Had the souther waffle which had cheddar and spicy sausage, but there was really nothing spicy about it, and the waffle was pretty soggy. We were seated almost immediately after arriving. After being seated, it went downhill. It had been 15-20 mins, and no one had said hi or taken our drink order. A waitress came to the table next to us, and when I said "Excuse me" three times, she continued to walk away. After having to ask the hostess who our waitress was, she came over a few minutes later. We ordered our drinks and meals. We got our drinks probably 5 mins later and after an hour of waiting we got our food. The food was cool, but the bacon was so crispy that it fell apart. This could have been a 5 star. The food is really good. The service? Not so much. My first experience, I had to ask for silverware 3 times. After every time, the waitress would return and ask if we needed anything else. Every time "silverware" and she would go get it, return and ask if we needed anything else. Again, "silverware". Today's visit, it wasn't just the silverware. It was that, after our waitress delivered our food. She looked sounds good the table and asked if we needed anything else. Silverware and condiments. She did promptly return with it all. Another reason for the 3 stares, it took nearly an hour to get our food from when we were seated. We were acknowledged immediately upon being sat, yet an hour wait. This, while we watched others around who arrived around the same time, ate, paid and left. It took another 20 or so minutes for her to return for us to pay. I'll return one more time. If this is the norm, I'll move on to another eatery. The unfortunate aspect of this? We are habitual with places we eat. Once we like a place, we visit weekly. A few simple customary components can make or break a loyal customer. read more

This place is awesome!!!! The service is out of this world. We went to Pittsburgh for a weekend and found this place on our way home small main st USA but big flavors. I had there homemade sausage gravy over homemade waffles. My wife had there homemade waffles with chocolate peanut butter and bananas. On top they have locally roasted coffee that is excellent. The service was amazing our coffee was never empty and she made great recommendations. If we are in the area again we will be back for sure read more

A nice spot in Beaver. Restaurant space was nice, bathrooms were pretty dirty by the end of the day when we were there. They serve alcohol which is unique to Beaver. Our waiter was totally apathetic and not very attentive, it wasn't even very busy. It took longer for us to order our food than for our food to arrive. The food was fantastic, I had the "Sacre Bleu-Berry" French toast, the peach cream cheese and honey mascarpone spread were so good. Their home fries are fantastic, seasoned really well. Prices are reasonable. Probably wouldn't go back to this location given the poor service which is a shame given how good the food was. read more

Frustrating: They no longer use the Yelp wait system... My boyfriend and I drove 40 minutes specifically to eat at Waffles Incaffeinated. We joined the waitlist when we left the house because the wait time was listed as 40+ minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant, I tried checking in with the waitress. She said that they were supposed to use the Yelp no wait until November 1st, but something was messed up and they immediately got rid of it. I explained that we drove a long way and planned to be seated when we arrived... long story short: we had to get in a new line after talking to her. The hostess was very kind, and I know it is not her fault, but c'mon... they need to notify their customers or send a message out somehow! On the other hand, the food was good. I had a basic banana Nutella half waffle with a side of home fries. I was disappointed that they switched up their home fries without warning because I was really looking forward to their signature tricolored medley. My boyfriend got the breakfast tacos, which he enjoyed. Best part: The chai latte was phenomenal! Overall, I don't think this place is anything to swoon over. It's just a typical, overpriced breakfast joint without any cozy decor. All aspects of my first visit surpassed my second visit by far. Proud to live where the original Waffles Inc is before it took over pittsburgh. I usually get the chicken and waffles with the bourbon syrup and today it was COVERED in pecans. I do find the place to be a bit expensive for breakfast but it's one of those "treat yourself" spots. The potatoes are my favorite thing on the menu though. Lightly dusted in ranch dust. read more

Detailed review: Came here on a Saturday and only had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. However once we were, they ran out of knives and our mimosas were served in hot to go cups. Also the entrance and waiting area is set up in a really confusing way. Benny: 4/5 This eggs Benedict waffle was way better than I was expecting. The thick ham on the bottom and the crab meat on top threw me off but once I tried it I completely understood. The only thing I would change is the waffle was very soft halfway through. I also asked for no ham. I ordered a cappuccino with almond milk. My grandma ordered the straw-nana crepes and a coffee. My mom ordered the mega berry waffle for her and my daughter to share. It's large. My mom and grandma both liked their meals and said they were delicious. My grandma did not like the coffee. Said "it's lousy." Lol. The fruits were all fresh. The whip cream was good my daughter and mom said. The maple syrup is watery. My omelet was cooked perfect. Good amount of meat inside and they left out the ham as requested. Side of bacon is small, three pieces. The dish was garnished with a seasoned sun dried tomato which tasted good. The cheese inside the omelet was gooey. Not really a fan of the bagged shredded cheddar. My cappuccino was okay. I wouldn't order one from here again though. Would try Kolache across the street for coffee. I do appreciate that they have almond milk and soy milk as options. Outdoor seating was nice and spaced appropriately. Prices aren't bad. Awesome portion sizes. Very filling. I visited waffles incaffinated at the Beaver location today. I hadn't been there in about two years. And wow did the quality go downhill. I ordered the magic waffle combination with an egg on top. My waffle was clearly cooked earlier in the day and reheated as it was soft and mushy. I could press down with my fork and make the waffle completely flat. There was a little sprinkle of cheese on the plate, some scallions and a smear of sour cream and that's about it. Very unappetizing. This used to be my favorite choice when I went there regularly. Also, let's not mention the fact that our seating area could use a good cleaning. We had three or four fruit flies, flying around our table the entire time while we were eating... In November. Decided to treat myself for a late Mother's Day. I called in at 8:15am to make sure they were accepting take out orders. They were not open yet but he still took my order and told me to come around 9:30 to pick up, they do not open until 9. He was very friendly. I arrived on time and paid for my order, waited maybe an extra 10 minutes, no big deal, and was on my way home. Staff was friendly. I got breakfast for myself and my son. The take out packaging is nice, they are reusable containers. I feel like some things may have been left out/off of the waffles so I'm not going to give 5 stars, but the food was still delicious. We got the taste of waffles combo (picture from website attached along with my pictures). My son devoured his. I could not finish mine. There was no onions or sour cream on the bacon/cheese quarter. And I believe they forgot the gravy of the 'sausage and gravy' quarter. My favorites were the sweet waffles, the blueberry with peach cream cheese was amazing. This place is super cool. The majority of the menu is waffle based. They have both sweet and savory items made with waffles as well as sandwiches. They also have traditional breakfast items like eggs. The coffee was very good. I got a sampler type meal with basically 4 waffle quarters topped two sweet and two savory. My favorite is the sausage gravy. It's probably one of the best sausage gravies I've had. The other toppings were also very good and creative. The service was very good. Although the place looked full, we got a seat immediately. It is well staffed, and there is fast turnaround, yet They don't rush you. It seemed like some people were there for a nice social breakfast and others a quick bite, so no matter your schedule or plan, they seem to accommodate. They can text you when they're ready. It appears their wait isn't so bad if you go earlier. We arrived a little before 10:30am on a Saturday morning. Everyone had a seat. I saw a few tables open and there was no wait line. My point? Be aware of the day and time you go. - Location. It's in downtown Beaver, which is a nice and convenient location. There's other shops and restaurants around. Even if you do end up waiting, it looks like there are other places to amuse you. What's Not - Price. My Benny was $12 with no sides. You're paying for quality, not portions. That's not a bad thing, but be aware that your money doesn't stretch far. - Portions. Small and somewhat sufficient. It depends on how hungry you are when you go. My point is that if you arrive hungry, 1 order may not be enough for you. Their orders don't come with sides, which sucks.
