They told us that the work cannot begin until we do a survey. We did a survey, but by then we decided to give up the expansion, and opted for a much smaller job. Before the design started, our plan has changed again and decided not to do any home improvement. We communicated all of the changes in writing in a timely manner, and was acknowledged. Now we have trouble getting our money back. Since we paid the retainer, an associate has stopped by to pick up the signed proposal, talked to us in our driveway, and took us to see an example of their past work. That's it. No one from Gemmola & Associates has since entered the house, or presented us with any plans, drafts, drawings for the work they intended to do, or provided us any work they claimed to have done. An attorney is now working on our behalf. I hope Ed will do the right thing, and return our money.

We needed an extra bedroom and were thinking of relocating the laundry room from the basement. Tim came to our house listened to what we said and quickly put together an addition that ticked all the boxes and matched the style of our 1927 hip roof colonial. Now when I have people over and they ask about the addition I have to show them what's new. The addition fits so well with the rest of the house it's hard to tell new from old.
