    Grilled shrimp on skewers

This is not her first time going to this wonderful Vietnamese restaurant. The service is terrific. The dishes are very generous and portion and very flavorful. I spoke with Cindy the manager and she informed me that the restaurant has been around for over eight years, and that they go every morning to the market for fresh and gradient. This shows in the calibre and the quality of the food The prices are quite reasonable given the quality of the quantity of food that is provided. We highly recommend it. It has become a go to place when we see Vietnamese food.

Affordable and Family Friendly! We stopped into Spring N' Fresh Rolls after a long day during a family outing. We were not in the mood to drive back home before eating and the kids were hungry. I Googled restaurants in the area and we decided on this place to eat. Spring N' Fresh Rolls serves their Take on Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. On the visit, we tried some of our favourites like the House Special Pho, Grilled Beef and Pork Vermicelli, Mixed Vegetables and Tofu Noodle Soup and of course, a couple of orders of Crispy Spring Rolls and for dessert, the kids had the Thai Five Flavour Fruit Dessert. The food was inexpensive and for the price surprisingly good. We also noticed that all of our dishes tasted fresh and it did not seem like anything was frozen. This is a great place for Viet-Thai cuisine which serves very good food at an affordable price, with generous portions. It is family-friendly and offers some discounts when you pay cash. If we are in this area again and looking for an affordable place to eat with good food, then we will stop in again.

Bang for your buck. Everything tastes fresh and not frozen. I enjoyed the rice dish and my husband enjoyed the vermicelli. Alot of food and we were pretty stuffed. We couldn't even finish the spring rolls which were really good! Got to pack it up and take it home to finish. They definitely packed those spring rolls... Hefty lil thing. I would like to try their pho - it seemed light which I liked when they gave me a sample with my rice dish. They do provide booster seats so you can eat with you lil one. Also cash 10% discount. I'm not sure if there was a minimum. Service was good, they were always doing something and cleaning tables. Great turnover.

Yummy and affordable Vietnamese cuisine. We ordered the house special pho, chicken spring rolls, and the grilled chicken vermicelli to go. The house special pho was packed with noodles and meat - it also came with a few rare pieces of beef. No problem, we reheated the broth so we were able to cook the beef. The broth was okay - I think it needs more depth as it was missing the deep meaty flavour. However, the chicken spring rolls were very crispy and definitely were fried fresh. Make sure to dip the rolls in the fish sauce for extra flavour! My favourite was the grilled chicken vermicelli which was a refreshing dish that came with crunchy nuts and veggies to mix in. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions are generous, making it a tasty filling meal. The prices are affordable for the portions you get. Would recommend if you're looking for a good bowl of noodles!

We discovered this affordable Vietnamese restaurant quite by accident. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by their quiet and courteous service. A young man served us water as soon as we sat down, and when I commented that the water was a little on the warm side, he quickly provided us with a plastic cup full of ice cubes. We ordered the Grilled Pork Chop & Chicken with Rice and Grilled Beef & Chicken with Rice. The presentation of the food was superb. There was a broth soup, salad, and a sweet sauce to go with our orders. We would have loved to give them a higher rating, but regrettably the chicken and beef were a little rubbery in texture and the pork was not marinated properly. We did note that the restaurant is family friendly and there is a 10% discount offered for cash orders over $35 (before taxes). Also, this place does not demand a tip from its customers like so many places do these days.

Good but I ordered Shrimp rolls for the small container the owner was kind enough to say sorry and I was able to get a partial refund on uber eats! I order from them all the time, this is not going to stop me from ordering again because the rolls are so fresh!

A lot of confusion at this newly opened Vietnamese and Thai restaurant Spring 'n Fresh Rolls. As I was standing near the door waiting to be acknowledged. The feel is authentic enough as a lot of Vietnamese speaking patrons and the side veggie that goes with whatever at the next tables were the freshest I seen in GTA. Goi Cuon Bo Ga ($5.50) Grilled Chicken Roll as a snack since I am going to have dinner in 90 minute or so was perfect. Grand Opening Special till June 30 for dine in but you need to order $25 pre tax... I guess I need to with some one.. Cash or Interac only!

    Tom yum noodle soup (tofu).

Perfect and huge! The veggies stay crisp for a long time and the broth is wonderful. I hear the lunch specials are good too!

Pork chop egg rice, spring rolls, and regular pho

Giving 5 stars for what it is Affordable, massive portions of food, and decent/quick service. Get your Viet fix for pho and bun here. Two sizes of pho, regular and large. Both are massive and can be shared. The pork chop with fried egg and rice was delicious. Pho had tons of noodles and reasonable amount of beef Spring rolls were awesome. Large and crispy At the time they had a promotion where if you spent $12 per person, you get a free drink (only available until August 2018 I think). I got Thai coffee which was very good, and wife got lime juice which was refreshing, she found it sweet. Oh and very reasonable prices. Regular pho is below the double digit mark. Will definitely be back

Great pho spot located near Eglinton town centre and Eglinton movie theatre. This little place is a great restaurant to pick up some Vietnamese food either take out or to dine in. Pros: 1) Huge Portions (Great bang for buck) 2) Cheap price (everything on the menu under $15!) 3) Free Ice coffee for every $14 spent on the total bill 4) Cozy and clean (Compared to other restaurants of the same type) Cons: 1) For certain promotions they only accept cash

    Free drinks

Specifically marked on our order no peanuts due to an allergy. Pad Thai comes out with peanuts on it. Appetizer dish of fresh spring rolls came out last out of four dishes.

    201 house hair special!!!!
    Neth N.

I ordered house special 201, half way to the on eating I found a long hair inside the the pho. I am disgusted and never took a single bite from it after. Plus I still got charged $5 for it...

    Blue beef brisket meat

I ordered through Uber Eats. Once I got my food, It was disgusting. First, I ordered 203 Brisket Beef Noodle Soup. My beef brisket had blue parts which did not look normal. I didn't feel safe eating it. Then I found a dead fly on the beef. I was DISGUSTED. I didn't even get to enjoy my food. Second, I ordered 607 Grilled Pork Chop, Beef, Chicken and Fried egg. Everything was burnt and overcooked. The bottom of the egg was black. The meats were so overcooked that you couldn't even bite into it. This will be the last time I order from this place.

Clean Cutlery/chopsticks brought to the table in a pitcher half filled with steaming hot clean water.

The restaurant has a lot of smaller tables, making it feel cozy, and the service was super friendly. I ordered the dry boat noodles with egg noodles and they were so good. The side of broth was absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best parts of the meal. Rich, flavorful, and so comforting. I kept alternating between bites of noodles and sips of broth. There was chili oil on the table, and I definitely got a little carried away. It was seriously spicy, but somehow I couldn't stop eating. My mouth was on fire, but every bite made me want another. Even after leaving, I kept thinking about those noodles. I also liked that there are several noodle options to choose from depending on what texture you're craving. Between the delicious food, great broth, and kind service, this is definitely a spot I'd come back to again.

I'm definitely coming back here!…read more We ordered the Tapioca dumplings, the beef messemen curry, and the mango and purple sticky rice. Wow! It was all so tasty. The tapioca dumplings are unlike anything I've tasted before. They serve it with a side of lettuce, mint and peanuts. I liked the dumplings better without the sides they served! The lettuce and other add ons dim the flavors of the dumplings. So I prefer just eating the dumplings straight on. The Messemen curry was so flavorful and the beef was so tender! I'm a big fan. If you're a fan of Thai curries then you'll definitely like this! The Mango purple sticky rice dessert was also really tasty! It had a tasty coconut sorbet and it all went really well together. Unfortunately, the day took an unexpected turn when I had to go to the hospital, and for a while I thought I wouldn't make it at all. As a testament to both the kindness of my friends and the exceptional staff at Lao Lao, they were able to accommodate us even though I arrived nearly two hours late on a busy Saturday evening. Originally, our table was only reserved until 8:00 p.m.--the exact time I finally arrived. Thankfully, with the help of our incredible server, Savanna N., everything worked out. Her professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help truly made the evening possible. More than anything, I hoped the wait would be worthwhile for my friends, who were visiting for the first time. I'm happy to say they absolutely loved it--especially the outstanding hospitality and customer service. A huge thank you to Savanna and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. As for the food, every dish was delicious. Nothing disappointed. The papaya salad was such a hit that we ordered it twice. The Beef Massaman Curry, Crispy Lao Spiced Chips, Banana Leaf Steamed Fish, and the seasonal Vermicelli Noodle in Chicken Coconut Red Curry were all exceptional. Although it had been about a year since my last visit, I was delighted to see that Lao Lao remains consistently excellent in its food, quality, and service. Bravo!

Overall: A+ // 6 stars…read more High quality Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant that really lives up to the title with the authentic Thai flavors at a good value. The menu features a number of classic favorites, all of which are some of the best I've tasted of the cuisine. It tasted great the first time I visited in 2023 and even better when I returned in 2026! Pad See Ew - Excellent execution of the classic; love the tenderness of the chicken, and the tenderness of the leaves while retaining its texture. The authentic sweetness and garlic peppery notes come through well in the noodles as well. Mango Sticky Rice - Showshopping dessert that elevates the classic with added fun with the white chocolate shell; the mango is juicily well selected, while the sticky rice is softly warm and comforting. The coconut and rice flakes add another layer of dimensionality as well. It tastes even better than the version I had in 2023. Pad Thai Lunch - Had this back in 2023 which came with a soup, a curry, a noodle, and an appetizer which was spectacular value. The hot and sour soup was well balanced with acidity and spice; the green curry chicken could properly propagate the herbaceousness of the curry through the spice without being too spicy; the egg roll was properly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. And of course, the pad thai has those authentically bold notes of sweet, sour, salty that I am looking for. I found the dishes to be quite heavy-handed on the seasoning (borderline too salty), so the variety helps. Panang Curry - very flavorful, slightly sweet, and very savory. Had a nice kick to it! Som Tum Tod (fried papaya salad) - ordered it because it was their signature but I thought it was too salty and crunchy. And I got kind of tired of the fried aspect of it. Wished I ordered the fresh papaya salad instead. The heat and garlic is nice though. Decently sized portion so you can share it with the whole table. Pad Woonsen Cha-Om (Minced Pork & glass noodle, egg, garlic and acacia leaves) - my first time trying this dish! It was really good! It kind of filled the role of "fried rice" to me, mellowing out all of the stronger flavours of the other dishes. Still quite flavourful on its own too. Felt like a Thai-spin on the Korean dish, Japchae. Kai Yang (grilled chicken) - oh my gosh the sauce this chicken comes with is TO DIE FOR. I want to buy it or learn how to make it. It's so fragrant, fresh, spicy, aromatic, and just the right amount of fishy and acidic. We were very full sharing these 4 dishes between 3 people. For the fact that this is Michelin Bib Gourmand, I think it is well-priced and a great place to try!
