    Pretzel

We had such a nice time here! The staff was so friendly and kind. Tried some of their brews and even the soda floats, yum! The pretzel was perfect after a half marathon! Would definitely come back if ever in the area again.

My friend and I visited the tasting room for a trivia event recently. The guys working the order counter were marginally helpful, at best. They didn't explain much about the beers on offer, pointing us to the lists at the table instead. They didn't offer any details about the event, just telling us "she" would be around. They didn't make an suggestions about the beers. So... meh. The beer I had was fine. The giant pretzel we ordered was actually pretty good. The sound system for the music trivia was pretty crummy actually. It made it hard to hear and frustrating to play. Then at the end, at 8pm, we felt shoved out the door. The most efficient thing all night was the bussing of the tables. So unfortunately I have no real desire to go back for a tour or a second visit.

Every flavor in the book and a pretzel

A fun place to visit in the Milwaukee area. We took family and the tour was great. A must for locals and visitors alike. We also stayed to eat, drink, and play. We enjoyed hanging out in the back room, which is in the corner and hard to see. A great place to get souvenirs, too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tip: Get there early because the tours sell out.

I used to live 5 miles north of here. Now I'm further away by 2 more miles. No tours for me. I've seen a lifetime supply and I just came here to get extracts to make some of the world famous Root beer and cherry colas . I've always had good interactions with Randy and all the other reps while at the beer tastings and beer garden pop ups. I've been a fan of Black Bavarian for many years and looking forward to making flavored deserts and ice creams and sodas with the extracts. Since I'm still healing from gastritis. I'm cautious about beer drinking. I gave it up half of September and the month of October. Having gastritis is awful. Imagine 3 hours of terrible pain I'm thinking I'm going to die. And never have experienced this before. You think. Is this what death is like? I'm thinking it's the same. Stomach cancer did cross my mind many times while suffering. Then I realize I'm not dead and I'm not in pain in the morning. Did I die? And the pain is all gone? And it could be a perforated gastric ulcer. But no fever. And the pain goes away. Like magic. Lucky for me it's just acid reflux style pain and it's responding to antacids and now I'm on Prilosec pretty much pain free and cautiously eating blandly. I'm making my own drinks with less carbonation. Since dissolved CO2 can increase acidity. Causing me dreadful excruciating belly aches. I'm learning how to eat bland beans rice chicken fish eggs and slowly working back to spicy foods. I can now tolerate sharp cheddar with chipotle pepper. Baby steps I'm on the path to healing. 20/2024 Food 4/5 easy bar snacks available in store cheese, chips along with big sized pretzel to share. Ambiance 5/5 clean tasting room not as loud as the brewery because of the glass windows. Plus a monitor for watching the cameras and tvs for the games. Service 5/5 friendly quick service. Location 5/5 easy parking west of the building area nearby streets when packed. Value 5/5 large gift shop and plenty of beer and soda selections along with glassware and clothing. Ps I was told Randy occasionally pops in and the new owners have managed to increase visibility and distribution across the nation. Good job.

Highly recommend their root beer! We unfortunately couldn't get spots for the tour, but the beer garden is still a fun place to hang out.

Nice staff and decent space for private events. Stopped here for a work function though we have visited a time or two before. We were in the rathskeller section and they had some cool older bottles/memorabilia from over the years on the walls. Cool barrel tables, too. We had snacks of veggie trays, assorted cheese and meats, and bruschetta. Also, we were able to grab all the soda and beer we wanted from the bar. I tried the amber and the hefeweizen. Both good but not the best I've had. Sprecher has always been a consistent brewery though - most everything you try will be at least good. Love the gift shop, too. Grabbed a few cans of their abbey triple to go. $1.50/can. Can't beat that!

Sprecher has something for everyone. They make their own soda, beer, seltzer plus food onsite. Huge area to enjoy drinks and food with clear signage for ordering food and drink at bar. They have a large gift shop that you enter through. Tour is fun and interactive, hairnets required. Plenty of parking. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Date of visit: August 1, 2024 I had an employee visiting from out of state and wanted to do something fun for my team so I booked tickets at the 5 p.m. Sprecher tour. The checkout process for the tour online was very easy and I received both text and email reminders. The check in process was painless and everyone on my team loved the souvenir glass; the coaster to save your table setting was a nice touch as well. Shawn did a great job with the tour though I do think that they would greatly benefit with a little speaker or microphone, especially with the ambient noise from the facility as well as the tasting room. This is a great way to spend an hour or so and having the appetizer options available as well is a great bonus, even if we didn't end up using it.

As I drove in, I caught myself sniffing the air as I thought there was a whiff of sweetness in the air. Maybe it was my imagination...? I was there for the tour, which was $13 for adults and came with a souvenir glass, unlimited soda tastings, and four beer pours. I don't really drink, so there's an option to donate the tickets for a charitable organization (the beers aren't donated themselves, but some percentage from sales is based on the number of tickets). There's three parts to the tour. The first is to go over the history of the brewery, the second is in a part of the factory where they brew the beer and make the soda. The third is their bottling line. Overall, the tour took about an hour, although it was also in part because we were a large group with a lot of questions. After the tour, there's a snack and beverage room with the hard and soft drinks. While I didn't get any food, I had a lot of soda and one beer. The soda was actually surprising as it comes out of the tap less carbonated-it turns out that the bottles and cans are over carbonated as they lose their bubbles during transport and with time so they want to ensure that the drink isn't flat by the time it gets to the customer. There's also a shop where you can buy drinks and other merchandise. Don't skip it!

We visited Sprecher's about 12 years ago when the tasting room was very low key and the only food they had was store bought pretzels and it was fun, but they've really upped their game since then. The tasting room is huge and there are some great food options. The pretzels have gotten huge and looked super tasty. Our kids and the adults loved trying all the sodas and lemonades. The adults enjoyed the various beers and ciders. Lauren was our tour guide for the 45 min tour and did a fantastic job showing us the inner workings of the brewery while educating us and keeping us entertained. Since it was a Sunday we got to see the bottling room as well since there was no production happening that day. At $7 for kids and $12 for adults (with 4 beer samples) Sprecher's is a fun way to spend a few hours. They have lots of games to keep everyone entertained and lots of tvs with different sports games on. Of course they have a large gift shop so you can take some of that Sprecher's magic home with you.

Did the tour with the OG Christian. Now enjoying the tap room!

Great tour from the OG Christian. He was VERy knowledgeable and funny as heck on the tour..his 7th grade students are lucky to have him as a teacher Was amazed at how much the place brews and bottles. The tap room was great being able to sample many of the beers and sodas...I'm not big on hoppy beers and they replaced the pour with something else without any questions saying g "we want you to enjoy". I've been to other breweries where they would have charged for the replacement pour. This place is a MUST do if you are in the area!

I love going to Sprecher's Brewing Company. I am a huge fan of the craft sodas that Sprecher's known for. My favorite craft sodas are Cream Soda, Root Beer, Cherry Cola, Orange Dream & Puma Cola. Can't wait to go back again in the future.

Our nine year old granddaughter is visiting from San Diego and this was on her list of things she wanted to do. We enjoyed the tour, it was very informative. Our guide was great. The staff was amazing, answering questions and filling our soda and beer glasses. I enjoyed the pale ale. Our granddaughter liked the root beer and loved the watermelon soda. She also loved the giant pretzel. The taproom was very spacious, there were games to play while we enjoyed our food and drinks.

Parking was a wild time, as they were directing people to an entirely different lot down the way, so it was a bit of hike to get to the entrance. Once we parked, we waited in like for 10 minutes or to get through the gates. I was tipped off the downland the Bavarian's app ahead of time, which got me $5 off my entry (and it was free from my little kiddo in tow). If you're looking for all the great German beer, German music, and German cuisine, this is your place! It's so fun to see how many attendees dress to theme in their lederhosens, dirndls, and hats. Some of the staff dress up as well, and of course those preforming on stage! We came to find out this isn't the greatest fest to take young kids, as the crowds are big, the lines are long, and the music (be it so fun and festive), is really loud. I'm sure we would have stayed longer if it was an adult-only trip. In any case, the food and drink are fare price. I'm now regretting not ordering the traditional pretzel and sausage options, but splitting a tasty platter of tenders and fries with my son hit the spot. Being pregnant, I'm not drinking, but friends we were with has nothing but great things to say about their German pints. The beer steins are of course an option which is a fun touch. Hot tip: if you can book a table reservation ahead of time, do so! That's what we did and it was a good call since this place is poppin. Happy official Fall! Enjoy!

This is place is hopping during the dinner hour, regardless of the day. The main parking is behind…read morethe building, either enter to the south by the gas station or you have to drive around the Dairy Queen... keep this in mind as the parking lot can be full of cars and people. Lots of people, particularly in the warm months when high schoolers are hanging out at DQ. This unassuming neighborhood pub is much larger inside, and more popular, than you would expect just driving by. There are tons of tvs showing every possible sporting event and a packed house - I seem to always get the last available table. It has a townie vibe, with the dim lighting, nightly specials, an excellent Friday Fish Fry (with the option of potato pancakes - SO GOOD), and delicious burgers. No Coors on tap here but they have Stella (woohoo!). Despite living near this pub since 2010, I've only recently discovered how good the food was here. Overall, it reminds me of a "grown up" mini BBC (the beloved gone-but-never-forgotten North Ave establishment) with better food. Definitely worth checking out if you are hungry and in the area!

This was the new restaurant of the week that's been a bookmark for awhile now. The burger pictures…read moreon Yelp didn't look half bad. The place is a bar/restaurant with the bar on one half and a dining room on the other half. It's a nice looking place with a cool bar, blue under bar lighting, color on the walls with exposed duct work. Service was a little slow in the beginning to get my Bloody Mary spicy. The Bloody Mary was average with a lacking of toppings because it's one olive and a crunchy/crisp pickle spear, kind of pathetic looking. I ordered the Wisco burger and I was asked how I wanted it cooked and I said as rare as possible because you can't undercook it but definitely overcook it with seasoned frys. The Wisco burger is 1/3 pound patty, bacon, sautéed onions, beer cheese on a pretzel bun. My plate looked good but the absence of the blood red juices leaking into the bun meant that it's overcooked and sure it was because it's not rare at all so why even ask how I want it cooked, it's always been 50/50 if I actually get a rare piece of meat. Otherwise the bun was fresh with crispy bacon and the messy cheese soup so let's give the guy one thin napkin for this hand mess he just ordered. The patty seemed fresh because it was tender with out the harder texture of a frozen patty, actually a decent burger. The seasoned frys were seasoned nicely and cooked to order hot and crispy with the skin on, pretty good. Overall was it the best burger in town, no. Was it good for what it was, yes and cooked to order hot frys is always a plus.
