The room was very comfortable and we had both an interior door and an exterior entrance as well. They have lots of activities like games and books, etc. The location is perfect since its out in the woods but still close to Hot Springs. There is great hiking very nearby as well. Sitting on the porch relaxing, delicious snacks, all homemade. The breakfasts were amazing each day; we were so full. Conversations with Joe and Cody and we met mom Sharon. It was like staying with good friends. I cannot thank them enough for all the hospitality. We walked into town daily, visited their Saturday farmer's market. Joe cooked us a 5-course meal for Saturday night, wow, again high light of our trip. I haven't seen that much fine dinnerware and crystal in I don't know how long. It was so much fun. When we were there, the house was so beautifully decorated for Christmas, inside and out. We stayed in the East Chamber, a beautiful suite on the 2nd floor. All the rooms have large jacuzzi tubs, but our suite had it situated in front of an electric fireplace. We could not have been happier with our beautiful and comfortable room. Joe is a self trained chef, and his palette and skills are beyond compare. When we arrived, there was a freshly made chocolate cake with raspberry filling, house made cookies all the time, and other snacks and drinks available all the time. His breakfast is sumptuous and perfectly delicious, with offerings that change every day. He is also very mindful of dietary restrictions and does everything to please his guests. Absolutely everything is made from scratch, from Chorizo to teriyaki sauce, Joe does it all. If you book in advance, he will even do a special dinner on Saturday night. We were away from the road and it was so quiet. It was just nostalgic for us to stay in an older "motel" atmosphere that had been refurbished so nicely. The location is so convenient too. There was hair in the bathtub. The room smelled musty, like a really old house. The mini split did not cool the upfront room with the day bed. We booked a room for 4 and there was only one day bed for two people in the eating area. Luckily we got a king sized bed and my daughter could share with me and my husband. Our son got the day bed. Pool? What pool? There isn't one, so don't expect to find one if you go looking for it. I don't even see where a pool could have been. They have a dog turn out relief area and have tools to pick up after your pet. Check for dog crap before you let your dog out. They have a rake a dog scoop for you to use and still people didn't use it. Not sure how often they check that area because it needed mowed. It definitely is a quiet location. So if you are looking for a mediocre stay that's quiet, it will suffice.

Yet, for all of the oldness, this motel is definitely new and modern. It has free wifi, lots of USB outlets, a mini fridge in each room, a flat-screen TV with Roku, and lovely-smelling complimentary toiletries. This looks like an old-fashioned drive-in motel, so there are little porches outside of each room, and the rooms face the parking lot. Motel attendants seem to be at the office around check out and check in time, but otherwise, the office is closed. But if you need something, there's a phone number that you can text or call. I had to ask for some towels, and I texted, and they were quick to answer. Dame Fortune's is located just slightly on the outskirts of Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs. It's kind of nice that it's not in the thick of things, so if you want to stay in a place that's a little off the beaten path, this is the place. You get a different perspective of the area in this part of the city here. Across the street from Dame Fortune is an old hamburger stand that sells ice cream. There are some empty buildings with tasteful graffiti. This area is on the cusp of being transformed, so I'm sure by the time you visit, it will look completely different. In any case, this is a really cool part of Hot Springs, and it makes sense that a really cool motel is situated here.

Atfer the round was completed we stop back up to the culb house and the place almost all to ourselves. The buger was great and the staff was super friendly. A must play if you are in the area. 2nd day golfing Granada Forcast was scheduled for rain most of the mouring. The course is groudus long and wide. The problem we had was the grounds believe the forcast more than their on eyes. We had one small shower while warming up and sun the rest of the round. When we check in the sign stated 90 degree of the cart path. On the third hole the ground crew changed it to cart path only which was an issue with part of our team that have health issue and walking up and down hills is not good for them, so a couple of holes they did not play. Great couse would play it again but the rest of the group might have second thoughts if weather condition are ify. 3rd Day host course Diamante Great staff, they handle a women's social group and a kids training class all at the same time. The only issue again was food the course state it serve breakfast just to find out at does not start unitl 10am (our tee time was 10:04am) so no breakfast. Did I state they was about 200 kids and adults there before 9am. Had lunch at the turn and things were good. Had dinner at the club house that night. Was not impress Hawaii buffet only chicken,ribs, rice, patsa salad and pineapple cake. Downtown Hot Spring is in the middle of a remoudled, remains me of the Wisconsin dell area here in Wsiconsin. 4th book the Mulligan course before drive home, not much of a course compare to the other three we played, but again it was a flier. Not going to hold this the trip of the staff. Overall value Don't be afraid of the dispution of a studio apartment room are very spaces and the bath room Is large. If you don't want to share a bed with the person you are taken they is a couch or bring a air matress lots of room. Food limited the room has a microwave and wine fridge so maybe plan some breakfast sandwich if you are and early golfer. The room also come with a cart super golf cart which was more the enough to get you to each golf course. Food option are hard to find for outsiders so plan a head to make things easyier. Biggest question would I return and the answer is maybe driving 12 hours is not idea but the package was ideally.
