Not a fan. I've taken clothes there periodically since moving to the west side. The prices are average and I can't say anything stands out about the service. Recently I took a jacket and lace dress there to be cleaned- the jacket had a spot of unknown origin on the back, and my husband had spilled hummus on me while I was wearing the dress. I pointed both stains out when I dropped it off, specifying to the best of my ability what had caused them. When I unwrapped my item after picking them up, I was disappointed to see that neither of the spots had been removed- the hummus was still crusted on the lace! Of course, I wasn't pleased that my garments hadn't come clean, but I was even more upset that the cleaners didn't think to mention it to me, let alone offer any retribution. During the same visit, I dropped off a skirt that had a ruffled edge along the bottom that had been ripped off in places. I knew it was going to be a tough fix, but was shocked when I picked it up. The ruffle was reattached, but the stitching basically looked as if they'd just haphazardly run it back and forth under a sewing machine a few times. I have absolutely NO experience sewing, and had done better repairs by hand previous to taking it in. Definitely not worth the $15 or so I paid for the service. This location is very convenient for me, and I appreciate their fast turn-around, but since my #1 requirement for a dry cleaner is that they clean my clothes, I will be looking for another place. read more

Every week I drop off my clothing for cleaning, and then it back up during the same week. The store tracks my order by my phone number, and I have never had a problem collecting my items, also, have been doing business at this store for the last 15 or 20 years. This morning I went to pick my up clothes, and woman that was helping me told me she could not locate them. Another young lady came over and explained how to find them, and they found them without difficulty. The older woman then said to me, in a very dry rude way, "Next time you had better hold onto you ticked." I politely said I have been coming here for 20 years and your company has always tracked my things by my phone number. She said she didn't care, and if I didn't hold on to my ticket she would not give me my things the next time I come in. I then said, I've been coming here for 20 years and you really should not treat your customers this way, she then said, "I bought this place and opened it, and I really don't care if you go somewhere else to do your dry cleaning. I agree, cheap and fast. But, I completely disagree with them being friendly. I have been going there for 10 years and don't think I have ever received a smile from an employee. They identify you through your phone number, not your name. I often go here for minor repairs and alterations. I am generally to lazy to repair a hem or sew on a button. They can handle those repairs, but wouldn't go there for major alterations. Work gets done quickly, generally within a day or two. Once or twice, I have gone in and they didn't have my repairs ready. There was absolutely no apology or offer of compensation for my time. I was told to call another time when the manager was there. So why do I go to this place, cheap and fast. I should have taken heed to posted reviews. Picked up my guy's dress shirt and the short sleeves were terribly wrinkled due to the way they were scrunched up in the bag. Tiny wrinkles had been pressed in all along the seams of the shoulders, front and back. They were very obvious so he couldn't wear the shirt that evening as planned. I was going to return the shirt to the cleaners to give them the opportunity to correct the issue prior to posting a negative review. But after reading the negative interactions others had with management, I decided not to waste my time or energy on that trip. Although I prefer not to write negative reviews, I also don't want anyone else to waste their time and money. Do yourself a favor. Don't spend your hard earned dollars at this cleaner. read more

Springdale cleaners on Crookshank Rd Western Hills gives the most low end quality service I have ever experience. It's surprising they are still in business. I took a pair of pants for a rip to be sewed. This is what I got back (see pic). I will never use their service again. Actually Concord Cleaners has been the most reliable with good quality service and highly recommended. Not to mention they do zippers and proper sewing for small rips. The ONLY thing Springdale Cleaners do is dry cleaning and alterations. And with very poor half a*ss service. Not to mention the attendant seemed very rude and not very friendly at all. read more

Zero stars. I will absolutely never take my dry cleaning here again. First, I got home and found out that the zipper tab to my dress had been broken while in their possession. Then my fiancee reported that his garment had not been cleaned whatsoever. You can still see the dirt in spots. He had to wear it that evening for a show so he ended up cleaning it himself. I called that afternoon to report the poor job they had done and I encountered THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. First the manager, Megan, hung up on me. When I called back she said it was because she couldn't hear me. After ensuring that was no longer an issue I explained what was wrong. She asked if that was all I called about in an extremely rude tone. It was all I called about but I asked if she was even going to apologize for taking my money but not actually providing a service. She said she didn't clean the clothes so it wasn't her problem. Since she manages the people who supposedly cleaned my clothes, I very much disagree. Brought a comforter in yesterday to get dry cleaned. I told the man working that I left my coupon at home for $3.00 off and I told him I would bring it in tomorrow. He said ok, it will be ready at 1:00 tomorrow. So I just picked up my comforter and presented the coupon. I was told they would not accept because it had to be the day it was dropped off. Mind you that you do not pay when you drop off. A manager came to the counter and was not helpful, he was just rude and told me he would not accept my coupon. They guy who informed me it was OK was in the store and he denied telling me I could use it. Wow, what great customer service and thanks for burning the buttons on my dress shirts too. Dropped off my good black pea coat on Monday. Picked it up Tuesday evening to wear to Christmas party Wednesday night. Didn't take it out of bag until ready to leave Wednesday morning. To my shock, NOT my coat. It was black old navy pea coat, size small. My was a designer, size 1xl. Checked & numbers on my tag weren't even close to numbers on this coat. And it didn't even look clean. Call right away, guy who answered looked & said he couldn't find it. Said to call later & speak with manager, Ray. Called back, asked for Ray the manager. This guy said his name was Rick & he was manager. He said he would look for my coat. I said I'd be up on my lunch to get it. He called me twice for info he should have got in first call. I explained about how numbers didn't match, his response: oh they are all college kids haha. I said obviously they are wasting their $$ if they can't read numbers correctly & he should probably train them better. He refused to give me his last name, not his practice. I said well is it your practice to give out the wrong coats? He chuckled again. At this point I was more than a little pissed off. I asked for owners name, he said he wouldn't give that out either. At that point I told him to ask those college kids about about social media!! He called later & said someone brought my coat in & now wanted theirs. Told him I'd bring it in tonight. I was glad to finally get my coat back! That happiness didn't last long...my coat was a mess... full of lint & didn't look like anything was done. Of course Rick wasn't there. One of the girls said she would take a lint brush to it! I said no one there would touch anything of mine & they wouldn't refund my money!!! I have a lot of dry cleaning that I go through, and this place seems to do a pretty decent job. A couple of my wife's coats that were not in good shape were cleaned up quite nicely by them. I know a lot of the reviews on here are negative, but I've been using them for a while and have not had any problems. They are quick, efficient and very cheap. They have coupons you can get from their website but you need to make sure you have them when you drop them off otherwise they won't work. I personally haven't seen said hangers, and honestly, I wouldn't care if they did. Honestly I typically end up throwing them in the trash anyways. For me, the prices they give means I can take my clothes in more often. I hate spending too much on dry cleaning and I like this place a lot. read more

I have been using Springdale Cleaners for about two years, and had a very bad experience that I need to write about. I have been using Springdale for about 2 years, mostly laundering shirts. Never had an issue until now. I am very sensitive to perfumes and dyes in detergents and fabric softeners, and I still have two shirts from the last round that are in my closet, and have no scent. The shirts I picked up Monday afternoon are heavily scented, so much so that my wife, in another room ,commented on the smell when I removed the plastic. I returned Tuesday morning and talked with the young man about it, but I suspect that the folks working there are desensitized due to being there all the time. I can smell/feel the smell when I walk in the door. He said they would redo them, and upon picking them up Tuesday afternoon noted that the smell was still there, but not quite as strong. I asked again about changes in their detergents, etc., and was told no change. I took them home, and today I am wearing one of the shirts, with an undershirt underneath. I am only surviving the day because I brought sudafed to work with me. The areas of my skinn exposed to the shirt are prickly, and my head is unhappy. I called the manager this morning, who asserted again that they haven't changed anything, and that she wishes they could add more scent to things. I don't believe any of them, purely based on my nose, and on the lack of scent on previously laundered shirts with them. I'll be finding a new place to launder my shirts, and I'm seriously disappointed in these people. read more

Dropped off a dress one month February this year and it was $ 4.25 plus I used coupon- person was rude - but this cleaner -who I used for 15 years was on my way home. In April I dropped off dress it was $4.25 they barely let me use a coupon -then In August dropped off dress and got home it was $8.50!! I insisted to talk to manager R.ick- who was never there or busy but most of the time -most of the time- they never answered !! I will not give a star. They are terrible. My husband had his suit dry cleaned. We went to the wedding he put the coat on to go into the church. He noticed the sleeves felt odd. They made their own crease on top of the sleeve. It was a horrible job. He took it back Monday and the man wanted his receipt. He picked up the suit over a week ago and pitched it. Called and was told to bring all items back including my receipt. I was told since I took the items out of the store, it was not his problem. They lost my $178 cashmere sweater from J Crew and called a liar, no they would try looking for the item or admitting that their backward system of tagging your items is how they obviously gave my sweater to someone else. This is the absolute worse business I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with!! . They actually LOST a pair of suit pants that were dropped off for mending!! Initially they (one of the workers, not the owners) accepted the blame and knew they misplaced the pants. That is until the "owner" got involved. Without going into details about how he lied I will tell you, DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS CLEANERS!! They are completely 100% unaccountable for anything!!. After about a month of undo stress, the fact that the suit was newly purchased "nested" suit, the receipt for the suit, the demand of a full payment with legal counsel involved, they found the pants. No apologize, just a "we found them". I find it hard to believe that they are still in business and the same person has run this business for 25 years!! I would not patronize any of the Springdale Cleaners! You need to find a cleaners that will honestly stand behind their responsibility of cleaning a garment, mending the garment and/or not misplacing the garment. I also have been a long time regular customer and drop off my dry-cleaning weekly. However after my recent experience I will not be returning. So I dropped off a pair of pants to have the hem let down and instead the pants were hemmed up. I returned with the pants and the ticket and was told the repair would be corrected. When I went to pick up the pants they were not ready. Not a big deal I was understanding at this point. I returned to drop off my weekly dry-cleaning and was told that they were disputing the fact that they hemmed these pants. Keep in mind that the tag was still attached in the zipper and the receipt stating that the alteration was completed was attached. No need to write a novel the ending point is that there was absolutely no effort to resolve this and today I was accused of possibly switching the pants. Really?? The manager Rick seems to have no desire or skills in resolving customer issues. They have even lost garments of mine in the past and made no effort to resolve or compensate me in any way. The customer service by some is wonderful and others very poor. My business will go elsewhere The most valuable lesson this establishment needs to learn is how to resolve problems and value their customers. read more
