Cocktail flight for March with scenic background
    Kimberly M.

What an absolutely lovely day in Frederick County. This is one of my favorite places to come to when I want to relax away from the city. The cocktails are delicious. The food is delicious. The service is top notch. In the summer there is live music so if you're not wanting that level of socialization and noise, I definitely recommend checking them on social media to verify events.

This is winery, brewery and distillery and it is awesome! In the summer they have lilac fields and there are weekends where they shut down the whole place for lilac admissions. They have plenty of outdoor seating. They have food trucks as well as food on site and live music.

View from the patio looking over the lavender field.

Imagine yourself sitting under an umbrella on a patio with a slight breeze and good wine on a warm weather day. This is what you will get when you visit Springfield Manor Winery on a hot summer day, of course! We tried a red and white wine flight, soft pretzel and Brie cheese dish. Everything was delicious and well priced! Take an afternoon to spend time here and walk through the rows of lavender on the property. #YelpMDburbs

Lovely place to have delicious wine and appetizers. They have different events (pairing wine with cupcakes, etc) monthly . Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. There is plenty of parking as well. They have a lavender field and sell bunches if desired. I will def be going back.

The festival was wonderful. Great vendors for food, beverage, and crafts. We had a fantastic speaker regarding olive oil and its production. I never knew olive oil and wine production had so much in common. I can't wait to plant the herbs and lavender I purchased. The reason for the four star rating was the no access to the air-conditioned buildings on a 98-degree day. The other drawback was the clostrophobic portapotties. I suggest air-conditioned restroom trailers for future events. With those additions, it would be a five-star event.

The venue is stunning, & all the staff went above & beyond to make our daughter's special day absolutely perfect!! 100% recommend this venue for any occasion you are celebrating! Brian & his staff are fabulous!

It's a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the lavender fields. It was a very small field of lavender and just little costly. The brewery has flights that was taste. The wine flights was on point and the cocktail place was amazing. The atmosphere was laid back. They have a live band and everyone was laid back. We snacked on spinach and artichoke dip. Don't worry you can bring the kids.

Beautiful scenery outside and open seating

I visited Springfield Manor this past weekend for an air plant making event. I had such a wonderful time with my sister. Parking was easy, staff was very friendly, and the scenery was beautiful. All cocktails are available in non-alcoholic options. The October special is a lavender pink lemonade. It comes on the rocks or frozen topped with an adorable pink duck. All the cocktails were adorable and seemed popular. They also have wine and beer, so anyone you bring can find something they would enjoy here. As soon as we got to Springfield it smelled like freshly baked bread. I'm not sure if they have a flatbread or pizza but it smelled amazing. We were indoor for the event but went outside to order drinks and food. Springfield is a very photogenic place! Everywhere you look there is a perfect space to take pictures. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great venue. It is worth the drive if you live further away like I do!

I'm between 2 and 3 stars for this review. While Springfield Manor is beautiful and has lots of options from their wine to liquor to beer, I was a little disappointed. I tried their cocktail flight, which included 4 of their monthly cocktails. They had interesting flavors but I found each of the cocktails very sweet, and I could hardly taste the liquor. The service was fine at the bar, but I did find it a bit off-putting that an employee would yell at visitors who didn't realize that you had to pay to go into the lavender fields. It happened every 10 minutes or so, and I feel like there could be a better way to address customers. Maybe some additional signage or roping off the area. The yelling just felt like a disturbance while we were trying to enjoy our beverages. The highlight was really the view!

This year's Lavender festival happened over one of the hottest weekends of the year. It's not Springfield Manor's fault, but it was so hot out there! With that said, I had a wonderful time! The tickets to the event weren't too pricey, especially if you purchased them early. There is unlimited free lemonade and water. There was live music, vendors, and food trucks. If you plan to attend next year, here are a few pointers. Think of this as your typical winery hang. Bring a blanket or chairs and claim a spot, wear sensible shoes as the parking lot is gravel and kind of far away, bring money as there are cool vendors there (see the bird we purchased for the yard), and bring the family. Although there is alcohol flowing, it is a family-friendly place with plenty of room for the kids to roam. The fields are small put pretty with plenty of spots for photo opportunities. Your ticket includes a free tasting, free soap making, free lemonade, and more. I didn't partake in some of the free things because the lines were very long. Mark your calendars for next year because this event is very popular and sells out often!

My girlfriends and I attended the Hot Chocolate Cocktail tasting and oooo it was delicious and cozy!! The service was quick, smooth, and seamless. We would give our order at the table and they would text us when the food order was ready. We quickly got situated with our cozy drinks, the staff were friendly and helpful to orient us through the tasting. The interior of the barn was a mini, gorgeous winter wonderland! And we had a spotting of Mr. Grinch I ordered a pretzel with beer cheese. While my pretzel was smaller in size than the order of pretzels my girls received, the pretzel was still delicious. Restrooms are clean and easy to access. Parking is easy, it's just right front of the property. I have been to the manor before to have a lovely weekend, so it is so nice to experience the winery and distillery connected to the Manor! Overall, I had a wonderful experience, I'd recommend checking out this place for any future seasonal events, I heard they are famous for their Lavender events.

We purchased tickets to come to their crumble cookie pairing. They offered the option to pair with beer or wine, and the cookies were based on the selection for that week. We arrived right before noon and were able to get good parking a d outdoor table with an umbrella. It was a hot and sunny day, so the umbrella was useful. After about 10 mins it got pretty busy. We grabbed our tasting and enjoyed it. However, I only liked one of their wines. My husband liked one of the IPAs that they had, but I personally was not a fan and didn't really care for the lager as well. The scenery was gorgeous with the mountains and overall view. I think this was the best part about our experience. The ladies at the bar were nice, but some of the workers there were kind of rude. We had ordered food at the bar and they take your phone number and will text you when ready. I got two separate texts for my orders which didn't make sense to me. It would have made sense to have everything ready so that I didn't have to go back up there. My sister's order wasn't right and when she asked for one of her orders the guy told her to get back in line to order. Luckily someone else there helped her out, but that really set a tone and rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, it's an experience if you want to try new spots. However, the vibe wasn't for me. I did like the pairing event and think that's a great option, but not enough to bring me back.

Absolutely beautiful wedding venue…read more The ceremony is held about 1/2 mile down the road from the main log cabin style venue. There is a beautiful pond with a small house next to it, and the wedding was held right in front of this house with the backdrop of the pond that had a large spraying fountain at it's center. A large weeping willow tree stands at the edge of the pond which the happy couple was united under. I think one of the things that really helped make this experience seamless was their staff who were really clear about where the ceremony was happening and gave us super clear instructions about how to get back to the reception hall after. But yes, the reception hall was really incredible. The cocktail hour took place in the downstairs which is a really nice room that goes out to a stunning patio, screened in porch, and did I mention that the patio has a giant cauldron that they made a fire in while we were having dinner. The cocktail hour basement transforms into the dance floor and they had stuff to make smores out by the cauldron fire during this time as well. The staff at the bar was incredibly friendly as well. They have a REALLY good staff on their hands there and it really enhanced the whole experience. The large reception hall where dinner takes place is like the coziest most lovely log cabin style area with large couches, a fireplace, and windows that surround a good portion of the room. It really was just such a perfect spot for around, I wanna say, about 100 or so people. SO so happy for my friends who were married there. I'm definitely gonna recommend this spot in the future. People definitely sometimes tap me for venues of this style- and it's good to have an excellent one in my pocket ;).

On one end they had hard cider, beer and wine for sale and a stage with live music which was nice. They also sell apple cider, apple cider donuts, and food. The fries were good but crap dip was a bit watery. There's a fire pit area for groups that you can reserve ahead. Great spot for date night or a family outing- there's a lot for kids to do- a pile of tires to climb, barrels for them to play with, a giant inflated pillow bounce area. They have a good variety of farm animals you can feed (goats, horses, bulls, etc). You can also pick sunflowers/wildflowers, go on a hay ride, do the corn maze, and there's a little train for kids. In the main building there's a small farm store with fresh kettle corn you can watch them pop on site, pastries jams etc. Only suggestion is to improve the crab dip and add more activities for adults. More of a one time visit spot, probably would only come back if they are other activities next year.

When I arrived basic table and chair setups were not completed as requested and contracted. To the point I and some of my guest along with my caterer had to finish the setup. Then at one point at my event I noticed the owners husband helping himself to multiple plates of my family's food. I tried to remain cordial but when you have to overlook so much and still pay it is very hard. The husband and I had words during the planning and execution of my family's event more then once overall I found their management team to be rude and as if my business was a bother to them and was a problem. Money is GREEN and all humans when you pay you have a basic level of customer service expected it was not delivered. While the venue is pretty the management teams attitude is less then piss poor... if you want to be stressed out and irritated yet have your event at a pretty place then this is the venue for you. The stress and rudeness of their team was not worth the venues cuteness for me... I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and will never use them again. Maybe they treat brides better but my event was a very simple family event... and they failed miserably to do the most basic of things... and they had a HUGE insect issue that could have and should easily been controled by spraying NEVER AGAIN most brides are likely so in love that they are blind to the mess but this place would get a negative -1 from me if it were possible.
