Random hours, close when the want to on any given day despite listed hours. Hard to come out and golf because of this.

The new owners have benefitted during covid and the increase demand for golf. The owners have been making bad decisions ever since acquiring the golf course. The golf course used to have an enjoyable atmosphere and culture focused around the people. For the past few years it has been more about the money, without any concern about improving the facilities and improving the inviting culture. The latest addition, the current pro, has been the latest is a series of bad decisions. He has zero personality, not capable of interaction with people. He has no interest in bonding with the long term members or putting in a full days work. The course has been in less than fair conditions and the cost to play cannot be justified. The food and beverage side is not much better. Poorly managed and not well staffed. That won't change since that is the key staff are related to the owners. read more

Enjoyed the course. Staff very friendly. Pace of play was slow. The slow play was due to all the high school golfers playing a practice round before regionals on Monday. Greens were bumpy and had a lot of unfixed ball marks. Don't think I saw the high school golfers in the group in front of me fix one in 18 holes. My group fixed 2-3 each on every hole. Updated review ... I still love this course, but since the new owners have taken over, it had definitely started to go downhill. In particular the greens. They don't suck, yet ... but are on there way to sucking. Particularly with the fungus. Also, the greens keepers need to sand and repair the divots on a regular basis. Old owners kept the greens in country club shape. SV is on it way to being just another muni. I am writing this in hopes to get the new managements attention. Need to work on the greens. I've never played greens that had so many bumps. Cups were not changed out, greens were not mowed. Wondering if they even have a machine to roll the greens. This place is getting more play and revenue. Perhaps they should invest some of the money in day to day maintenance items. read more

Whether you are golfing there, or going for a date night, there's something for everyone. Burgers are legit, Mexican options are good, breakfast delicious, service is on point. They tweak their menu a couple times a year, and are accommodating if you want to modify the menu. Family owned. Only thing that isn't our favorite is the pizza. Value for golf is good. Early season (end of May), the course was well kept, bunkers played nice and looked great. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens all lush, with no bare spots. No snack cart until ~10 am +/- without many snacks on the cart, so bring your own. The clubhouse was stocked and very friendly. Pass on the restaurant - Breakfast burrito was very underwhelming and nachos post-round were soggy at best. Fish and Chips looked still frozen... Bud, Miller, and Coors products on tap - Nothing local on tap. The service was good. But..........for goodness sake, clean a bathroom once in a while. No one wants to see that -1 read more

This place is a deal, especially after 5pm, unlimited golf with a cart for 25.00. Food is good, servers are friendly, overall a great place. we play a lot of golf as I work in the golf industry. my wife agreed that the price we paid for Spring Valley and the condition we found was out of balance. there was no course ranger to speed things along and it took over 5 1/2 hours to play. unacceptable. the cart paths were extremely rough and unpaved. many of the greens were over watered, too soft and very slow. fairways were a mix of brick hard and mushy. I had to keep moving around on one tee box to find a place I could drive a tee in the ground. for the amount we paid we would have expected better conditions. will we return? no thank you! read more

I almost don't want to tell everyone how great this place is! I enjoy getting a seat and served instantly. My husband and I have eaten here often (after golf). The nachos are phenomenal. The burgers and steaks are great... Everything we've had here has been great! Even the side salad is worth the money. Portions are large. In fact we can share a small nacho for dinner and be quite satisfied. The house Cab and Merlot (Calina) are very good and they give you a generous amount. Things to get used to: Self seating - they just seem to notice when new patrons arrive... if they don't, just let them know you're ready to order. Ordering burgers and/or steaks - medium is more like medium rare Other than that you can get a pretty affordable meal that will taste great! read more

Spring Valley is the new favorite golf course within an hour from Parker. I was turned on to this club last year and love it. The range is wide open most every day of the week and being located about 20 minutes East of Parker in Elizabeth this little gem is still somewhat unknown. Be sure to check the website, (http://www.springvalleygolf.com) for web specials, on-line member events and discounts. Note that the course is great and the staff in the bar and on the course is fantastic. The real reason I can't give the 5th star is because for two years the carts have been missing windshields and this course is known for a little wind most days. Playing anytime before April or after September will warrant a bottle of Schnapps or Bailey's and Coffee to keep you warm between holes. Hit em long and straight! read more

Love this place and the people, could easily say we are regulars. The staff is like family. They do brunch menus for special occasions as well as other tasting events and prime rib on Friday nights. The Mexican burger is amazing and even though not a carrot cake fan, I can't get enough of theirs. They have seasonal offerings and have never been disappointed. Even for tournaments their buffet style is tasty and never bland. Get a breakfast burrito on the go for your morning tee time. Their menu is diverse with burgers, steaks, huge salads, sandwiches, wraps, Mexican and pasta choices. Something for everyone. We are usually out there multiple time per week and no chance in slowing down. read more

Horrible golf course....spring hill golf course in Aurora looks nicer than this. We played today and $70 was a rip off. Based on the horrible conditions of the fairways and greens they should be charging $30-40 w/ cart. Winter burns, fungus all over the place. 9th tee box for the ladies had so many weeds growing (see pic). If they wanted to decorate the tee box for the women at least they could splurge and get flowers not weeds. If I remember correctly pin placement was strategically placed to minimize how horrible the greens were. Returning on the 18th back to the clubhouse there were a 3-4 dozen families of geese roaming the fairway. For $71 i thought we were golfing but seemed like the course finished us off at the aviary exhibit at the zoo. For 70 they need to figure out how to eradicate the excessive geese and shit all over the place. I would NOT recommend this course and DEFINITELY wasnt worth $70 - more lile $30-40 with cart. The only positive was strolling through the back 9 creative landscape. I only went cuz a friend recommended it since all other courses were booked on this holiday. read more

This is the best kept secret east of Parker. It's a wonderful golf course and pro shop and there is a nice bar and grill downstairs, and an occasional upstairs finer dining restaurant (Elbert's) which I'll review separately sometime. The grill has a really nice selection of the usual bar/grill fare plus some nice additions. Their burgers are quite good! Other good things are the Philly Cheese Steak, Fish and Chips and their Green Chili. All of the food is reasonably priced, around $7-$9 for most meals and then around $15-18 for steak and their other special plates. They used to have a great patty melt there, but for some reason that's off the menu and they refuse to make it even though it's just an open faced burger on rye with caramalized onions... oh well. They have a nice bar and a good selection of beer. There is some outdoor seating as well. The interior is very nice and there are a few TV's usually showing golf. They also serve breakfast. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive. The course is public. read more

This is a pretty nice course and the people we met along our round were friendly and down-to-earth. Many of the holes seem longer than what the card states, so hit 'em hard off the tee! The only bad thing during our round was that we got SWARMED by mosquitoes on several holes. Water from the sprinklers apparently pools in some places and there are a couple of holes around a creek (very pretty, though). Some nice folks in the group behind us saw us slapping ourselves and brought us some DEET. Those buggers still bit us a few times after we applied the spray. Note to self: add DEET spray to golf bag for next time! read more

I was looking for a new course to play and heard great things about the food at the club house. Unfortunately, we felt harassed the entire time we played golf. I played with a friend who has a different skin color. Hole 1, our music was too loud. I agreed that we may have been enjoying it a bit so we turned it down. The ranger followed us to 2 and had interactions 8-10 additional times throughout our round. At the turn, we both noticed him getting stared at in a negative manner by others and felt unwelcomed. I will not return to this course again. Hopefully others have a different experience than us. read more

I stumbled onto this course because I got a really cheap tee time online from a discount website. WOW! This is a hidden gem of a course in the SE Denver area. From my house I actually ended up driving on dirt roads in the middle of nowhere to end up at it but then all of a sudden here is this beautiful course in the middle of the country. We checked in an hour early and they told us we could tee off if we wanted to so we accepted their offer and away we went. I love all of the natural surroundings they have with the ponds and trees and such. You can hear frogs croaking on quite a few holes and we saw deer tracks on many others as well. The course itself was very nice and not too difficult. The greens were slow because it had rained hard the day before. Good hole placement on most of the holes. It is a regulation par 72 course so it is a long one. I recommend getting a cart. I am going to be playing here many many more times because it is such a great value and it is so quiet that you can actually hear yourself think. Diamond in the Rough! read more

The course was in good condition. The greens are fast and true. The pace of play on a Sunday was 4.25 hours - which isn't too bad. The rough was deep and tough to find golf balls. This was the first time I played the course. The front 9 is very forgiving and the back is more challenging. I will come back. read more
