Very nice RV park, tucked right along the Boulder River with a small creek running through the center of the campground. Some of the riverfront sites are truly lovely -- peaceful, scenic, and exactly what you hope for when camping near the water. The little store is handy, and the shower houses and laundry were impressively clean. I do think the price runs a bit high for what you get. Also worth noting: the fishing pond is no longer there, though with that amazing river flowing by, you may not miss it. Con: It's a bit of a drive off the highway, so plan for that extra time. Overall, a beautiful spot if you're looking for a quiet river setting and don't mind paying a little more for it. read more

This campground is much improved from when it had two ponds and lots of insects/mosquitos. Lovely creek and trees. Nice place to walk. Quiet and easy access. Level sites. Very well maintained. Nice, helpful staff. Online reservations and open year round. Quaint shops in Big Timber and the Big Timber Bakery are a plus. Several options for food and drinks in Big Timber. The Natural Bridge in Gallatin-Custer National Forest is just outside of town - and worth the visit. read more

They went out of their way to find a spot for us. We called late afternoon on Friday on Labor Day weekend. We were traveling from Alaska and on our 8th day. We had a change in plans so didn't have any reservation or idea where we would stop for the night. We called around 5 pm. They were looking how they could accommodate us and we then we were disconnected due to poor service. It was 30+minutes later when we could reach them. They had saved us a spot and were waiting for us. We had a beautiful spot on Boulder Creek. This was the nicest campground we had our entire trip ! After we parked our 30 foot MH a man came to check to see if we needed anything. Campground offered a lot but we could not stay but one night. We would love to come back and stay a few days. Campground was quiet and dark at night. Highly recommend this place. Great for families and groups. read more

Spring Creek was an excellent stay and I would recommend to anyone! Close to downtown and next to a flowing river, the best of both worlds really. We stayed here two nights in a 43 foot motorhome. Quick check in. Escorted to site. Wonderful spot by the river. Gravel site but level. Good water pressure. Secluded and quiet. Slept with windows open and enjoyed hearing river. Park has pond, pavilion, playground for those traveling with children. Well kept and quiet. read more

Great service. I just wish I'd been a little further from the creek which was more of a river when I was there. A bit too loud right next to the rapids. But the most level and soft ground I found on this trip. I want to check out the trout pads when I return. read more

Beautiful RV park on the river. Unfortunately the guy checking us in was rude. He cut off our truck as we pulled in to the park. We stopped at the stop sign to check in and he pulled right in front of our truck like he was a cop giving a ticket. His attitude was also very rude. The big problem was he knocked on our drivers side window to roll it down. Unfortunately my husband did, but my husband was wearing a mask. This man then got like 6" in his face to question us about our reservation which we did have one. This went on for awhile until my husband rolled the window up halfway on him. This guy is anti mask and anti personal space and doesn't care about your health or his own. If you stay here and do care about Covid then please don't roll your window down for this man. Get your mask on and then get out of your vehicle and try to distance if you can. Won't stay here again because of this. read more

I really don't want to give Springcreek a great review because I don't want them to get so busy myself and my group can get back in here easily. However this is our second you're spending a weekend here and Tammy and Rob have gone out of their way to help us make this a great experience. The people of big timber Montana are very friendly and super nice. The restaurants, bakery and hardware store are super cool. Our group of around 50 class B RVs are already planning to come back next year and we haven't left yet. read more

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. Camp is clean and nice. We dry camped in our RV and I'm glad, lots more space as the full hook ups are real close together. There are many fees, extra people, if you want to add a tent to a site you already paid, you have to pay more, etc. We enjoyed our spot near the river and would stay again read more

Rude rude rude! The most unfriendly staff we've encountered camping. Spot was mediocre, all gravel back-in along the river.

This place is downright awesome! Campsites are widely spaced, each site is covered in gorgeous green grass and nicely leveled. All sites have a nice picnic table and an in-ground, stone lined fire Pit! Many sites back right up to the creek ( love the sound of the rushing water) and even those that don't get the sound of the water. I didn't take advantage of the trout ponds, but what a bonus to bring your grandkids here and let them catch a whopper. Camp hosts Donna and Judy were super friendly and knowledgeable. Wish I lived closer, as I would DEFINITELY make this one a regular stop. Note: being next to the creek means they do have mosquitoes, so be sure to pack your favorite repellant! read more

This is a nice quiet campground a couple of miles south of Big Timber. The only negative is that is was kind of buggy where we were, but hey, there's a river and a bunch of woods there. Be careful in the bathroom as there is a 3 inch rise in the middle of it, and it's easy to trip over. The people were nice, and it's a convenient location if you are hauling ass across Montana on I90 read more
