the spraying, we quickly looked over my tan, and at the time the bronze indicator coating seemed fine. She then hurried out the door. I stayed in the air conditioning for the next 12 hours with proper loose clothing. I'm not new to this. After my first soap free shower, 14 hours later, the bronzer rinsed off, and my entire body was streaked except for my lower arms and legs. I look like an orange streaked marshmallow. Now, I will have to spend money on a professional Korean scrub to get it off. Ugh. Such a bummer! I'm giving this place one extra star because the technician was so nice and their scheduling was easy and convenient! I have no idea what's going on with the drive time planning of this place that she had to drive all over town like that and rush the tan. I think that the scheduling was probably the main issue, although the tanner formulation is a bit orange for my taste. Not super orange, but not that great cocoa color like I've gotten from other places. I posted some pics of my results. All in all, with the other options I have, I will not be using them again.

I was hesitant to spray tan after seeing how terrible & orange some of my friends fake tanning experiences had been but I wanted to stop using tanning beds and even the sun which will ultimately damage my skin. After seeing great reviews, I decided to call Val & now I am completely converted. Her tans do not look fake at all. They are the right color, with no unnatural or uneven pealing that I was afraid of. She sets up quickly but makes sure to spend just the right amount of time to do a flawless job. Not to mention, she has always fit me in :) Highly recommended! read more

I found On The Go Glow when I was looking for a reasonable mobile tanning because I was leaving for a trip for Florida and the day before it was raining. I didn't want to leave the house and tan while it was raining. On The Go Glow was the perfect solution to my problem. The tanner showed up exactly on time and was very professional. My first spray tan ever and it was quick and easy experience. Megan arrived right on time. She was great. Set up the little tent inside, plugged in and ready to go. She is very experienced and knows exactly how and where to spray to get the most even, natural looking tan. I loved it. I typically sport the farmer's tan, but this gave me a nice matching tan all over and it lasted just under a week. I'm not usually one for tanning, but I'll definitely be using On The Go Glow again! On the Go Glow is a convenient way of getting the tan you want in the comfort of your own home. I've tried out their services twice now and absolutely love the color and the results! The girl who sprayed me was very courteous and made me feel comfortable (given that I was standing there naked -I hate tan lines!!). On The Go Glow is simply the best spray tan you'll ever experience! I've been using them for over 3 years now and even after I got pregnant since their spray tan is all organic - I love them! The tan doesn't leave an icky smell like most others and if you follow guidelines like moisturizing and exfoliating prior to your spray tan it lasts for a good 10 days. Did not show up for appointment I made weeks ago. I actually had to reach out to them to confirm and then to request a time change (just 30 mins difference) because every time I triEd to use the app, I got an "error code". After showering and preparing for my appointment, the person NeVER showed up. I tried to reach someone through the app, but it only gave mE error codes. I called an old number I had for the company (I have been a client for a few years) and spoke wwirh someone who's basically told me the appointment was changed to pending and it was my fault for trying to change the time. Unreliable and the app is terrible. Will not use anymore. read more

Valerie started Spray Valet as a one-woman act. She walked into home after home for years, getting to know each and every client. No matter who it was, she saw a change in them from when they entered the spray tan tent to when they walked out. Whether it was their usual weekly visit, going through a breakup, someone being pregnant, or even someone who had cancer, each person had a shade of themselves that came to life. Something that was always within them remembered. It was like the spray tan permitted them to shine. As the company grew, she felt an essential part of hiring was finding women who would make each client feel their most comfortable. The company was built on this connection between sprayer and client. Valerie is also a full time intuitive energetic healer. Treatment: I got the tan from Nicole (I hope I remember your name right - I'm so bad with names. :-/ ). She was great! Super nice, asked me what I was looking for, informed me about everything she's gonna do and how I have to treat my tan at home to have the best and long lasting results. Tan: After 8 hours u're allowed to take a shower. I waited 9 to be sure. Because u will still have some spraycolor on your skin it can look a little muddy - this was completely gone after I took a shower. It came out super even & not orange at all! It came out a little lighter than I expected, but it's very pretty. Prices: 1 x Full Body: 60$ 3 x Full Body: 50$ (per Session) 6 x Full Body: 45$ (per Session) Very happy! Highly recommend this place! :-)

I arrived at 10:52, just 2 minutes past the latest time they said they could take me (10:50). Despite explaining the situation and asking if we could do a quicker session - which has been done before - I was refused without any flexibility or willingness to help. What's truly disappointing is not even the refusal, but the complete lack of basic understanding and customer care, even knowing it was for a special occasion. Losing a loyal client over 2 minutes and handling it this way says everything. I won't be ever coming back after this!!!

For my first visit a few days ago my experience was good, thanks to OG's expertise (his name is Chris) in guiding me through starting my tanning process, similar to the excellent care I received from Tommy at my previous salon visits. I have light skin, and they both ensured I achieved a beautiful, natural tan without any burns. However, today's visit was a complete disaster. Without OG's guidance (because he wasn't there), the tanning bed I used malfunctioned and overheated, causing it to shut off mid-session. Immediately, my face became extremely red, and my eyelids swelled up. Now, my entire body is burning and severely red, plus I'm starting to get chills. When I reported the issue to the front desk girl, her response was dismissive, simply stating that "the beds get hot" and attributing the problem to the newness of the equipment compared to Tommy's older beds. I'm not comfortable being told "they get hot" when clearly the machine displayed an over-temperature error and shut itself down mid-session. That error in the picture indicates a safety threshold was exceeded, the unit needs to be inspected before it's used again. I understand UV causes burns, but the excess heat from the canopy overheating definitely amplified the inflammatory response and increased the severity of my skin burn reaction. A safety cutoff should not be considered normal and should not have been brushed off casually. Not to mention with this type of skin burn I can't even visit the salon again in 24 hrs. I probably have to wait a full week or two after paying nearly $200 for the month and some products and $125 starting next month which cannot be canceled until after they charge the $125. Can't take a hot shower, can't workout, can't throw a blanket on. Fingers crossed I don't develop any blisters. The fact that the beds are new and the prices are higher doesn't justify the lack of proper care and attention. The personalized guidance I received from Tommy and OG is unmatched, and I never experienced burns with Tommy's "old orbit bed" and had the most beautiful tan, I would get so many compliments! My process was always comfortable. I also will be checking in with all my referrals. The salon didn't even offer any remedies for my burned skin. While I plan to continue visiting and seeking OG's assistance because I'm stuck there for two months. I want to warn others to exercise caution and specifically request OG's guidance to avoid a similar incident. I'll update this review with OG's name soon. Iykyk. - I also read other reviews that it is very difficult to cancel membership and they keep charging even after you cancel. Truly hoping this is not the case. I will most definitely be keeping you updated. - btw let me add, when OG is gone I'm out and I want my money back. And the only reason they get an additional star is not because they are fancy, it's because of Chris.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I've had nothing but A+ experiences in the numerous occasions I've booked On The Go Glow both in customer service and subsequent tanning results. Callie and Arielle are hands-down my 2 favorite airbrush technicians I've ever had the pleasure of working with: I've tried several other companies in Los Angeles as well as in cities across the US as I travel regularly & make my living partially off of my aesthetics & appearance.
