I was passing by this area when I decided to re-visit Spring 'N Fresh Rolls, an old haunt. As you know, this can be a risky undertaking if you haven't been there in a long time. I am glad that I revisited it recently. The ambiance was good. They even added new menu items to keep things fresh like their name. Freshly baked pastries like cookies, muffins, mini loaves, tarts and croissants from Yellow Boat Cà Phê. A poster on the wall advertised a dessert called Chè Ba Màu which is a Vietnamese 3 Colour Bean Dessert served with ice, sweet red beans, mung beans, jello and coconut cream. I was glad to see it being busy during the early dinner hours. You know that saying...this place isn't as good as it used to be? Well it doesn't apply here. This is not her first time going to this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. The service is terrific. The dishes are very generous and portion and very flavorful. I spoke with Cindy the manager and she informed me that the restaurant has been around for over eight years, and that they go every morning to the market for fresh and gradient. This shows in the calibre and the quality of the food The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the quantity of food that is provided. We highly recommend it. Affordable and Family Friendly! We stopped into Spring N' Fresh Rolls after a long day during a family outing. We were not in the mood to drive back home before eating and the kids were hungry. I Googled restaurants in the area and we decided on this place to eat. Spring N' Fresh Rolls serves their Take on Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. On the visit, we tried some of our favourites like the House Special Pho, Grilled Beef and Pork Vermicelli, Mixed Vegetables and Tofu Noodle Soup and of course, a couple of orders of Crispy Spring Rolls and for dessert, the kids had the Thai Five Flavour Fruit Dessert. The food was inexpensive and for the price surprisingly good. We also noticed that all of our dishes tasted fresh and it did not seem like anything was frozen. This is a great place for Viet-Thai cuisine which serves very good food at an affordable price, with generous portions. It is family-friendly and offers some discounts when you pay cash. We couldn't even finish the spring rolls which were really good! Got to pack it up and take it home to finish. They definitely packed those spring rolls... Hefty lil thing. I would like to try their pho - it seemed light which I liked when they gave me a sample with my rice dish. They do provide booster seats so you can eat with you lil one. Also cash 10% discount. Yummy and affordable Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered the house special pho, chicken spring rolls, and the grilled chicken vermicelli to go. The house special pho was packed with noodles and meat - it also came with a few rare pieces of beef. No problem, we reheated the broth so we were able to cook the beef. The broth was okay - I think it needs more depth as it was missing the deep meaty flavour. However, the chicken spring rolls were very crispy and definitely were fried fresh. Make sure to dip the rolls in the fish sauce for extra flavour! My favourite was the grilled chicken vermicelli which was a refreshing dish that came with crunchy nuts and veggies to mix in. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions are generous, making it a tasty filling meal. The prices are affordable for the portions you get. We discovered this affordable Vietnamese restaurant quite by accident. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by their quiet and courteous service. A young man served us water as soon as we sat down, and when I commented that the water was a little on the warm side, he quickly provided us with a plastic cup full of ice cubes. We ordered the Grilled Pork Chop & Chicken with Rice and Grilled Beef & Chicken with Rice. The presentation of the food was superb. There was a broth soup, salad, and a sweet sauce to go with our orders. We would have loved to give them a higher rating, but regrettably the chicken and beef were a little rubbery in texture and the pork was not marinated properly. We did note that the restaurant is family friendly and there is a 10% discount offered for cash orders over $35 (before taxes). Giving 5 stars for what it is Affordable, massive portions of food, and decent/quick service. Get your Viet fix for pho and bun here. Two sizes of pho, regular and large. Both are massive and can be shared. The pork chop with fried egg and rice was delicious. Pho had tons of noodles and reasonable amount of beef Spring rolls were awesome. I didn't feel safe eating it. Then I found a dead fly on the beef. I was DISGUSTED. I didn't even get to enjoy my food. Second, I ordered 607 Grilled Pork Chop, Beef, Chicken and Fried egg. After catching a movie at Eglinton town Center we decided to try this place after reading the reviews here on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! The Menu is extensive, offering Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese cuisine and the restaurant is very clean. Service is quick and courteous. After placing our order the served us free green tea, and our cutlery/chopsticks were delivered in a pitcher half filled with steaming hot water. This was the first thing that impressed me. The food was fantastic. We started with the authentic fried Vietnamese spring rolls, and the fresh shrimp rolls. Both were fantastic in freshness, size and flavour. We also ordered the beef, pork, chicken and fried egg on rice, which came with a clear chicken stock soup. All meats were seasoned well. The soup was just a tad too salty for me though. We also ordered Beef Pho. It was fantastic with a good amount of beef, noodles and the bean sprouts. We noticed several families in the restaurant who ordered the hot pot. It looked really good with very fresh ingredients. I'd like to try this one day. Our overall impression was good. Holy MSG!!! Now before you throw your hands up in disbelief I am going throw you a disclaimer; I don't have anything against MSG. Actually, I think it's a very useful flavour enhancer in moderation of course. I usually don't get bothered by it too much as I am Asian myself and we're quite used to it. However, this is really something else. Even a miracle additive like MSG does have it's limits and when you do get pass that threshold, your food starts tasting a little surreal. And this was my experience. The soup tastes super concentrated, beyond flavour comprehension. The vermicelli can be dismissed and stay away from the very tempting (deliciously sounding) pumpkin curry soup; that stuff made me gagged a little - seriously. One of my favourite Viet restaurants in the city, Spring N Fresh is a great place to grab dinner, especially after hitting up the nearby Cineplex. My favourite is the vermicelli with beef and spring roll: flavourful, filling, and cheap (#504, if I remember correctly). Pay cash and get free drinks! The Che Thai is refreshing and sweet, as is the lime juice with sugar. Service is fast, and the restaurant is clean. I've been here at least 20 times, and I'll probably return for 20 more! read more

Appears to be under new management as I remember it being called another name. Lay out is clean, and service really friendly. Liked how they provide your utensils in a pitcher with hot water, sort of as a reminder that you are receiving clean utensils. Food was super tasty. Arrived hot, fresh and well laid out. Portions were more than enough. Usually I would have a lot of rice on my plate, but happy to see that the meat empowered the plate. My only con would be that they didn't provide the fish sauce with my meal but I'm sure I could hold off on the extra 1000mg of sodium it contains. This review is long overdue. Came here with my family when they first opened.. Thought the food was okay... the pho portion and price was fine but the soup tastes a bit light and different. slightly bland./ The fried foods were not cooked well. coconut shrimp overfried and a bit burnt and hard, I also ordered the pork chops with broken rice which was soso. Let's say I've had better. The service was nice and we got an opening discount. But overall, think they need to improve the way they cook fried foods and appetizers. The service here is great. I really wanted to like this place. It's run by a nice family. After you order they bring out your utensils in a jug of hot water for sanitizing. I ordered one of their Thai dessert drinks and that was really yummy. I ordered a bowl of pho and the broth was lacking in flavour. The beans sprouts it came with were fresh. It was a good portion size. Price was on the higher end compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.
