I was sent to this urgent care for a pre employment screen. Every employee I had an interaction with was kind. They got me in and out quickly. Unwell patients were greeted in a timely manner and seen almost immediately from what I witnessed. read more

Was sent to collections over a bill that had been paid 3 months ago. When I called, they said "oops, yea sorry, that's been paid." The entire billing process from this clinic s a nightmare. Quality of care is fine, but not worth the absolute headache of making payments, getting receipts, and obviously being wrongfully sent to collections. read more

Update: a non medical office manager named Jessica called to tell me how this procedure isn't necessary due to "new technology". This is of course wrong, particularly for a child with a chronic issue. She then proceeded to talk over me, call me crazy, and then accused me of not bathing my children whichis what caused the problem and hung up the phone. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Staff needs training on appropriate clean catch procedure. We've taken our daughter here for the third time now with a UTI because it was after hours. And every time I have to beg and plead and then argue to get a sterile clean catch cup. Every time they claim they don't have them and they never do that. Except they do have them. And they should be doing that because it is the only way to get a correct and reliable result for a urine culture. Today, after finally getting one, I got to listen to the girls at the desk make rude remarks about me for insisting they find one, which was incredibly unprofessional. Then, the PA dosed the medication incorrectly. This happens literally every time we go there, so I always have the pharmacist re-calculate it and check. So then we have to wait while that happens and they call to get it corrected. The girls at the pharmacy said this happens literally all the time and that they personally would never go to this urgent care because it's so bad. Unfortunatly, it's the only place near us so sometimes we are forced to go. But if you don't already know your diagnosis and what meds you need, stay away. They really do not know what they are doing. read more

I brought my son in on a Saturday night for pink eye. We were taken back to a room within 10 minutes and out of there within a half hour. Everyone we interacted with was so nice and professional. Springfield Urgent Care's refuse to be transparent on which PA's will be treating you or your family on a visit. Most all other urgent care facilities will, therefore you get to decide if you want a certain doctor treating your situation. Avoid this place for Covid tests. It took 1hr 40min to get a 5 second Covid test. I made an appointment but they didn't send me in for 1hr late. Then I had to sit in the room for 40 minutes and see three different people before they gave me the COVID swab. They seem very unorganized. COVID tests should be fast and easy. I went in for a Covid test waited for an hour and a half then they brought me in the room and took my blood pressure and I waited another hour and a half. Do not go in for a Covid test unless there is only one car in the parking lot, it's miserable!!! read more

Fractured my elbow and they put my cast on completely wrong so it was digging into the part where it was fractured. Always check their work The least urgent urgent care. They take forever. I love sitting here in pain it's a good time. I wish I could've predicted me getting hurt so I could've made an appointment and not have all these people passing me You have to be showing signs of symptoms to get a covid test and you have to go in to make an appointment. So instead of making an appointment and showing up once their ready you have to go in risk getting people sick then go back out to you car and wait 2 hours in their tiny parking lot if you can even get a spot. Why would you not accept appointments for covid tests. I feel terrible I don't want to sit in my car for 2 hours when I could just show up when you guys are ready read more

CLINIC is great - billing is a nightmare. Their billing center is a joke to deal with - they have sent many employees to a collection agency for charges THAT ARE COVERED!! I have spent way to much time on hold for either the billing center or for the manager at the clinic to get this sorted out. I went to the UC in Highland and had a great experience. I was impressed with everything that could be done online before the appointment including booking, new patient paperwork, even scanning my insurance card. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The facility is new and well kept. The providers didn't seem rushed or tired, the seemed like the truly enjoyed their jobs. They made me feel like I was talking to my normal provider who knows me well. I would readily go back if needed. As a doctor myself who directs a clinic I was highly impressed! read more

Absolutely no doubt the best urgent care I have ever been to. I only came here to get tested for covid, my parents came here too before my brother and I, but the place is clean and every staff member was incredibly friendly and down to earth. They got us in quick, and both of the guys were really cool and nice and personal. With all this stuff going on, I really applaud them for having such high positivity and professionalism. The secretary was also very nice and organized when helping us. I honestly will come here from now on as my main urgent care even though it's father than others. Went to this Urgent Care the other day and it was a positive experience. Yes there was a wait but you are going to get that wherever you go. The staff were all very nice and helpful. As well as patient, there were a lot of people there that night, and from what I could see, they handled it well. We just moved to the area and I haven't gotten a PCP here yet so this was a weight off of my shoulders for the time being. They also have free hot drinks and some snacks which was awesome. read more

I went in with a clearly broken nose, blood for hours and it looked crooked they told me that they didn't have a MRI on the grounds and they turned me away without any treatment... later I called 4 urgent care places that were far away but said an MRI was not needed to X-ray a nose...when I drove 25 minutes to the next closest place they told me Springfield turns people away often... I had a bad cold a few weeks ago, with congestion and after reading great reviews, I passed by some other urgent care facilities to reach this one. Am I glad I did. Everyone was super nice and efficient. PA Brian suggested a couple over the counter medications, based on his examination. I got them at the Krogers located in a shopping center behind the facility, and by the next day I was breathing much better. Went in on a Sunday morning, and was seen right away. All the staff members were pleasant and engaging and made me feel comfortable. I didn't wait too long to see the doctor, got everything I needed and was out the door a timely manner. They also sent my prescription to the pharmacy so that it was ready to be picked up by the time I left. When my daughter gets sick and asks to go to the doctor, it is always after hours. This time around, she specifically asked to go to Springfield Urgent Care. The staff is wonderful. They listen to her and come up with a treatment plan. They are kind and caring. They try to get you into a room efficiently, a doctor or nurse practitioner in quickly, and out the door with a plan of action to heal. read more

I brought my son here with an injured foot during the summer and remembered the prompt and excellent care when I went in for myself. Recent illness of a flu-like nature, I was seen promptly and given excellent advice. I rate this Urgent Care with a background as a Registered Nurse, and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. They have a wonderful staff and even the woman who greets you at the desk as you come in could not be friendlier. The community should be grateful we can call this Urgent Care, ours. read more

The lady at the front desk was kind and professional which I appreciated. The office was very clean. However, I could not have been less impressed with my healthcare provider, Brian Marsh. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He started our visit by insulting my college degree, saying it was "utterly worthless" and that I would "inevitably be a waitress for the rest of my life." He continued explaining why my degree was useless, but would soften it with the occasional, "I don't mean to be offensive, the campus itself is beautiful." He concluded my visit by asking if I had a significant other, stating that "college is usually where you find that person." Odd small talk after such a condescending visit. Being knowledgeable as a doctor is important, but polite communication with your patients is even more so. I will not be returning to Springfield Urgent Care. read more

I've visited this urgent care twice in the past year. The first time I came here was back in April, I had flu like symptoms and had been sick for 3 weeks. The doctor who saw my mom and I didn't want to test me for the flu, she went off of what I said my symptoms were and gave me a steroid pack. She didn't test me for anything. 2 weeks later I finished the steroid back but I was even more sick than I was when I went in. I went to a different urgent care up at school and they tested me for the flu, mono, and strep. I had mono. One simple test that would have taken 5 minutes to perform wasn't initiated at all. I was sick for 8 weeks total and the visit to this urgent cares office was pointless for me. I recently came back a few days ago for an infected piercing. I felt really uncomfortable when talking to the nurses and the PA because they were talking down to me and interrogating me about my piercing rather than what I actually came in for. I feel my experiences would have been better if the doctors and nurses hadn't of made me feel stupid for coming in. As a college student who's tight on money, I would hope that urgent cares would do everything to the best of their ability to ensure that the patient is comfortable and is receiving the proper care they require . read more
