Cute and homey little cafe in Zelienople! The staff was super friendly and transparent with the long wait from the kitchen. Even though we had to wait for hot food, we had scones (blueberry, strawberry, and chocolate) and coffee to pass the time. Very nice spot if you want a good meal and a place to relax or meeting up with friends. Highly recommend and I will stop by again soon.

Veggie omelet, wheat toast, and fresh fruit cup

My mom, son, and I came here on a Wednesday morning. There were very few people in the restaurant when we arrived. We walked right up to the counter to order. I ordered a Veggie omelet with a fruit cup and wheat toast. The omelet was the most delicious item- fresh vegetables that were cooked well. We split a lemon poppyseed muffin that was pretty dry and would have been better warmed with butter. I ordered a chocolate chip pancake for my son and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was a little dry and flat but he didn't seem to mind. Overall, this is a nice stop in Zelieonople for breakfast. They have quite a few breakfast entree options and a case of pastries with a variety to choose from. You will find something you'll like!

Cute spacious place with really good food, but service was painfully slow . We waited more than a half an hour for our food . Had we gotten our food faster I would have rated this place 5 stars . Despite the slow service I would return . All the food that came out of the kitchen looked delicious

Was in the area looking for breakfast food and dropped by when I found this on maps. The food was great with an even better price, I left feeling satisfied with not only what I ate but the service by the staff as well! See you again soon Spring and Main.

    Menu...hard to read.

My husband loves this place and always goes to lunch during the work week. We had an opportunity to go on a Saturday and I loved the atmosphere, decorations, and food. There are some critiques though. The menu is on a chalk board. It is hard to read and does not describe the items at all. I had a hard time picking my food. I ended up getting an egg white and Canadian bacon croissant sandwich with potatoes...all great! My husband gets the spring salad with chicken and balsamic. He loves everything about this except the chicken is not cut up and left in huge pieces.

This is a cute place. The staff were decent, they could have been having a rough morning. I ordered their strawberry açaí and the avocado toast with runny eggs. The toast was good and the eggs were runny as I ordered. Only draw back was how much balsamic vinegar was on the greens. It was swimming in it compared to them saying just a drizzle. So if you like balsamic vinegar dive in! I give 3 stars because of the service not being great and the friendliness was subpar. Tip for the juice drink- it's very sweet so if you're not looking for a very sweet drink I would order something else. The only thing they offered to fix the drink was to add water. If I'm in the area again I may try it again, but not sure.

Great breakfast spot on the main strip in Zelienople near the Strand Theater. Great selection of omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and other traditional options. We opted to try two versions of their eggs benedict (traditional and florentine) which were delicious with a wonderful hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were salty, hot and wonderfully flavored. The blueberry pancake was good although but ours came a bit undercooked. My wife enjoyed her pumpkin latte and their drop coffee was also good. Incredibly friendly staff and reasonable pricing means we will definitely be back to try some other items.

During the pandemic, my first visit was a late weekday dine-in lunch with a friend. I felt very comfortable as the tables were socially distanced and the friendly staff wore masks. I plan to try the all-day breakfast next time.

I was so hungry that I already had cut into my traditional eggs Benedict before taking this photo!

Yum yum yum! If…read moreyou're in the mood for a good brew, a huge pretzel and maybe some schnitzel on the side, then this may be the place for you! We visited on Father's Day, a bit later in the day. Our server, Anthony, prefaced our ordering with the fact that they've served over 1,000 people that day and some of their items were unfortunately out - like the spaetzles, schnitzels and a few of their popular sandwiches. He shared and went over the large beer, cocktails and drink menu too (which includes mocktails for $5 or so!). To share, we ordered the Giant Bavarian Brezeln (served with North Country Black Bear Mustard and beer cheese) and the crab cake. Both were tasty! The crab cake was full of lots of crab and little breading; the pretzel was perfect and so good with the mustard. For our main dishes, we ordered the Norwegian Salmon with a side salad and mashed potatoes, Roasted Beet salad with chicken (fresh arugula, sweet beets and savory with huge pieces of chicken), Steak salad and kids burger. If I had to choose a favorite out of the few, I'd say the steak salad would be an excellent choice but the others are just as flavorful.. it truly depends on your taste buds. I like how big their menu is, all the side options available plus the endless selection of dressings for your salad. For the little ones, the burger was pretty big and the fries dusted with whatever seasoning is on them were amazing. Everything tasted fresh, looked well prepared and presented and was oh so good. Anthony was on it and very kind and quick to check on us throughout the meal. A historic and popular spot, with plenty of indoor seating at tables and the bar, plus an outdoor patio and bar too. Kid friendly as they can run and play around in the grass area in front of the restaurant. Highly recommend if out for a family day or a late night with friends with beer in hand.

The restaurant is located in an old bank building and the ambiance here is lovely. We chose the 5 course for two which is chef selected. It did not disappoint. We started with the polenta fries with the tomato basil aioli dipping sauce. The fries were hot, crispy and loaded with flavor. The sauce gave them a nice punch of flavor and was a nice addition. Next, we had the green goddess which included shaved asparagus and snow peas with mixed greens which was a lovely departure from your run of the mill Green Goddess. The lemon zest and ricotta balanced each other nicely. Next was the porchetta genovese pizza. Delicious! The olive oil flavor from the pesto sauce was stellar. We each had a slice and took the four remaining slices home so we could finish the two additional courses to come. Next, the Mafalda Cacciatore, a braised rabbit ragu. The meat was moist and the homemade pasta is the stuff dreams are made of. We finished our dinner with the tiramisu. Left to my own devices, I wouldn't have chosen tiramisu, so I'm happy it was chef's choice. This tiramisu was head and shoulders above all past tiramisu's I've eaten. The ladyfingers were moist without being soggy, the coffee flavor was strong without being overwhelming and the zabione was creamy deliciousness. I'm going to dream about this dessert. I just know it. Our server was Natalie and she has truly perfected the art of her craft. She timed our meal beautifully, described each dish she delivered, and answered our questions. On top of that she had a warm and friendly personality to boot. Finally, I have no idea how Della Terra has a rating below a 4! I'm absolutely baffled. I read a LOT of reviews and I love good food and good service. Both of these things are in abundance here. The ambience as I said is wonderful and their background music is at the perfect level. We were able to have conversation throughout our meal without yelling or repeating. So refreshing. Run, don't walk, to dine at Della Terra tonight! You can thank me later.

Very relaxing atmosphere and look forward to next time.

I did not have this shop on my radar and only found it because we were in Zelienople. It is located on a side street right off Main Street and parking was easy as there were a number of spots both in front and just past it. The shop itself is welcoming with a dark brown colored floor, a grey brick coffee bar and a wooden board ceiling. The tables are all live edge and the photos around the shop focus on nature. There is also a small area with merchandise for sale. For my coffee this morning I decided to go with an Americano while my wife went with an iced vanilla latte. We also picked up a stamped gingerbread molasses shortbread cookie and a biscotti which we shared with our kids. The biscotti had a nice snap and great flavor while the gingerbread cookie was deep and rich with those warm gingerbread spices. It was good enough that I went back up and bought another one just for my wife. As for the coffee, both my wife and I really enjoyed it. My Americano came out piping hot. After letting it cool a bit I tried it and thought the flavor was excellent. Letting the coffee speak for itself was the right move here. It had some fruity notes before finishing with a natural sweetness that I really enjoy in coffee. I would not call it bold, probably due to the size of the Americano, but it certainly was not muted either. Honestly, if I had added milk or creamer to this cup I think it would have ruined the flavor that I liked so much. My only issue was that the bottom quarter of the cup had a lot of grounds in it. There were enough that I ended up throwing the rest away. I was also able to try my wife's coffee and really enjoyed what I think was a homemade vanilla flavoring. It almost had a caramel like note that paired nicely with the coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both liked the vibe of the shop and the coffee was very good. I only wish my Americano had not been filled with grounds at the bottom.

I ordered the classic Americano since I'm a hard man and no longer opt for the white chick sugar sippies. The coffee was hot, fresh and flavorful, and the mug it came in was as sturdy as a light post. The ladies at the counter were cheerful and knowledgeable about the confusing menu. I'll be back to Zelienople once the weather stops freezing my plums every time I step outside wearing shorts.
