Can't say enough good about this place! The house itself is beautiful, the property is lovely, and the breakfast was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our room (we stayed in the Oak Room). If I had to make a suggestion, it would be for more outdoor lighting for late night arrivals. An easy fix would be to put a timer on the lovely string lights that are on the outdoor patio. Could have them come on at dusk and automatically go off at midnight. Otherwise, an excellent stay. I highly recommend!! read more

My wife and I had a horrible experience. We booked a 3 night stay but left after the first night it was that bad. The room was cold when we arrived. We had to have someone come over and light the pilot light on the gas fireplace to turn it on. Once on, it stunk up the room. I had to open a window to get fresh air in and it still stunk and stayed cold. The internet was slow and so we couldn't stream anything. The room was dark and small, in addition to being cold. The topper was that they were cutting down a tree and so we couldn't enjoy the 5 acres of peace in the country. Housekeeping was great, however, we never got any follow up call from the owner's daughter who runs the place. No, apologizes or anything. This was a total waste of money. We will not stay there again. read more

We love Hilltop Manor!! We stayed here for the first time in 2017 for our honeymoon and then came back in 2020 for Valentine's Day weekend. Joanna and Jennifer are the best! The breakfast is exceptional, the manor is absolutely beautiful, they put so much love and pride into what they do and it really shows. J&J make you feel like you right at home and like they have known you forever. We love love hilltop and Jennifer and Joanna and are so grateful that they share their beautiful home for us. I hope for many more trips here and recommend everyone that I know that visits hot springs to stay here. We had breakfast 3 morning here and I wanted to show you have fabulous it was. Such a beautiful house in an equally beautiful setting! We celebrated my birthday in Hot Springs, and had such a lovely time. The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious. I loved the sheets, and am ordering some for our home. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! We felt very comfortable there, and would highly suggest it to all of our friends, and family! I was looking for a restful getaway for a few days, and after much research, I chose the Hilltop Manor. The building itself is beautifully restored. I've never seen a historic home that was more carefully converted to a commercial space. Almost everything is original, including huge stone fireplaces, giant pocket doors, intricate hardwood floors, and craftsman light fixtures. The grounds are meticulously kept and very walkable. I lit a fire in the outdoor fireplace my first night. There is also a huge fireplace in the great room, and I had one in my room as well. The breakfasts are elegant and delicious. I generally didn't actually eat lunch, because the breakfasts were so big. I ate my breakfasts on the huge front patio, overlooking the gardens, which was one of my favorite parts of the day. I reserved the Sycamore Suite, which I recommend for anyone who wants to relax. The jacuzzi tub is literally a foot from the giant, historic stone fireplace, and the bed was large and very comfortable. Finally, the hosts are just lovely people. They were remarkably welcoming. They recommended great sites and restaurants, and Joanna actually wrote down the name of the Pandora station that was playing in the great room, because I liked it so much, and handed it to me on the way out the door. I don't generally spend much money on lodging, but I am so glad I spent the money for three nights at the Hill Top Manor. Three nights here did me a world of good. read more

Me and my wife are celebrating our 25th anniversary and wanted a romantic get away and what better place to relax and enjoy the spas than Hot Springs. We booked a room at the Hilltop B&B and instantly fell in love with the place. The serenity you feel when you arrive is instant. Jennifer met us at the door with a warm smile, showed us around and made sure that we had her contact number in case we needed anything. I really wasn't expecting to be this relaxed and stress free until we got to the spa, but this place is that amazing. It is like a vacation within a vacation. We went here for our 25th Anniversary...just happend to see it on the web. Unlike many things in Hot Springs...the advertisement for this place is dead on. Hands down this has to be the best B&B we have ever been to. It offers what it advertised and then some.... The rooms are very nice, the breakfast was a scrumtious multi-course meal. Breakfast set you up for a great start to the day. The owner/ operators were FANTASTIC. It was a great place to relax and hop into Hot Springs historic district at your leasure. Every afternoon there would be a delicious snack and a huge front porch to catch an evening breeze. Perfect place for adults to rest and relax. The owners will definetly spoil you and make you not want to go home. read more

Came here on the last part of our honeymoon and it was perfect! The beds are super comfy and the house is well taken care of and extremely welcoming(with homemade sweets greeting you as you come in the door each day just like grandmas house) You have room service as well as a two course breakfast every morning (that is freaking amazing I might add). The manor sits on a large well taken care of property that is relaxing and gives the feel of a perfect escape! You also have a fireplace in your room and a jaccuzi tub which makes it perfect for relaxing! Love this place and am planning on coming back!! read more

My wife and I stayed here for our vacation. The home and property are beautiful. We went to a hot springs spa also, Quapaw, while we were here. The rooms are cozy and very nice. My wife loved them. The breakfast is filling - if on the sweet side. I usually do not eat sugar but I ate it up being on vacation. They have 4pm snacks which is nice. Wine is serve if desired. We had hummus and crackers the first snack and strawberries and chocolate the second. Very nice. We are considering returning when it is cool to test out the fireplaces they have inside and out. read more

We tried to book a wedding here and the phone number we reached was a cell phone, the person on the other end told us they would call back when they returned home, we then got a call from "unknown number" We still thought with all the great reviews we would try it anyway. When I tried to give a credit card to hold the date I was told they could not take that information on the phone, they would email me a contract, I asked what number to fax it to, I was told they did not have a fax, I would need to print the contract sign, fill in my credit card info then scan it and email it back. We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop MAnor in the Oak Room during our first visit to Hot Springs. Would highly recommend for a getaway weekend. We enjoyed hearing about the grounds and the history of the property from Joanna and getting recommendations for food and outdoor activities. The breakfast served to our room each morning delicious and such a nice touch. A lot of food (served in two courses with OJ and a carafe of coffee) but we ate every bite! The first morning we had a banana granola bake, a poached egg served atop a bed of spinach and Parmesan, buttermilk waffles and a blueberry muffin. The second morning it was a fruit parfait with vanilla creme, salsa and cheese egg bake, and delicious pancakes. Everything was homemade and just fabulous! Joanna and Jennifer also had a different homemade sweet treat in the front room each day as well as a coffee/tea selection and lots of info about things to do around town. No issues getting in or out of the house and the property was very well lit so we always felt safe. Not to mention everything was clean - LOVED the bath robes too! Such a delightful and unique experience. Excellent customer service, communicative staff - all around a lovely weekend. read more

My husband surprised me with a surprise trip to the Hilltop for our 21st anniversary. Joanna made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Sycamore Suite...it was beautiful! The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing, and the bed was very comfortable. The only downfall was that the room never got very cool at night. They do, however, provide you with an extra fan, so that helped. My favorite part was definitely the breakfast! Oh. My. Goodness! Joanna is a superb chef! We had 2 courses and they were both delicious! We sipped coffee and ate our gourmet breakfast while sitting on the beautiful front porch, listening to the waterfall and watching the birds. We will most definitely return! read more

We went for our 10th anniversary! It was excellent! My wife and I had reservations as a historic hotel in the center of Hot Springs. After reading some of the reviews on Yelp I decided to change our plans and NOT tell my wife. She doesn't like surprises too much. When we drove past the other hotel she wanted to know where we were going. I then told her I had cancelled our reservations at the first place and reserved us two nights at the Hilltop Manor. Just a short trip from the center of town sits a beautiful Craftsmen style manor. This place is fantastic. I dont care too much for the ornate froo-froo doilie stuff that you can find in some B&Bs. The Hilltop had none of that! What they do have is wonderful rooms, fantastic breakfasts and afternoon snacks! All the aminities we wanted were supplied. There is a huge TV in the room with DVD player. There is a community microwave and fridge stocked with soft drinks and snacks to munch on at all hours night and day. I would highly recommed you check out the Hilltop Manor! Go into the heart of downtown and experience a bath and massage. Stay at the Hilltop! read more

The Manor is absolutely charming, the breakfast every morning was to-die-for, and the owners are the sweetest! The location is very close to everything in Hot Springs, however, the Manor was so beautiful that we decided to order in and have dinner on the porch most evenings. We went here for our 2nd wedding anniversary and loved it!!! We stayed in the Oak Suite and would highly recommend this. I think it's the best one. We loved the stone fireplace!! And the Jacuzzi tub right in the room. The TV was large which was nice. The shower and bathroom were very nice. Everything about it was very inviting. The owners were great and very hospitable. The breakfast was very tasty and I love how they will serve it in your room. If you are going to Hot Springs stay here and pick the Oak Suite. I can speak for the other suites but they do all seem to be nice. read more

My husband and I celebrated our mini-moon here in December 2012. It was the perfect get-away after wedding planning and festivities. We stayed in the Sycamore Suite - I highly recommend this suite but any suite seems like it would be fabulous here. The innkeepers are incredibly nice, the grounds are very well kept, our suite was a dream, and the food is as everyone else says... amazing. We are an adventurous couple and while we enjoyed walking around Hot Springs and a trip to the baths we hardly left our room because of how incredible it was. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic and/or relaxing getaway. Superb! read more

We celebrated our 24th anniversary here. It was wonderful. The room we were in had recently been redecorated and was beautiful, warm and inviting. The house is 100 years old, but very well maintained. Breakfast was so fulling we didn't need lunch both days. I can't imagine how beautiful the surrounding scenery must be in the Fall.
