Pretty nursery, but the cashier wasn't very helpful or nice. She wasn't rude , technically. She just wasn't helpful .

Not too friendly to the tourists but they had a beautiful nursery with a variety of plants.

Wonderful people, very knowledgeable. Great selection for a town the size of Mt. Shasta. Willing to order what they don't have for you.

Hello Innovation! Where have you been? Super excited to try out the nursery's new Beer Garden and…read morewood fired pizza kitchen! They have done a fantastic job with the set-up of the food truck-like kitchen, pizza oven/ bar area and pergola, and the seating areas able to accommodate 70 customers. The pizza was delicious and baked in record time in their imported Italian, wood fired oven. The pizza was crisp, nicely browned and covered with lovely toppings. I tried the kale n avocado salad which was yummy, topped with a light vinegarette and sunflower seeds. We did not have a beer, but you can also choose from a variety of canned sodas or self-serve famous Mount Shasta water. Only thing that would make the experience better would be some fresh brewed ice tea! Such a great atmosphere! So much better than an indoor eatery during our warm season! Give it a try!

This is a follow up to my review of the landscape services after the owner responded (but notably…read moremakes excuses and offers no true apology): Regarding the owner's response, there was never any offering to go back out to address these issues without charge. I had to argue several times over email with their manager just to get them to offer to send the technician back out, and finally they offered to go out begrudgingly after I said I was not paying for services not yielded. So this is dishonest and frankly, disappointing to come from a local business owner, who has never reached out to me personally and has my email... Re the work not done-- These were obvious, overt landscape issues with overgrowing and infiltrative, blackberry bushes, a front bush that was reaching the roof of my porch, and a whole side of my house that had been ignored, as later admitted to by the manager. But this was only after I had to plead and argue with them to come back out for their 'initial clean up.' The owner states they can not do it all, but again, this was a basic minimum-- nothing grand was done at my house (but heaven forbid they ask for their landscapers to do a good job for $250 on a small cottage property that is otherwise good condition ). I guess that doesn't include invasive vines in your yard, overgrown bushes, overgrown fire hazard weeds and bushes along one whole side of the house... so buyer beware. If you look at their other one poor review (out of just a handful for the on site nursery and for On Tap, the restaurant- different businesses essentially), she pretty much echoes what I am saying. So obviously, this is a pattern for them, and I certainly would not trust to refer them to any of my friends or family members locally. A professional business would reach out to the customer, try to make it right, instead of just further accusing the customer. I think it speaks volumes and reflects poorly on business philosophy and customer service experience when a business owner responds this way instead of asking to reach out to the customer for further resolve, or just to apologize and promise to improve services and poor management.

What drew me into the store were the Mary Lake Thompson cotton dish towels in the window. If you…read moredon't know these lint free towels, you must purchase them. All of the lovely artwork on the towels is done by Mary and her daughter and made in Oroville, California. 5 stars for service! The two women who were working here were extremely helpful in showing me choices for a cheese spreader. I didn't find my perfect match but my husband and I both found lovely gifts for each other to remind us of our trip to Mount Shasta. My husband's was a cool, double walled stainless steel mug with artwork of Mount Shasta by local artist, Cailin Henson. The special addition on this was a red carabiner which does double duty as a "handle" and an attachment. My gift was a pretty 2 cup ceramic teapot in sage green with a stainless steel filter. Both are from a British company- Price and Kensington. If you're looking for gifts for yourself or someone else while shopping in Mount Shasta, be sure to make a stop here. It definitely competes with most kitchen stores with the breadth of merchandise. The salespeople told us that the buyer has recently expanded this department. Great work!
