We've been so blessed at Spring Hills! Pastor Bret is VERY knowledgeable in the Bible and has studied it immensely. The church offers a class called CORE- that is has an actual Bible theological school curriculum. My faith and knowledge of who God truly is has only increased since I took it. There are many small groups for every age and gender. Childcare is provided for many of them. The youth group is amazing. Our family is so blessed to call this church home. I treasure every single moment I'm on campus. It may seem like a "mega church" but you'll always be greeted and welcomed. Spring Hills looks great on the outside, but it is a rotting corpse under the surface. This isn't a church, it is a family business. Would anyone like to know the Pastor's Salary? Not even the elder board knows! For a Church running a 15 million dollar capital campaign that is asking church members to give completely to their capacity for the "Kingdom", there's definitely a lack of transparency there. I'm also not sure how soccer field fits into the work of the Kingdom, that sounds like a project for a local city council, and can be more easily funded through local supports. Why not actually get involved in the city you say you love so much? Finally, 2 weeks ago in his sermon, Pastor Brett explained to his congregation that you know God is at Spring Hills because they have great music and a pastor who doesn't preach to long, that there is something special happening at Spring Hills that isn't happening anywhere else. Any church that sets itself above other parts of the Body has a pride issue that will need to be dealt with at some point. Spring Hills is problematic on many levels and I would suggest thinking twice and asking some pertinent questions before making it your home church, and before giving funds that will go into the pockets of "pastors" who are really just family members. read more

I just want to worship I love this church! Always have, because it is very welcoming and caring. It is a marvelous Christian church. But recently, the Pastor passive/aggressivly suggested 100 percent in great sacrifice from each member to give a large portion of their income to him He will grow the church. Multiple baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, weight rooms, rec rooms and a basketball courts for the youth etc I am not a wealthy person, actually a poor widow. So I had to change churches.This church is perfect for very successful parents with young children!! Pastor Bret wants to have everybody commit, the goal is $15,000,000. read more

Thankful that a family I visited(from another State) a handful of years back invited me to 'their' church! I ended up moving here and kept up with attending Services at SH but not much in the way of a deeper person to person connection that I had with my former church(of 23 years!). What I enjoy about this church are the many young families and opportunities for their children to know Jesus, as well as adult small gatherings to build relationships. I also appreciate the organization that takes place for a church this size. One more noticeable feature, all the opportunities I see to volunteer! Thank you for being so welcoming in so many ways! I have gone several times sporadically for the last six months and a couple times years ago. Here are the positives: great kids activates and children's church, wonderful Christmas and Easter events, enjoyed the uplifting music, and the Pastor Brett is welcoming and gives engaging sermons with some humor tossed in. You will not fall asleep at this church. However, I have noticed an obvious undertone of Pro-Trump support in the message that is spoken indirectly. Pastor Brett does not hide his political views well, thus making me feel very disturbed. I noticed a lot of Trump support spouted by many church members too. Two Sundays ago, I was attending a service about tithing, and heard the Pastor say during his sermon, that the contractor who build the dam reservoir at Hetch Hetchy did a great service when he donated 90% of the wealth he earned building the (hydroelectric) dam to the church. He literally praised the man who destroyed Hetch Hetchy glacial Valley, the incredible "sister to Yosemite Valley". Preservationist and naturalist, John Muir died of a broken heart after years of fighting to save Hetch Hetchy failed and Congress authorized the dam construction. This rhetoric about Hetch Hetchy sent a clear message that Pastor Brett does not support protection of the environment and environmental policy. This all fits in with Pro-Trump undertones and preaching to the pro-Trump members of this church. God tells us in the Bible, that we are to be stewards of the Earth, not destroyers. This kind of preaching is not biblical. I let the staff know about it a week later at the information desk, and some of the staff were kind and willing to listen to my concerns, but another staff member came over like some sort of "church bouncer" and was shouting at me , spewing his Trump beliefs, and wouldn't let me speak. I felt very sickened and disheartened. I won't be returning here or bringing my kids here again for any activities. I feel so discouraged, that I feel turned off by church altogether. read more

I so much appreciate this church. The pastor does preach meaningful sermons from the Bible. He is not at all shallow, and reaches to the heart. Having studied 6 courses of Greek myself including Textual Criticism, I appreciate that he goes for the real meaning and does not add some other rendition of what he thinks the Bible passages meant. The people are sincere and friendly. I found loving and supportive new friends when I joined different small groups. The pastor is warm and welcoming. He can't stand at all exits at once, so if you want to chat with him, you may need to seek him out, but he is there for you. He and his wife show love and care for the people. The Bible warns us way from "lukewarm " churches. This church approaches that status. A smiling pastor doesn't change that. The fervency of belief is the desire of God. Revelation 3:16.. Still loud rock style music without traditional Christian hymns. People cannot sing along so they just stand. Sermons are read from the Bible but preparation seems lacking. I can read the Bible on my own. I need God inspired Pastoring. People generally walk in & walk out without much genuine conversation. I haven't seen the Pastor in the lobby chatting with members at all in recent visits. They have "small groups" but that doesn't seem to warm the worshippers. Cliques seem to exist. The attire is curiously very casual. I've seen people wearing flip flops, drinking coffee while worshipping, and even the Pastor wears jeans that are wrinkled. But, it is a Bible Church & that's needed in every community. read more

I've been attending Spring Hills for 7 years now. The preaching from the Bible just gets better and better. Pastor Brett makes no apologies for what Gods Word says but speaks the truth with love and kindness, not condemnation. Of course the music is exceptional and worship is rich. You feel Gods presence throughout the service. The Staff is wonderful, knowledgable and go above and beyond to help you when you need it. The small groups are amazing as well. I wasn't sure if I should stay at Spring Hills after my husband died but my small group kept me feel plugged in and not alone so here I am. This church. Wow. I have never looked forward to church until today. We attended our first service there on Easter Sunday, their 25 year anniversary. Pastor Brett is such a dynamic, "normal" and humorous pastor. The service is Bible-based, Jesus-centered and incredibly engaging. We went back this morning and his sermon (note: it doesn't feel like a sermon one bit, which is amazing) spoke to each and every one of us. We came out of church feeling like a million bucks and can't wait to go back next weekend. They have a Saturday evening service and 3 Sunday services, so it's pretty easy to get your Jesus each weekend! The band is wonderful and their song choices are amazing (and you don't feel like the band members are up there to show off, which I've seen at other contemporary "rock" churches). Casual, no-pressure atmosphere. I highly recommend you give it a shot - you will not regret it! read more

Mega Church has a LOT to offer. The people are friendly, good worship, good Sunday school and other events for your kids. Classes, support groups, etc. Highly recommend. My only comments in a negative fashion are;1) I don't care for the way the pastor preaches.(I won't expound on that as I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, 2) The pastor has made decisions I don't agree with (such as shutting down the gym and chucking the equipment, 3) I did NOT find "support" in the support groups I attended even though i was in GREAT need in every possible way. 4) I was in a desperate way financially, seriously desperate, and could find no church fund or anyone to help me even though they take in quite a large offering every week. I don't feel that that is very "supportive" of long-time attendees who have previously GIVEN to the offering on a regular basis. If they could work on the things mentioned above, I would upgrade my rating. That being said, there are a lot of nice people who attend the church and there are MANY man-hours of volunteer work that goes on every week. read more

I love listening to Pastor Brett's sermons. He is funny and articulate. He preaches from the scriptures in Bible, and I've never heard him make a derogatory comment about any group of people, which I appreciate that non-judging aspect of this church. There are 4 weekend services, which I find very convenient. They offer free coffee, tea, and snacks. There is awesome childcare during all but 1 service (8:15 am). The band does a great job at getting the crowd involved in singing along. However, it is kind of loud music which I feel lasts a little too long (about 30+ minutes). This church helps the community and offers many activities for families, especially during the holidays. I've been attending Spring Hills Church for years and plan on attending for years to come. read more

Contemporary & relevant. Good place for all ages. Worship music may seem a bit loud & you might not recognize all of the songs, but the teaching is relatable, Bible-based, inspiring, and no "fire & brimstone". The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the facilities are nice, otherwise as far as a church goes, I will not be returning. I experienced one of the worst sermons of my entire life this last sunday (prior sermons were good, Brett, the pastor lacks everyday knowledge but is a good speaker). This sermon was different. Pastor Brett openly spoke out against the healing abilities of god. He made statements contradicting many teachings of the Bible, including the existence of a Holy Spirit who speaks to you and a God who answers your prayers. I would never recommend this church on the premise of the pastor not teaching the word of God and for teaching his own personal doctrine and beliefs. I will not be returning as long as someone who is teaching against the word of the lord is pastor there. Very sad that someone like himself is misleading so many new christians who dont know the truth. read more
