One of the employees was unable to tell me the difference between the open sun and high pressure beds. Room 8 door does not lock properly. Room 3 tanning bed facial bulb is out. I just got a 30 day package deal that was 50% for tanning and I am pleased with the price so I'll update my review at the end of this experience with service from the staff and the quality of beds,rooms, and overall salon.

I wanted somewhere that was reasonably priced, easy to get into, provided a good color and sprayed by hand vs a machine. I used to go to another place in Mundelein that was also a hair salon but getting an apt was always so difficult but they did offer a spray by hand. However, the last few times I tried to go I couldn't get it. So I tried another place where the woman would come to your house but I didn't like the tan (could barley see anything) and it was so pricey. Then I tried LA Tan and I came out looking like I just went to the Jersey Shore. So I've finally found my place- Cabo Tan!!!!The owner is very sweet & helpful. The tan itself was literally the best I've ever had. I looked perfectly tan and it lasted the entire trip even after spending four days in the ocean. Apparently they have some secret tanning solution that no other shop uses and is better quality than the versa spa solution. Go give this place a try!

I was skeptical @ first because this salon had no reviews on my beloved Yelp but I decided to book the appointment anyway & overcome my fear of going to someone new and mysterious. We got to the salon at about 11:40am on Saturday morning. My appointment wasn't until noon and I didn't have to wait! Woohooo +1! I met Arturo, showed him pictures of what I wanted, and from there... My shaggy, un-done, un-healthy, brittle hair was history. I went blonder than I was before (see pics). He did very thin all-over highlights with a violet toner. He listened to my wishes to the exact "T" and was extremely nice!! It came out awesome. I legitimately wanted to hug him! I can rock all the trendy clothes and accessories I want but without the right hairstyle, I can still look like I got hit by a freight train. This is where Nikki comes in. It's been quite some time since I found a hairstylist that actually listens to my jibber jabber of "I don't want it too short but I want enough layers to create dimension and maybe some bangs or not and I want my hair dyed black but not too black and blah blah blah." Like a freak robot, she processes all of that, and I come out looking fabulous all the time. I should add that I live an hour away from the salon. If that's not a testament to how great of a stylist she is, I don't know what is. =) They offer manicures, pedicures, and spray tanning as well. The only negative about this place is its location. (The door clearly says "walk ins welcome".) (The owner) Sue, cut my hair. While doing so she made several offensive and racist comments, including insulting my child's name, talking about how she left a job because she couldn't work for "a black" and also talked about politics and the military. It was not a pleasant experience and the cut was mediocre at best. It was uneven, and I left with a ton of hair on and in my shirt.
