We stumbled upon Twisted Path Distillery while trying to find a different drinking establishment. In the end, Twisted Path Distillery ended up being our favorite find! Staff were friendly and took their jobs seriously. The venue was open and inviting, especially since it was warm. We loved all of the plants on the wall of the bar! While it was a smaller menu, everything sounded delicious! We ended up getting to drinks to try: The Cilantro Gimlet and the Aggressively Friendly. My husband loved the herbasciously delicious Cilantro Gimlet. Great flavors with a definitively cilantro flavor. I enjoyed the Aggressively Friendly cocktail, particularly with the gin and lavender notes. Prices were fairly reasonable and the space was clean and inviting. We definitely would like to return in the future and try other drinks!

Highly recommend for an intimate date night or fancy get together with friends. The drinks are amazing and if you have someone who doesn't want to drink the non alcoholic drinks are absolutely amazing! The bartenders are so knowledgeable and are happy to educate you on the drinks and all of the different fusions they can make.

This distillery is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for a cocktail! Every distillery has their own vodka and whiskey these days, but they go next level with their Bloody Mary Vodka (infused with spices so all you have to add is juice and it is shelf stable), and their Chai Liqueur. These are my two favorite items to buy and keep at home now, especially during the holiday season, the Chai is a fantastic product. However the bar itself is great. They take into account various flavor profiles, creating distillates and using aromatics to enhance their cocktails. I always look forward to seeing what they have on their menu. The space itself is beautiful, with vines and their products on the wall, making it a great date spot in the evening with the dimmer lights, or a great spot to get together with friends in the summer with the garage door open. Let's not forget they also have amazing Mocktails! The Rhubarbra Streisand is always a hit in our group, and its nice to have options for everyone in the group. Highly recommend a visit to their distillery :)

Spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon at Twisted Path tasting their spirit offerings. I found the Bloody Vodka interesting, the gin smooth, and the Chai Liquor unique. Elijah was our server, and he was a wealth of information. Twisted Path is a Milwaukee treasure.

Been coming here for years!! Great spot to stop and get a well crafted, well thought out cocktail. They have a rotating menu but there is always an option for a "dealers choice" and you won't be sorry. The vibes are immaculate. The bartenders are lovely and very personable!

Nice spot for a cocktail on Milwaukee's south side. The front doors open up wide to let in fresh air on nice days. The cocktail selection is wide and the service is great. I recommend the Bourbon Old Fashioned (if you like a sweeter drink.)

Aggressively friendly and mango tango. Check out those giant garage doors in the background

I've since learned that outside food is encouraged in the main area. This definitely makes the place more appetizing. Will be back to enjoy some local eats and great drinks at twisted path.

Ah, Twisted Path. You offer refuge in the form of consistently delicious cocktails. You had me at 'shallot brine' with that scrumptious dirty martini. Then, you knocked it out of the park with A Curry for What Ails You--a deliciously complex, aromatic, and savory drink that doesn't disappoint. Made with gin, curried butternut squash syrup with coconut and lemon juice....dayummmmm!!!! Seriously, I love the cocktails here. They are solid, consistent, and creative. The bar tending staff is also friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. If you're looking for a crafty cocktail, I definitely suggest adding them to your rotation. You won't be disappointed.

Visited Twisted Path after finding an inexpensive Groupon deal for the tour. This was a first date and the distillery turned an awkward experience into a fun time! The tour is lead by the Owner - political science major turned lawyer turned distillery owner. He is Awesome!!!! Wish I was on a date with him instead. Lol wishful thinking. Anyway, he was so informative inclusive and knowledgeable about his craft and the passion he brings to his product delivers to the people who patronize his establishment. Following the tour is the best part.... Tasting Room!!! Although not everything spoke to my palette, the samples were delicious and interesting... everything had a unique twist. I purchased the Vodka and white rum following the tour.... discount off each bottle! Totally would come here again... and again. Just wish appetizers or small plates were available. Drinking on an empty stomach is not wise. But I never claimed to be wise."

Super romantic and chill atmosphere, great original cocktails and NA options. Highly recommend anything with their chai liqueur.

A dirty martini with shallot brine? Yes, please! Absolutely delicious and love that it comes with an olive and pickled onion. You get to choose between their own gin or vodka for the base of the Cocktail. Can't choose between the two? They can also make it when half gin and half vodka which gives a unique taste.

We're planning on buying some bottle of liquor from them that we tried, such as the chai liqueur, which was amazing!

I had heard about the Tin Widow's holiday pop up being one of the best area, the hype was not wrong. From the entrance to the ceiling and walks, this place is the definition of deck the halls. Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. Highly recommend making this place a holiday stop. I'm also curious to stop in after the holidays to experience it without all the holiday decor.

They had several seasonal cocktails in special festive cups, which you could also buy to take home. I got the Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus, which was good, but pricey for what it was. Almost all the seasonal drinks were $15 each and didn't seem too big. The venue itself is medium sized, but feels crammed quickly. There's more people let in at a time than there is seating, so you have to move fast to get a seat. I'll likely come back during the summer to try something else.

They do a tremendous job of explaining the menu and food options in detail, and ensure you have a great experience from start to finish. The drinks? Nothing short of amazing. They vary the featured cocktails menu every 8 weeks, so most likely you'll get a different experience every time you go. However you can always get your classic cocktails like Margaritas, French 75 and Martinis. They also can do any drink NA which is the first of its kind in the US. They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. Fair warning: it's small and difficult to get a reservation - don't try your luck walking in, this place is a hot ticket and you won't be able to get in without a resy, which could be weeks or months out. This is a true gem of a cocktail bar, and is as good as anything you would find in New York or Chicago.

Liked the vibe - reminds me of shakers cigar bar but without all the smoke (like, a bit spooky,…read moreold, maybe haunted but also very cool). We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.
